There is something wrong with me. I want this box, despite having all of my cards already organized AND having the BOX TO HOLD ALL THINGS on order.

This isn't unexpected but I'm surprised there hasn't been an announcement by GtG about this.  

You're surprised about a lack of regular official communication about things? Are we in the same forum?

They announced the combined Rook City / Infernal Relics pretty quickly. 

I hope they sell just the box again. Otherwise I must wait until my cards from those sets are too damaged to go on.

I like the art with Iron Legacy punching reality in the face.  Good thing Sentinels has no annoying dead sidekicks to accidentally resurrect.

It is terrible, I want to buy the entire game again, just so I can have the cool new boxes, and I definetly can't afford it

"In addition, we had promo villain variant cards for Heroic Infinitor and Trickster Kismet printed in celebration of this new set! These variants are already available as part of the Oversized Villain Card collection, but we will be sending them to Everything Everer backers as well as making them available for a limited time on our web store in January for Multiverse Month!"

I'm VERY happy to read this...! I use the normal sized villain card as a randomizer, so they're coming into my box, no questions asked!

I would also be interested in buying the box... Even though I will be getting the ultimate box once Oblivaeon ships. It's so Guise can be happy. I am doing it for Guise. Not me. Yup. That is what I am going to say to convince myself.

Hopefully we can just get the box. And forget Guise. I'm doing this for ME

Yes, thank you very much for producing standard-sized villain variants for these two.

Are we sure they are getting normal sized versions?   It's not clear from their statement that is the case.  

That's my interpretation too. it seems they will be supplying the variants.

Also, is there any word on getting an empty box?

Its listed in the newsletter sent out yesterday.  Paul also confirmed it in this thread.  

Confirmed again! Also:

1) The variants will be "normal sized", with a rules card and an art card.

2) We do not plan to offer "box only" orders this time around since there are now an excess of boxes of that size available (unlike when Rook City & Infernal Relics came out), and because the big storage box will be available next year.

That's awesome. I guess I will get the set anyways (for the collector in me) and sell/gift/keep the rest of the cards. I will be making an order when they are available!

Will these normal sized variants be purchasable on their own or will they have to be bought with the Shattered Timelines/Wrath of the Cosmos box?
