We finally fuinished 1000 games of SotM! Yay!!! Time for another big event: My Turn 2!!! This even is a sequel to My Turn!!! with all the current content. The goal of this event is to have every version of every hero win a game against every version of every villain. Simple!!! When you win a match, post the results in this thread and add you names to the spreadsheet in the appropriate cells. That's it.

PS If you name is too long, try not to have it wrap around, so the size of the cells changes. I like the look of consistency.

I don't think I was around for the last one, and I had to drop off from the 1000 games. I'm excited to join in on this!

Rogue Agent Knyfe, Standard Sentinels, and Horus Ra took Apostate (in the Enclave) down rather easily. As much as I am apt to forget her KNYFE can really rack up the damage under the right circumstances. Imbued Fire took away her melee and energy bonuses, but allowed for a strong turn with Battlefield Experience and Incidnetal Contact, before a telekentic jab took him out.

(It looks like Apostate isn't in the doc yet)

Thank you kindly. I do not always trust in my ability to preserve visual appeal so I thought it'd be best if I didn't intiate column and row moves.

Mr. Fixer, Price of Freedom Wraith, GI Bunker, Captain Cosmic, and Scholar of the Infinite had a fine time beating advanced Ambuscade on Mars. Fixer had to spend a few turns dealing with a meteor storm (with his Tire Iron, obviously, right tool for the right job,) but GI Bunker highlighted the flaws in Ambuscade's weaponry, while Cosmic bolstered Mr. Of The Infinite with enough Vitality Conduits to make a large scale healing cannon.

After a rough start Visionary, Tachyon, DW Nightmist, Greatest Legacy, and Sky-Scraper managed a sound defeat of the Thorathian fleet when it came to Megalopolis. They were slow to get going offensively and indulged in flashy, but inefficient, moves like Wresting the Mind of a Psy-Weaver. Once Tachyon got Gung-Ho about her Research Grant they buckled down and got to work.

Really easy game: Haka, Guise, Fanatic, Unity and PoF Wraith against Gloomweaver in Pike. Just pummeled gloomy to death (way before the third relic appeared).

Had a surprisingly close, but ultimately victorious, game against Advanced Gloomweaver in the Block with Sky-Scraper, Team Leader Tachyon, Unity, and Dark Watch Setback. Relics didn't come out so the Melee and Projectile immunity limited our combat options except for when Sky-Scraper decided to go huge (which hurt Unity.) Notable for an awesome turn that saw two Undetectable Relinking's played that had a Lock Down and double Aggresion Modulator boosted Warden attack Gloomweaver with the Compulsion Cannister, before two cannisters were reassigned so Gloomy hit himself and took out some of his pins.

Ended the game with something like seven links on Gloomweaver (two cannisters, two resonators, two hyperstimulators, and a debilitator,) which made me wish I was playing Extremist Sky-Scraper.

Outside of Setback everyone had less than eight HP in a rare compeititve game with the Demon Lord incarnate himself.

Scholar of the Infinite, Parse, Tempest, and Team Leader Tachyon fought Advanced Matriarch in Madame Mittermeyers'.  Did well with Scholar and Tempest making sure that all the birds blew up harmlessly until she flipped and Hugin and Munin were killable, then some strategic moves by Scholar and Tachyon did the same until she had one bad turn when she got only two birds, and the whole team dunked on her for about 100 damage.  Parse was also critical for canceling nearly all her ongoing destruction.

Certainly not all of them. Making a judgement call about which one you used the most, or which was the most critical, should be avoided. Either the one you started with our the one you ended with would be the least ambiguous, and I think the starting one would get the most consistency in reporting.

My Freedom Five F5-tornado plowed through their next three villains -- Challenge Matriarch in Megalopolis, Advanced Challenge Chairman at Mme. Mittermeier's, and Advanced Challenge Ambuscade at the Court of Blood.

... Is it too late to nerf these guys? 12 games, eight of which were Advanced Challenges, and I've had a grand total of 1 incapped hero the whole time.

Honestly im thinking about eventually asking you (MindWanderer) if it be possible to remove his data from the results, or seperate them out. For now however, he has like one or two games, even after tjis challenge is done hell have at most 45? Nonwhere near enough to really affect the other heroes results.

First just is the way to go.

So I think I get how this works.

Last night's Ennead match was in the realm of Discord, against plain-jane Ra, Scholar, Xtreme Haka and Termination Unity. Die Hard gave me a newfound appreciation for Haka. :D It was a fairly lengthy game, and we had to kick the butts of six of the Ennead by the end!

Guise, Freedom Six Tempest, Visionary, Greatest Legacy, and Ra tracked down Apostate who was starting to dabble in technomancy through Omnitron-IV. Neither the demon nor the environment let up throughout the game but ultimately some clever plays by Guise (making use of Greatest Legacy's power to play even more cards through Selling Out,) and a late game Brain Burn sacrifice from Visionary (to eliminate the harm of a Relic Spirit which was about to be taken out by the security systems,) managed to defeat him and keep the multiverse safe for now.

Two random questions now that I think about it:

- Anybody interested in doing some online multiplayer to work through some of these?

- I'm not good with spreadsheets, but I'd love to see a running total of how many variants each player has contributed to the grand total. Is there an easy way to do this?

I'd be up for multiplayer, though I have a weird schedule.

I palyed a team that I never had before and they worked amazingly well with each other: Captain Cosmic, Expatriette, and Setback against Akash in The Final Wasteland. An early Augmented Ally and Surprising Fortune let Setback build his and Expatriette's hands so they both got set up quickly. By Mid-game they settled into a very powerful Double Dynamic Siphon and Augmented Ally on Expat with triple Defensive Bracer and Augmented Ally on Setback, which let Setback give Expat the cards she needed to always aim at the beginning of her turn, and let him ignore the damage he was doing to himself from Looking Up. Whenever Skunk Apes would come into play they'd let Expat get another Aim and fire off Pride and Prejudice again. At one point I managed to get four aim effects at once and unloaded on limbs. Cosmic had his hands full supplying Expat and Setback with everything they needed, and even with Akash's numerous card plays they were unstoppable.

And after a second game:

Dawn decided to invade the Temple of Zhu Long, however three heros: The Argent Adept, Omnitron-U, and Captain Cosmic thwarted her nefarious plot to team up with Zhu Long

Omnitron had a syncapated onslaught boost, and a syphon. Which let him use his power 3 times. Then dawn played a Devastating Aurora while he had about 6 or 7 cards out, causing the devastation to be thrown right back at her

I never expect to lose against Chokepoint, but I enjoy the experience of playing her. This match was the second closest I've come to a defeat in recent memory, with Termination taking her on in Silver Gulch.

In the final round Unity was incapped, Bunker had one HP, and Absolute Zero was sitting at six with Violent Shivers in effect (no matter what he was going to incap next round thanks to double explosive wagons.) On Unity's turn Bunker managed to put Turret Mode into play and squeeze off a shot with his Explosive Launcher leaving Chokepoint with one hp. My best hope was for the environment to take her out, and there were plenty of options to do so, one unstable portal later Bunker and Absolute Zero are helping Unity back to the present.

I know a lot of people get down on Chokepoint for not being deadly, and I do wish she were more of a challenge, but I like how she forces you to make due with limited set-ups (especially on Advanced.) This game was an excellent example of that where AZ never kept both modules for long, Bunker started starving for cards, and Unity never had more than two golems out at a time, but they were still effective and felt like they were fighting on despite immense setbacks. Whenever Bunker lost his Flak Cannon he resorted to his Grenade Launcher. All the raptor bots gone? Find a way to destory that Bee Bot and we can keep moving. It felt like improvisational fighting at its best.

Gloomweaver Decided to invade Magmaria for his relics. Fortunatley, thanks to the X-TREME prime wardens, he was thwarted dead in his tracks

They work together pretty well. Once Fanatic got out a Sacrosanct Martyr and a Divine Focus, everything started going really well. Argent kept using his power on her, giving her a lot of play power and damage

A challenge mode for Chokepoint would be excellent. Or an alternate win condition based on the number of cards in front of her.

No one has posted any Vengenance games yet so I took the liberty of the reenacting the Venegeful Five's assault on Freedom Tower to defeat the Freedom Five (with the team variants.)

Boy do both teams work well together. Despite a round of Heroic Interception and Take Down the heroes were given no break thanks to Old Tricks-New Allies which pitted the heroes against many nemeses. Surprisingly both Friction and Tachyon got off to a slow start: all of the goggles, lightspeed barrages, and Pushing the Limits were at the top of the deck, thankfully Constant Prattle and Clandestine Funding were there to quickly dig Meredith out of it.

The end of the match was beautiful in the teamwork: Legacy used Overwatch to let Tachyon play Sonic Vortex which cleared the remaining four or so non-character targets, took out Ermine, leaving only Proletariat and the Good Baron himself. Bunker fired off his Grenade Launcher then used his Tactical Uplink to let Absolute Zero Hoarfire to his limits (burning himself down to 3 hp,) before Wraith methodically put the Russian and Lithuanian out of commision.

The Freedom Five then traveled to a Mobile Defense Platform to clear out any stragglers. Advanced Challenge Akash'Bhuta tried to take this as an opportunity to kill two (five?) birds with one stone. "She failed" is putting it lightly.

She might be immune to her own damage, she might be immune to the environment, but she sure isn't immune to Wraith's Combat Stance punching her in the face for exact lethal.

I assume incaps count as a win so long as the team wins, yes?

Cuz I got a win against Akash'Bhuta in the Court of Blood with Setback, the Scholar, Termi-Nation Bunker and incapped PW Fanatic. That was a fun game. :)

The real kicker was introducing my mom to Spite. She played Haka and the Scholar, I was Fixer, KNYFE and Ra, and only Fixer and the Scholar made it through, but by crum, we won. (I blame her ridiculous beginner's luck; I hadn't shuffled the deck very well from a previous game against AoG Spite and all the Drugs were on top. <.<) Scholar did the defending, Fixer did the damage, it was great!

It takes a long time to input the data for Vengenance games.

After Apostate's failure with Omnitron he thought he might go more traditional dark and creepy and therefore invaded Madame Mittermier's Carnival (CFF, etc.) Luckily a stalwart team of Best of Times Chrono, Prime Wardens Tempest, Ra: Setting Sun, Fugue State Parse, and Adamant Sentinels were there to oppose him.

This was one of my more interesting fights with Apostate (and I tend to fight Apostate a lot, he's challenging but easy on destruction,) the first round saw Hall of Mirrors come into play which changed my strategy up considerably: Parse doesn't want to discard because the Critical Multiplier will backfire, Ra doesn't have his damaging one-shots so he spends turns building up and making people immune to fire damage that never comes, without Sentinel Tactics the Sentinels are left hunkering down and healing for fear the Idealist will turn on them with all of her specific Villain damage. Those few rounds were full of interesting plays that would usually be second-choice decisions for me.

At 2 HP remaining Apostate plays a Profane Summons in a game that so far only saw Condemnation, The Peripet, and one Gauntlet, not a big deal right? This is why we keep Buffer Overflows around, I'll just discard it, and wait, shoot he had a second Profane Summons under the first!? He is a devious one.

Because of that this match became one of the handful of times I've seen Apostate flip, but even so he was dead before he got to act again.

The Freedom Five brought down Advanced Challenge Gloomweaver in the Realm of Discord. I was a little surprised the game ended before the flip despite my Infrared Eyepiece-ing Relics to the top of Gloomy's deck whenever possible (and, later, two rounds of Time Flies giving him extra plays). F5 AZ was the star of the show, of course, being able to set up both Impales and a Cold Snap by the end of his third turn. Freedom Five "Immune to Infernal" Legacy played second fiddle.

GI Bunker led a motley crew of Guise, Scholar, Young Legacy, and Freedom Six Absolute Zero against Infinitor in Insula Primalis. They struggled through a close match that saw Legacy fall in the final rounds, Infitor showed me why he has that name as he brought wave after wave of manifestations to bear against the heroes. This game is doubly notable in that it is the first I've played in which Bunker got no gun (used Panzer Buster the entire game,) and Scholar put out no forms (indeed he only played one-shots.) Guise (and his ability to copy Ammo Drop,) saved the day by weakening the majority of manifestations (Barbarian/Blatant Reference,) before Absolute Zero sacrificed his own Coolant Blast in a fueled freeze. Very fun, very tight match.

I hope I don't start flooding this thread, too. ._.

After an aborted Vengeance game, we took our frustrations out on Apostate in Silver Gulch. PW Haka, KNYFE, Tempest and Hunted Naturalist kicked the crap out of him in record time, poor sap.

Then we had a good game against the Ennead in the Tomb of Anubis: TN Absolute Zero, Completionist Guise, Tempest and standard Naturalist. It was a nice, clean fight against five of the Ennead. Also, Completionist Guise and Absolute Zero need to get married, that's how much they love each other. :V

Also, I want to mention Xtreme Tempest is listed in the spreadsheet as Sacrifice, instead of F6. :B Not a big deal.

Had two games tonight trying to get my dad into Sentinels. Again. He played Ra both times and got the final blow both times, and I don't think he had the least idea what he was doing at any point in the game. c.c

But the first was a blessedly flipless fight against Ambuscade in Insula, with Tempest, Bunker, Ra and Fanatic. The second was a ridiculously long game against Blade in Megalopolis with the Scholar, the Sentinels, Ra and KNYFE. KNYFE found herself unexpectedly on environment cleanup, while the Sentinels ran around like proverbial chickens. It was actually pretty close.

Decided to go for another Nemesis Vengenance match with Freedom Five Bunker, the Hunted Naturalist, Dark Watch Fixer, Best of Times Chrono, and Nightmist fighting Miss Information, Ambuscade, The Operative, La Capitan, and Bugbear in the Court of Blood.

It was another match of scarcity as Fixer never had more than one tool (no styles,) and Chrono didn't get an equipment out until his last turn.

The match started off strong as Ambuscade pulled out the entire Sinister Six out on his first turn so they were not only contending with their combined effects, but also trying to defeat Ambuscade before his deck shuffled and they had to face them all over again (they were successful.)

An early Heedless Lash put Nightmist in Mist Form for most of the game, but that let them ignore Bugbear and the Court for the most part. The Court helped in the final rounds of the game actually as Unhallowed Halls eliminated Bugbear's healing from concern. Mistformed Nightmist still got to help out though through FVBunker's excellent tactical advice (Jackhandle and Oblivion were the only things that allowed the team to deal with the Sinister Six as quickly as they did.)

The Operative incapped Fixer in the final round, but Iadio Practioner was destroyed so it was only a moral victory. Chronoranger almost made it to the end, but Nightmist decided to pop out of Mistform to Oblivion everything around her (boosted by Unhallowed Halls,)

Naturalist was a workhorse. Mistform eliminated the need for Rhino and he didn't get good gazelle cards, so he stayed in Crocodile for the entirety and took out targets as needed.

I finished off a nemesis run of Vengenance Villains and FV Bunker, with him leading a team of Setback, Scholar, Vionsary: Unleashed, and KNYFE, against Greazer, Plague Rat, Biomancer, Hammer/Anvil, and Steel.

This was my first time playing Visionary: Unleashed and I didn't get to see what she could do; she didn't get an ongoing out until the last round.

I thought I was in for a tough match but External Combustion, Chemical Frenzy, and Psychic Maelstrom in the first four card plays have a tendancy to remove a lot of obstacles. The immense amount of all target damage managed to remove all handlers, the hammer and anvil, and Steel's agents by turn 4.

For the first time Biomancer wasn't the last villain incapped (in fact he was the first,) so I experienced the frustration of his inap ability.

FV Bunker plays well with Setback since you know when to Risk it all (it takes a man in an indestructible suit to handle Setback correctly.)

The last round was a lot of fun: Scholar played Proverbs and Axioms Bunker dealt himself 4 damage for Tactical Uplink, revealing Knyfe's For the Greater Good, so she dealt herself 4 damage to use Battlefield Experience for seven, played another Battlefield Experience, dealt herself another 4 from Proverbs to use that Battlefield XP, and playing Incidental Contact to  hit all heroes for three, before Setback hit himself for four to play Cause and Effect incapping himself with a seven attack. Scholar and Visionary sat out and healed.

All told Heroes dealt each other for 38 damage that round, close to the total the villains managed over the course of the game.

Narrowly defeated Skinwalker in the Celestial Tribunal with Visionary Unleashed, FV Absolute Zero, Extremist Sky-Scraper, Xtreme Tempest, and Fused Cosmic.

Cosmic got hit once from his constructs, but after that turn he was covered by double defensive bracers and pushed light out with impunity. Of course once Gloomweaver flipped the Constructs became a liability so he focused on complicated tricks that mostly netted 1 damage, but he hung around and didn't die and was instrumental to the first part of the battle.

In the final round Sky-scraper changed sizes three times (hitting Gloomy for 5 in her intravenous assualt) and caught a ride from a Gene-bound shackled Tempest.

Apostate was up to his old tricks in the Tomb of Anubis against Sky-Scraper, Legacy, FVI Absolute Zero, Guise, and Fanatic. Despite a first turn Profane Summons Apostate was no match for this well-motivated team, and went down with little fight.

Young Legacy, Super-Scientific Tachyon, EOW Bunker, Scholar of the Infinite and Visionary had a phenomenal game against Iron Legacy. 3 rounds, 7 minutes long, Scholar played a Don't Dismiss Anything off another Don't Dismiss Anything, and that's pretty much what won the game for us. :D

DW Expatriette, Legacy, Argent Adept and Santa Guise had fun against advanced Apostate in the Enclave of the Endlings. Argent kept feeding Guise powers, and he kept feeding everyone else ridiculous setup. :3

Guse, DW Expatriette, Argent Adept, Chrono-Ranger and Redeemer Fanatic took out advanced Plague Rat in Megalopolis. Things were looking grim when the last three went down, but Guise carried their sorry butts to the finish. :V

I finally beat the trifecta of Omnitron vs. Omnitron in Omnitron. OmniX had a great team with Legacy, Team Leader Tachyon, Argent Adept and Dark Visionary, and I got supremely lucky with the card draws. (Let's hear it for 12-point Defensive Blasts!)

Lastly, Bunker, Setback, Guise, Scholar of the Infinite and Sky-Scraper beat up advanced Ambuscade in Dok'thorath. Nothing to write home about.

FYI, my new stats page now has a difficulty calculator you can use to get an idea of how hard a match might be before you commit to it, and maybe spread out the worse heroes with some better allies when up against the harder villains, and spread out the harder Vengeance villains as well.

Kudos to Dandolo for beating Kaarga Warfang with basic Dark Watch: only a predicted 27.53% chance of winning that one!

It's way off on Progeny vs. Dark Watch in Rook City, though.  That would be one case where accounting for the interaction term would be valuable–Progeny in Rook City seems to be much harder than either of them by themselves.  Make sure you log those games!

I think I logged all 10 of my losses there already. I’m still working my way through a backlog of adding the games I played as part of the 1000 games thread and my battle of the teams thread to the statistics project (and regretting my decision to do it all at the end). Oh, I missed that you were doing all battles on Advanced.  That actually cuts the win probability against Kaarga by half, making that one even more impressive, and the calculator for Progeny is pretty close to your actual result now.

Tried to see if my mom's beginner's luck would hold up against the Matriarch. It did. :V Of course, it helped that our team was the Scholar, Tachyon, F5 Legacy and the Naturalist. Scholar makes her eeeeasy.

Then we tried out advanced Baron Blade against Parse: Fugue State (zounds! I reported this one incorrectly in the statistics project! D:), Super-Scientific Tachyon, F5 Wraith and F5 Bunker. Poor Bunker fell to an ill-timed Experiment, but the heroes won in the end.

I also played a game against the Matriarch with Scholar and Tachyon (though of the Infinite and Super Scientific varieties,) along with Tempest, Nightmist, and Captain Cosmic in the Tomb of Anubis. As TakeWalker says Tachyon and Scholar go a long way to neutering Matriarch's worst excess, and the area attacks of Tempest and the Deck freezing of Nightmist made this surprisingly simple.

I had nothing to do this morning, so I decided to set out on my quest to defeat all the Vengeance villains! It took two tries each to beat Sergeant Steel and Citizens Hammer & Anvil, but separating them helped. The winning games:

Haka, KNYFE and Tempest took out Bugbear, Plague Rat and Proletariat.

Setting Sun Ra, KNYFE and Super-Scientific Tachyon defeated Biomancer, Sergeant Steel and La Capitan. (Biomancer is a chump when you're dealing irreducible damage!)

And that same team took down Citizens Hammer & Anvil, Miss Information and the Operative. I think I have my Vengeance team now. :) Oh yeah, and all fights were in the Final Wasteland, which certainly helped out. :V

It was a very tough battle, was unable to get Spite to flip. Both Setback and Expatriette went down. Fortunately, Mister Fixer had Driving Mantis, Pipe Wrench and Harmony. With the combination of the incap powers and Mister Fixer's turn, 12 damage was being dealt to Spite every round. NightMist had Amulet, so she was constantly redirecting Spite's big damage hit at the end of his turn.

After a failed excursion for the Xtreme Prime Wardens, Best of Times Chrono, Extremist Sky-Scraper, Fused Cosmic, Desperate Prey Naturalist, and Dark Dynamics Adept defeated Baron Blade, Fright Train, Plague Rat, Biomancer, and Proletariat at Madame Mittermeier's.

Desperate Prey continues to be (chimeric) beast. Adept revealed Crocodile on the first turn so Naturalist spent his time chomping and crunching everything that came his way ending the game at one point below full health while everybody else was in high single digits or low double digits.

As often happens in Vengenance games with Best of Times, once he got Kill on Sight he also started to steamroll the opposition.

Since the text applies to the target, doesn't Kill on Sight destory itself when any target is destroyed? Or am I forgetting a key phrase in Best of Times Chrono Ranger's power that prevents the Contract's destruction? I don't have the card with me.

Best of Times specifically says that bounties are not destroyed when the affected target leaves play. So in this case Kill On Sight was played on Biomancer (since I generally assume he'll be the last one I take out, I was wrong in this case,) and I use True Purpose to have every bounty affect one of the Revocorp Handlers. When he is destroyed the effect on Kill on Sight triggers, but Kill on Sight will not be destroyed until Biomancer leaves play.

The Variants of Vengenance Heroes defeated Unstable Kismet at Dok'Thorath. I don't have much experience against her so it was a surprising match. Setback should have died many times over, but Naturalist or Idealist were always around to reduce or redirect damage. In the end he defeated her with a Targeting Arrow and Predator's Eye enhanced Reckless Rush that would have incapped him if he didn't take her out first, which is always a satisfying way to end a game.

Wraith, Fixer, Setback, Ra, and DW Expat had a meeting in Rook City with Deadline. By the end of the fourth turn Rook City only had two cards left (Blighted Streets and Falling Statuary because life is kind to me.) Everyone was in single digits but Drawn to the Flame turned the catastrophes around on Deadline and helped significantly.

The set-up was wasted because Deadline deals so much irreducible damage, but Wraith started with Stun Bolts and Fixer with Hoist Chain, which kept Tony Taurus around long enough to be destroyed by a flipped Deadline. At one point (through Turn of Events and Overdrive,) I managed to stack five debuffs on Deadline.

Saturday night: The Scholar, Legacy, Bearded Ra, and Eternal Haka took on The Advanced Chairman in Freedom Tower.  Savage Mana plus Rampage was the star of this show, basically shutting down the Chairman's whole gimmick.  We drew Entry Point four times, so that when the Chairman flipped, he would have been doing 9 damage back to us every time we hit him... except that by then we had plenty of ways to prevent him from dealing damage.  Ra and Haka finished in excess of 20 HP, Legacy and Scholar in the high teens.

Sunday, we moved on to Advanced Iron Legacy in Wagner Mars Base, taking with us Redeemer Fanatic, Parse, Greatest Legacy, and Team Leader Tachyon (because my friends are chicken).  The synergy was fantastic: Parse, with G. Legacy's help, took out both of I. Legacy's scary ongoings in round 1, and subsequently never allowed them to build up.  He never got any damage reduction, so we we able to plink him consistently (mostly with Divine Focus fueled by Tachyon and Fanatic's own power), getting him to 22 HP at the start of round 3.  A damage boost from Parse and Tachyon having just enough Bursts in her trash enabled us to win without flipping him.  And just for funsies, we played out the next few turns: environment did nothing of import, I. Legacy flipped set up some damage redirection, then Fanatic discarded to use up his redirect and then used Final Dive for nearly 30 damage.  So even though we were close to death, it was a massive win.

Since we had time, we set up a quick game of Mr. Fixer, Unity, Young Legacy, and Visionary vs. Challenge Mode Baron Blade in Wagner Mars Base.  We would have been moderately close to loss by moon landing if not for Visionary's Brain Burn, which is just stupidly good in this situation.  What's funny is that we didn't check the My Turn 2 spreadsheet ahead of time, so only Mr. Fixer got credit for this win, yet Fixer spent basically the entire game skipping his turns to deal with the environment.  So he could have been anyone and it wouldn't have mattered at all.

Finally, I just bought the video game version, and to try out Guise, I took him up against Kismet in Silver Gulch, aided by Argent Adept, Absolute Zero, Chrono Ranger, and Tachyon.  Not much to report except that I don't really understand Guise.  And Guise using Vocalize is hilarious.

Argent Adept, Nightmist, Sky-Scraper, Expatriette, and Guise took on Advanced Baron Blade in Omnitron-IV.  Never played that environment before, so I didn't know it would help Blade directly, but he's still not hard.

I have a much better feel for Guise now, but he needs damage boosts to be effective.  Guise loves the Argent Adept--getting those damage boosts, pretending to be able to sing to give himself more damage boosts, stealing instruments to give himself even more damage boosts, then discarding a bunch to chain a ton of damage together.  Expatriette benefitted a ton from those boosts, too.  I don't think Argent Adept was amused, though.

Played several digital and one physical game over the weekend.

First, Guise led Legacy, Mr. Fixer, Tempest, and The Visionary into battle against La Capitan in the Time Cataclysm.  Got some nifty Fixed Point shenanigans, allowing Guise to combo like crazy for three consecutive rounds and unlock Santa Guise.  La Capitan finished the game at about -30 HP.

Played several games with Santa Guise. Ambuscade was just slaughtered. TLT really shone against The Dreamer, mutually supporting and supported by Guise, while The Scholar mooched off of Tempest's healing and TLT's draws.  The last was against Advanced Omnitron in Omnitron IV, which is actually a really cool and challenging battle.  You don't normally get to win by playing End of Days, so that was fun.

The physical game involved The Visionary against Advanced Plague Rat in the Court of Blood.  I only mention her because everyone else was largely irrelevant--Twist the Ether with Unhallowed Halls in play is basically it for Plague Rat.  Parse kept the number of Infections reasonable, The Sentinels did most of the damage, and Ra... well, in any other environment he would have been critical, but not this time.

Had some time to kill today and used the randomizer in the spreadsheet to come up with games. Granted, a lot of them had too many non-digital decks, and I lost four, but here's what I finished:

Expatriette, UNity and Scholar beat up Chokepoint in the Final Wasteland.

Scholar, Redeemer Fanatic and EoW Bunker had a tense game against Deadline on Mars.

Another tense game, this time with Haka, F6 Tempest and Young Legacy against the Dreamer in Megalopolis. Though we spent the whole game fighting on the Rooftop and in the end had two extra Projections under her, so maybe it wasn't that tense.

F6 Unity, Wraith and Greatest Legacy beat Gloomweaver down in the Block. (Heroic Interception + Golem-Spawn + out-of-turn power usage = very yes)

A fight with Heroic Infinitor turned tedious when my careful deck-stacking was blocked by the Block. Nightmist went down, but Tachyon, Redeemer Fanatic and Dark Visionary were able to help him stop being crazy for a little while.

Lastly, a highly frustrating game: Dark Watch Setback, Omnitron-X, Golem Unity and Dark Watch Fixer versus Wager Master in the Realm of Discord. When turn order is reversed and your turn goes backwards and you have to skip either play or power, things become confusing to keep track of. D: At least I won, goshdarnit.

TakeWalker beat me to getting Golem Unity against Gloomweaver, because I decided to test how awful Gloomweaver really was by taking with her Dark Watch Fixer, Elemental Wrath AZ, Captain Cosmic, and Bunker in Rook City, and lost on my first attempt.  It would be fair to say that Rook City beat me, with Gloomweaver's support, though.  It took Unity 3 turns to draw any bots at all, and then it was Turret and Stealth, too little too late.

Second time I got an early Tony Taurus and drove Fixer to 1 HP making use of him, while this time Unity was able to get out the Bee Bots she needed to deal with the rest of the environment, and Sub-Zero Atmosphere sealed the deal.  Only Fixer ended with less than 20 HP.

Then I took a shot at the Ennead, which was pretty unremarkable.  I forgot how terrible they were when not on Advanced, and it was gross overkill.

Because I'd never fought non-Advanced, non-promo Gloomweaver before, and I lost last night before winning today, the Statistics Project Contributor Report currently shows that the hardest villain for me is him (displacing Advanced Kaargra Warfang).  Blargh.

To avenge myself, I took Young Legacy, Chrono-Ranger, Omnitron-U, the Scholar of the Infinite, and Dark Visionary to the Tomb of Anubis to fight Gloomy on Advanced.  Absolute slaughter--Gloomy's Advanced ability is meaningless when you have Dark Visionary to get the relics out (all 3 in 4 turns) and Twist the Ether besides.  One of the few times I put By Any Means on a non-character card, and Twist the Ether on a hero, and have it be exactly the right call.  Had a tough time killing zombies--not much mass damage in this team--but two rounds of double Flesh to Iron and one of Heroic Interception stalled enough for the Tomb to deal with them for me, and finish the game with all my heroes but Legacy at 20+ HP (and Gloomy at 81).  Gloomweaver really is pretty terrible.

Continuing my self-imposed challenge of taking on easy villains with terrible heroes in tough environments, GI Bunker, Argent Adept, Mr. Fixer, Dark Watch Expatriette, and Dark Watch Nightmist went to Rook City to face Tormented Infinitor.

It was actually extremely clutch, with only Argent Adept, Nightmist, and Infinitor left alive.  Got trashed round after round, with multiple manifestations coming out every round, and Nightmist failing entirely to draw any deck control.  (We did get Adhesive Foam Grenades coming up a lot, but it turned out they'd only prevented Dr. Tremata from making an appearance--and she's amazing against a villain that counts as a hero.)  Finally, with all the manifestations either in play or under Infinitor, there was nothing left he could do but endlessly chain cards that dealt 1 damage to all targets, which of course wiped the board. AA and Infinitor only survived due to double Counterpoint Bulwarks being played on them, at 3 HP each, and Nightmist survived due to a last-round Mist-Fueled Recovery for 7 HP, leaving her at 7 exactly.

Played a bunch more games, mostly unremarkable, but there was one extremely tense game against Advanced Spite.  Due to poor strategy and reading comprehension on my part, I took way too much damage before he flipped dealing damage, that he just healed, and I completely failed to draw any damage mitigation while trying to stall for him to flip.  Chrono Ranger went down first, followed by Expatriette and Santa Guise (who did manage to do a lot of damage, and soak up several ongoing returns, before succumbing).  F6 Tempest lasted for a while, but once all his defenses got returned to his hand, he couldn't keep it up.

That left only Dark Watch Nightmist, but thanks to extra plays and draws being handed to her by Chrono Ranger and Tempest, she managed to heal herself just enough to keep up with the damage, and occasionally reflect 1 point of damage back.  Finally she managed to recover some extra HP and use Oblivion for 3 and 3, bringing her down to where she could just barely survive another round, and Expatriette finished Spite off with her incap power (destroy a target at exactly 1 HP).  Too bad the stats project can't log double special conditions like that!

The Scholar of the Ininite brought along his protege Guise, along with Eternal Haka, Tempest, and Redeemer Fanatic to take on Kaarga Warfang in the Time Cataclysm.  The first battle was an absolute disaster, with Kaargra flipping early and the gladiators getting a ton of titles right out of the gate.  The second was going much worse at first, with several gladiators protected by Provocator Tarnis with Stonejaw, bringing Tempest down to 1 HP, but a lucky series of events turned things completely around--a Ground Pound and Extreeeme! immediately followed by Fixed Point and then Alchemical Redirection with two Flesh to Irons and a Shielding Winds out allowed the team to clear out most of the gladiators and earn the 20 favor points without taking any more damage at all.  At that point we had multiple options to end the battle--Haka had a fat fist of cards and a Haka of Battle and Guise had the makings of a nova round--but Wrathful Retribution brought Kaargra down to single digits.  The Scholar used Channel to take her down to 4 HP, and then, in the most story-ish move I've ever made, Guise copied the Scholar's Channel for just 1 damage, triggering Guise's Death-Caller title and ending the match.

It's really hard keeping track of titles in the video game, at least on the phone.

The Argent Adept, The Scholar, Guise, Freedom 6 Tempest, and Sky-Scraper took out Cosmic Omnitron in Omnitron IV.  Tempest became an obscene powerhouse, since he could sacrifice unopened gifts to get everything he could possibly want, and discard the rest for 12 damage a round.  Not to mention Cleansing Downpour with an effective 4 copies of Mortal Flesh to Energy--and AA letting him use it twice a round--is pretty sick.  But the real kicker was Sky-Scraper opening 4 presents at once with Proportionist in play--two of which were Colossal Left Hook, which let her change size even more.  She bounced up and down like a pile of Jell-O while smacking everything in sight and ended the game far earlier than I thought.  No one ended with less than 21 HP.

Even a Spite game you can walk away from is not a good Spite game. :C At least I can say I beat him with the Sentinels, I did not actually expect that to work.

Bunker spent the whole game in Upgrade Mode, literally from round one, and beat the put-back Drug like no one's business. The Sentinels did most of the damage, owing to their ability to hit 2-3 times a turn. Also, Medico kept Prime Wardens Fanatic from freaking dying after she pulled a Divine Sacrifice at the wrong time. (Prime Wardens Fanatic + Dr. Medico = amazing) Visionary mostly just existed to keep Bunker full up on cards in hand. Fanatic did a bunch of self-damage, tried to keep things in play, and ended the game with a 27-point Wrathful Retribution, dropping Spite to -20 HP.

But it was Hunted Naturalist who kept everyone alive. An early Rhino card and lots of luck with Indomitable Force meant he was soaking all the power-use damage, and then some. Even if he hadn't been Hunted, I think he would have won the game for us, just maybe with fewer cards in play.

Aaaand I think I'm done for the day.

Played a bunch more games.  Some highlights:

  • Fleshwalker Gloomweaver in the Final Wasteland. With some careful management, including Wraith using Throat Jab on Absolute Zero, I was able to get him removed from the game without flipping thanks to Unforgiving Wasteland.  Tricky but totally worth it.
  • The Matriarch vs. the Final Wasteland. The heroes were largely irrelevant, other than Sky-Scraper, who used Thorathian Monolith to protect everyone from a first-turn clear.  Pulled Ancient Library on the first turn and milked it for all it was worth until it spat out Unforgiving Wasteland (which it did immediately) and Horrid Skunk Ape (which came out on Sky-Scraper's turn and promptly got an Aggression Modulator).  By the end of the game, Matriarch's entire deck consisted of nothing but one Carrion Fields and her one-shots.
  • Iron Legacy took me 3 tries with GI Bunker, Chrono Ranger, Captain Cosmic, Dark Watch Fixer, and Omnitron-U, mainly because Chrono kept not drawing any bounties.  But they absolutely cleaned up on that third try: Legacy had Vigilance out, which worked very nicely with The Ultimate Target, Autonomous Blade, and Riveting Crane.
  • Slamara can be disastrous with The Dreamer.  Kept forcing me to damage her, but I won with her at 2 HP.
  • Mr. Fixer led a team against The Chairman.  The Visionary took one for the team with an early Brain Burn, which makes him way easier.  Finished him with Omnitron-X flipping an Overdrive from Fixer's deck.

Even though some of them were done already, the Freedom Six (minus AZ) just took out Iron Legacy.  Doesn't get much easier: Tempest kept recycling Throat Jabs and Hypersonic Assaults, and Bunker took out Legacy's healing (which he drew a ton of).  One of the few times the nemesis bonus has acted almost completely in my favor, since that's what I needed to get past his damage reduction.

Played two games over lunch today.

Game 1: Advanced Heroic Infinitor vs. Argent Adept, Freedom Six Tempest, and Omnitron-X in Omnitron-IV. Infinitor started with, in order, Twisted Miscreation, Lambent Reaper, Lambent Reaper, Lambent Reaper.  So, uh, he flipped before I could play a card (started as the highest, and the 5 point hit from the Miscreation made him the lowest, so the Reapers did 8 damage a hit).  We had no time to get set up and the indestructible Reapers picked us off, one each round.  Never had a chance.  I've yet to beat Advanced HI when he flips unless I had Nightmist or Visionary on the team.

Game 2: Advanced Citizen Dawn vs. Unity, Visionary, Santa Guise, Argent Adept, and Setback in the Block.  We won easily.  During round 2, Prison Riot came out and played two Imprisoned Rogues, Char, and a Time-Crazed Prisoner.  I decided to sell out for damage and put Wrest the Mind on Char, and had AA pass Visionary a play to put Twist the Ether on herself.  At the beginning of the environment turn, Citizen Dawn had 59 HP. At the play phase of the environment turn, Citizen Dawn had 23 HP.  Go Char!  Sure, Visionary lost 12 HP on the deal, but I'd say doing triple that to Dawn was worth it.  We easily won in the next round.

I had the easiest game in the world against advanced Matriarch, of all people. F6 Tempest, Tachyon, Fanatic, Unity and PW Argent Adept took her out in Pike Industrial, and Tachyon barely even did anything!

Scholar of the Infinite, Tempest and EoW Bunker had an easy win against advanced Heroic Infinitor in Omnitron-IV.

Dark Watch Nightmist, Setback and Visionary won to the odds against advanced Wager Master in the Tomb of Anubis. They would've won sooner if I'd remembered even instead of odd. >.<

Chrono-Ranger, Omnitron-X, Sky-Scraper, F6 Wraith and the Scholar took AoG Spite down in the Enclave of the Endlings.

After two tries, Legacy, Haka, Expatriette and Tempest won, 38-17 against Kaargra Warfang in the Enclave. So, I load up the game, let it start running on her turn, go set up my next streaming song. I hear cards playing, the usual, then "Kaargra! Kaargra!" I click play, it takes a second to load, I alt-tab back to the game, some Russian punk shouts "Raz, dva, tri, chetirye!" and Kaargra punches Haka in the face. It was metal.

Lastly, a well-earned win against Cosmotron in the Block, thanks to Legacy, Guise, Omnitron-U, the Scholar and Sky-Scraper!

Whenever a new variant/character comes out in the digital game, I like to run them through all the villains in a row. I have just done this with the Prime Wardens. Normally, I would feel bad about hogging all these victories, but A) the Wardens are oddly underused in the spreadsheet, and B) I didn't beat everyone, so there's still room for others to finish them off with.

The villains I did not beat are:

Chairman
Dreamer
Iron Legacy

Kaargra Warfang
The Matriarch
Spite

But oh boy did I tear AoG Spite a new one. :D Also notable was the Progeny fight, where Haka was able to pull off a victory all by his lonesome. (Sadly, he was not able to repeat this feat against Spite. :C)

F5 variants beat down Advanced Mad Bomber Blade in Megalopolis.

The Wardens' team variants are probably underused because a) they were only recently added to Sentinels Digital, and b) not all of us have the foil variant box or access to promo-handout events. This goes double for anything not in the video game -- only Kickstarter backers get to play around with the variants that have so far only been printed in the foil box, for example.

The out-of-town brother that introduced me to Sentinels was visiting for Thanksgiving; I introduced him to Vengeance.

Visionary Unleashed, Setting Sun Ra, Naturalist, Expatriette, and the Sentinels (barely) defeated Blade, Greazer, Biomancer, Ambuscade, and Sgt. Steel at Mme. Mittermeier's. The middle three heroes were incapped (or nearly so) when we realized Visionary had a Cocoon. Given that this thread has fallen to the second page of active topics, I think it's safe to say no one cares about it anymore and won't mind that I took some time today to fill in blanks via the video game.

My second attempt at the Chairman was one of the easiest Chairman games I've ever played. Captain Cosmic and Argent Adept piled support on Chrono-Ranger, who took the Operative down in two rounds. Expat and Bunker both did some damage, too, but seriously, Chrono, yowza.

Next, I went nine rounds against Chokepoint in the Time Cataclysm. I guess the secret to making her harder to fight is having fewer damage-dealing options! Though it wasn't like DW Nightmist, Tachyon and Dark Visionary had a really rough time or anything.

Legacy, Fixer, Omnitron-X and Super Scientific Tachyon helped Dark Watch Nightmist get her victory against Citizen Dawn. Almost made it without her flipping, but I at least appreciated the back to back -- I'm talking twice in one turn -- Devastating Auroras.

It took me four tries to beat the Dreamer, but I did it with DW Fixer, Greatest Legacy, PW Fanatic and Eternal Haka. Haka was the star, but I Fanatic and Legacy were great to combo off each other. :)

Had a very quick, easy game against the Ennead in Silver Gulch, thanks to Young Legacy, DW Nightmist (does no one ever play her?), Fixer and Ra.

My Skinwalker Gloomweaver game failed (that's gonna be a hard one to crack), but I succeeded against Infinitor with Legacy, F6 Bunker, F6 Wraith, Redeemer Fanatic and SS Tachyon in the Temple.

And then it was back to the Temple to help Heroic Infinitor conquer his demons once and for all! Scholar, Visionary, Ra, F6 Unity and the regular Wraith helped out this time.

Still not enough to move that percentage point up! :B

Two games with the family tonight:

Parse, Setback, KNYFE, the Sentinels, and the Naturalist defeated Unstable Kismet at Freedom Tower.

F5 Legacy, Fugue State Parse, F5 Absolute Zero, Hunted Naturalist, and Termi-Nation Bunker defeated Omnitron at Megalopolis.

Much as I like filling in blanks, I also want to focus on Vengeance as much as I can, since I know not everyone's got it. So I'm trying to beat all the villains on advanced!

The first attempt didn't go so well (if KNYFE had had 2 more HP ;_;) but I was able to take out Greazer, La Capitan and Ambuscade with SS Tachyon, Tempest and Setting Sun Ra in the Final Wasteland. Milking the Wasteland for HP has never been a better idea!

Two games tonight that were supposed to be easy, but dragged on forever.

Xtreme Fanatic, Xtreme Haka, Fugue State Parse and Visionary Unleashed took out Chokepoint after a protracted 9-round battle in the Court of Blood that mostly involved a lot of sitting around, waiting for things to get on with it, already.

Then, Termi-Nation Bunker, Xtreme Haka, Visionary Unleashed and the Sentinels got their butts kicked by Silver Gulch and also Ambuscade was there. Idealist went down twice, but at least it wasn't like the last time I fought Ambuscade with the Sentinels, which, coincidentally, was the last time I lost to him. <.<

The morning's Vengeance game did not go well (Plague Rat had 2 HP! ;_;), so I took on challenge Ambuscade for a lark. It was a short, brutal fight, but Dark Conductor Argent Adept, Freedom 5 Legacy, Hunted Naturalist, Freedom 5 Absolute Zero and Prime Wardens Haka prevailed. The turning point was a 21-point Thermal Shockwave from Absolute Zero, dropping him to 3 HP and dropping Ambuscade to Haka of Battle range. :3

The morning's advanced Vengeance games were surprisingly victorious. :) Because I don't mind using spam and cheese in the name of beating something the first time, I think I've come up with a winning strategy, which I would like to share for anyone struggling with Vengeance-style play. (Standard advice of "area-of-effect damage" and "don't use heroes that need to set up" apply.)

1) Setting Sun Ra. You can use normal Ra, because Drawn to the Flame is amazing, but a base power that deals irreducible AoE tears everything apart. And when he finally kicks the bucket, you'll get a lot of mileage per game out of his "destroy all targets with 4 or fewer HP" incap power.

2) Milk the Wasteland. Wait for Con's Bunker and the Ancient Library to come out, then flood the board with environment targets. Until the final rounds of the game, villain targets are likely to be the lowest, so you won't take too much damage. Also synergizes well with Ra if he can get Scorched Earth. Just wait until you start removing villains from the game!

The first game was Redeemer Fanatic, Xtreme Tempest and SS Ra versus Miss Info, Plague Rat and the Operative. Despite those being relatively easy villains, it was the hardest game I played all morning, and Tempest was the only one left standing at the end.

Next, my dream team of Super-Scientific Tachyon, Tempest and SS Ra made milksmeat of La Capitan, Greazer and Sergeant Steel.

The last game was the dream team against La Capitan, Greazer and Bugbear. Bugbear is hard, no lie, but he folded surprisingly easily, mostly thanks to a 9-point Scorched Earth at the end. :D The Capitan/Greazer combo seems to be the way to go if I actually want to beat these. Only two to go!

Well, I went and doo'd it again. I'm not even gonna check, here's who I was able to beat with KNYFE, the Naturalist, Parse, Setback and the Sentinels, in various permutations:

Progeny (oh god, it was so easy!)
Plague Rat
Omnitron
Cosmotron
Matriarch
Kismet
Kaargra Warfang
Heroic Infinitor
Voss
Gloomweaver
Skinwalker
Ennead
Deadline
Citizen Dawn
Chokepoint
La Capitan
Baron Blade
Bomber Blade
Apostate
Ambuscade

And not Akash'Bhuta. :| She blowed the Platform up! I got so mad, I fought another game against her with PW Captain Cosmic, KNYFE Rogue Agent, Hunted Naturalist, Guise and Mr. Fixer and won that one.

Also, Legacy, Chrono-Ranger, Fixer, Ra and Tempest beat up the Vengeful Five, and Legacy, F6 Wraith, Super-Scientific Tachyon, F6 Bunker and F6 AZ did it on advanced and actually had an easier time. Now to fill in those blocks!

Had some fun tonight. My friend helped me with my "beat all Vengeance villains on advanced" quest, using Tempest, SS Tachyon and SS Ra to take down La Capitan, Greazer and Biomancer. One to go!

Then, we had a three-player game to introduce said friend to the Oblivaeon promos. Fugue State Parse, F5 Wraith, Xtreme Fanatic and Completionist Guise had an easy time with Gloomweaver in Magmaria.

And the last game didn't add anyone new! :B

After unlocking the Adamant Sentinels today, did a few random games to check out the new dialogue options.

Rogue KNYFE, Setback, Horus Ra, DW Nightmist and PW Argent Adept took Progeny out in the Block. Depiste losing both Knyfe and Ra, I felt like it was a pretty easy fight! (Horus Ra's "put a card on top of the villain deck" incap power proved amazing for shutting Progeny down once his deck was empty!)

Had an amazing game against Deadline. Twelve rounds, Hunted Naturalist and GI Bunker down, and just Prime Wardens Argent Adept holding out like a boss against Deadline and the ever-decreasing horrors of Omnitron-IV. It was a fantastic display of how awesome Argent can be on his own.

And the others don't add anything. :B

I would just like to point out that, despite being the "weakest" hero, Mr. Fixer is now the second hero to hit single digits for number of villains left to beat, behind only Tempest, who's the most played hero anyway. :V I find this amusing.

Super-Scientific Tachyon, Tempest and Setting Sun Ra took out La Capitan, Greazer and Citizens Hammer and Anvil, meaning I have now beaten all villains on advanced mode! XD Now for challenge. :B

I took a victory lap to fill in spaces, with TLT, Fixer, F5 AZ and Greatest Legacy taking out Ambuscade, Bugbear, Greazer and La Capitan in a wild and crazy game. Greazer got eaten by a Skunk Ape! :D It was awesome. You should've been there.

I had been holding off on playing Wager Master until I'd had a chance to play against him in physical form with my group.  Unfortunately, the conclusion was that they hate him and never want to play him again.

In unrelated news, after one literally impossible game and one which I would have won but overlooked a loss condition (and you can't rewind once the loss screen comes up), I hate Wager Master and never want to play him again.

A couple games tonight with friends, to fill in spaces.

First, had one of the easiest Matriarch games ever, with Hunted Naturalist, Xtreme Fanatic, Legacy and Haka in the Final Wasteland. Naturalist was hurting by the end, but Haka rampaged, ate all the birds, and barfed their souls back in Matriarch's face for a 20-point overkill. :V

Then, we took down the Ennead in Magmaria with Termi-Nation Bunker, Xtreme Fanatic, Fugue State Parse and Visionary Unleashed. Realized just how bad some of Parse's normally better cards are against the Ennead. :B

Lastly, TN Bunker, Xtreme Haka, KNYFE and TLT won against the odds when Wager Master stormed into Megalopolis, attracting a lot of police attention.

I was telling myself I was all Sentinels'd out for the moment but NOPE, filling in slots in the spreadsheet!

First, a fight against advanced Unstable Kismet in Silver Gulch (which was a bad choice), with Legacy, the Scholar, Dark Visionary and Team Leader Tachyon. She's actually a challenge, unlike normal advanced Kismet!

Then, three tries to beat advanced Infinitor. The winning combo was Fanatic, KNYFE, Hunted Naturalist, Scholar of the Infinite and America's Greatest Legacy in the MDP. And it was likely the environment that made the biggest difference.

Lastly, only a single try to take out advanced Iron Legacy in Silver Gulch, but booooy what a struggle that was. Legacy, Hunted Naturalist, KNYFE, Omnitron-X and Scholar, and I definitely shouldn't have taken Omnitron, because I forgot about the irreducible damage. :C Poor guy lost his hand on the first round and never did anything useful after that.

Today was a day for advanced fights, to fill in my wins on the stats spreadsheet. Also, this one. :B

First, the easiest game against advanced Kaargra Warfang ever. She didn't flip. Young Legacy, KNYFE Rogue Agent, PW Haka, DW Expat and PW Fanatic won 20-8 in the Temple of Zhu Long.

Then, a surprise first try win against Miss Information, with EoW Bunker, Hunted Naturalist and Young Legacy in the Enclave. Randomizer picked Enclave a lot for me today.

Next, a few tries at Swinwalker and Spite before another surprising victory, against the Chairman. Young Legacy, Hunted Naturalist, Sky-Scraper, SS Tachyon and Wraith were the right choice for a team!

The Dreamer was defeated in the Enclave by Redeemer Fanatic, PW Haka, Scholar of the Infinite and F6 Wraith.

A rematch with Skinweaver bore fruit! KNYFE went down, but Legacy, Hunted Naturalist, Scholar of the Infinite and Fanatic forged ahead! When you need to win, it's worth filling in fewer cells. :B

On to Mad Bomber Blade in the Enclave! Legacy, KNYFE, Hunted Naturalist and EWAZ were a good team, flipping him just before he hit everyone for 10 damage.

A game with Progeny didn't go so well. Another against the Ennead netted me a victory with Young Legacy, the Adamant Sentinels, Hunted Naturalist, Omnitron-X and the Scholar. But it was literally just the Scholar versus five of the Ennead, and 16 rounds later, he won. >:V

The rematch with Progeny went much better, and the secret was KNYFE. She went down, but she did so much damage. Of course, Legacy, Hunted Naturalist and Ra went down, too, leaving SS Tachyon with one hit point, and she was able to Hypersonic for a couple rounds before finishing him off. It was crazy.

Lastly, the rematch with Spite. I used my tried and true Omnitron/Sky-Scraper method to carry Naturalist and Scholar of the Infinite to victory. :V Fun times, except the complete opposite of that.

And I see we're halfway done now. :D I didn't do that! Go, whoever you are! Get down with your bad self!

That was me, but I forgot to post what I did. I decided to play all 16 possible combinations of The Vengeful Five using each hero variant (in the video game) and each environment exactly once. Kinda thought I saw your name in there a bit more than usual. I think the player counter might be broken though. :/

Had a few celebratory games because Shattered Timelines and Wrath of the Cosmos came like a week early. :D

The first one that counts is Unstable Kismet in Madame Mittermeier's, versus Chrono-Ranger, SS Tachyon, Xtreme Argent and Extremist Skyscraper. Turns out her home turf is a good spot to fight her, because Unexpected Obstruction becomes totally useless!

Then, Chrono-Ranger, SS Tachyon, PW Captain Cosmic and Omnitron-U squeaked out a win against La Capitan in the Time Cataclysm. Hunted and Hunted FTW

Ringing in the new year by kicking villain butt! >:V And introducing my friend to Shattered Cosmos as well.

First, Chrono-Ranger, Wraith, Sky-Scraper and Guise kicked Kismet's butt in the Enclave of the Endlings. But that one doesn't count. :B

Then, Chrono, Hunted Naturalist, Xtreme Captain Cosmic and Visionary Unleashed had a trying game versus Deadline in the Block. Naturalist came back from 2 HP to 15 though! No one died!

Next, a bizarrely easy game against La Capitan in the Time Cataclysm, with Setback, Hunted Naturalist, F5 Legacy and Mr. Fixer. She never flipped! Of course, Legacy helping Fixer set up, who then took advantage of certain damage bonuses to kick righteous fury, helped too.

Dreamer was defeated by the Wraith, Fanatic and F5 Legacy in the MDP. End of Days ftw.

Lastly, one more chance to kick Kismet's keester in Dok'Thorath. Poor Setback took a brutal pounding, but he, Hunted Naturalist, Omnitron-X and Visionary Unleashed softened her just enough so the marauding minions took her out. And the heroes are all standing there like, "So do we just leave now, or... or what?"

Xtreme Captain Cosmic is like, my new favorite thing. :B Not as steady a damage dealer as Vis-U, but benefits more from damage buffs.

Our trip through the Multiverse is at an end! Eight games, all of them won, some very tense regardless.

First, Legacy, SS Tachyon, Xtreme Tempest and Hunted Naturalist helped save Dok'Thorath from Infinitor. I credit my decision to play base Legacy with making that game extremely easy. <.<

Then, with sense knocked into Infinitor, he helped Eternal Haka, SS Tachyon, Parse and Setback clean up his messes while being judged by the Celestial Tribunal. Three rounds!

Kaargra Warfang lost 26-10 against Xtreme Fanatic, Haka, Mr. Fixer and the Wraith in the Enclave of the Endlings. And I am never running a physical Kaargra game again, I don't care how much I like her. D:

The Iron Legacy and Progeny games don't add anything to the spreadsheet and aren't worth reporting, save that we won both times and only lost one hero to each. :B Our rematch with the Dreamer went far better, too.

Apostate fell to Fused Captain Cosmic, Omnitron-X, SS Tachyon and Chrono-Ranger in Silver Gulch. It was a challenge game; once I realized the Runes of Malediction meant H card plays, I started dreading every villain turn. But we got extremely lucky, and despite Omnitron dealing some serious damage to everyone by blowing up the wagon (it was either that or let Apocalypse take it out!), it was actually a very easy fight. Still really tense.

Lastly, we beat up Ambuscade in the Enclave of the Endlings, with the Adamant Sentinels, Sky-Scraper Extreme, Haka and Chrono-Ranger. I really felt bad for the guy by the end, even the environment was beating on him. :) I'm sorry I didn't play a Captain Cosmic variant though, because now you can't do a full five-hero game to finish off his column. :B Oh well.

For whatever reason, I got it into my head that it's a good idea to beat as many villains with the Sentinels as possible, so I started with the ones who had the most digital heroes left against them.

The Chairman fell to Dark Visionary, Tempest, the Naturalist, KNYFE and the Sentinels in the Enclave of the Endlings. The game never went the way I intended -- no Indomitable Force, no Brain Burn -- but it was still one of the easier Chairman games I've ever fought. His lack of hitting low helped a lot.

Next, Chrono-Ranger, KNYFE: Rogue Agent, Hunted Naturalist and the Adamant Sentinels were the right team to take Citizen Dawn down in the Block.

I realized how bad the Sentinels are against the Dreamer, with Naturalist and Omnitron-U along for the ride. They both specialize in area attacks! They could nuke the crap out of each other! Taking only hree heroes helped immensely.

Last, one of the craziest games I've ever played. 19 rounds against Skinwalker Gloomweaver, and out of Captain Cosmic, Santa Guise, DW Mr. Fixer and the Adamant Sentinels, only the Sentinels survived. They had excellent team support via incaps, and playing in Freedom Tower didn't hurt. So that's the true power of the Sentinels for you, no Block required!

But, I took down Infinitor in Freedom Tower, with Argent Adept, Eternal Haka, KNYFE Rogue Agent, Naturalist and the base Sentinels. Naturalist went down defending everyone, but was quickly avenged.

Then, sense knocked into him, Heroic Infinitor was helped by America's Greatest Legacy, Santa Guise, the Adamant Sentinels and the newly-reborn Hunted Naturalist... who also went down defending everyone before being quickly avenged. <.< Dude's got issues, all I'm sayin'.

Lastly, a La Capitan game, with DW Fixer, Santa Guise, Haka and the Adamant Sentinels in the Temple of Zhu Long. Idealist was the only casualty of that one, and that right at the final round.

The Sentinels crusade comes to an end, though admittedly without fighting everyone. (I chickened out against Spite. <.<)

I started off with the craziest game ever against Matriarch. Out of GI Bunker, Omnitron-U, PW Fanatic and the Adamant Sentinels, Mainstay was the only hero left alive at the end. She flipped on the environment turn because of Main Computer Room, and then Surprise Shopping Trip came out and literally won me the game. Because she deals less damage on her flip side, every time a bird got played, it was destroyed, over and over and over, and once everyone else was dead, she couldn't touch Mainstay!

Then a fairly easy game against Miss Information, as if such a thing were possible. DR Fixer, Scholar and the Sentinels triumphed in the Final Wasteland.

Omnitron fell to Horus Ra, Omnitron-U, RC Wraith, Absolute Zero and the Sentinels in Pike Industrial. It wasn't that bad a fight, much as I hate Pike Place.

Then a marginally more difficult game against Cosmotron, won handily by KNYFE Rogue Agent, SS Tachyon, Unity, the Adamant Sentinels and Greatest Legacy in Freedom Tower.

The fight with Young Legacy, Nightmist, Scholar of the Infinite and the Adamant Sentinels against Progeny in the Final Wasteland gave me a much stronger appreciation for how the ASents work together.

Had a strangely straightforward game against Wager Master in Wagner Mars Base. EWAZ, Fanatic, Hunted Naturalist, the Adamant Sentinels and Tempest just beat him down.

Lastly, a Vengeance game with Baron Blade, Friction and Proletariat squaring off against the Adamant Sentinels, RC Wraith and KNYFE Rogue Agent in the Enclave. Fun times!

Wouldn't the Adept's base power since he goes before AZ in this case help with that setup issue?   As to that version of Chrono Ranger the change to me just means you hope to get Bounties out quickly and take advantage of it on multiple targets which that setup should have a good amount of.   For Fused Captain Cosmic just a matter of knowing when to blow up Constucts I really can't wait to play in the video game implementation.

Hammer and Anvil, Operative, Greazer Clutch, La Capitan and Ambuscade versus Fugue State Parse, Tachyon, Wraith, PW Fanatic and Haka in the Block. Found out Completionist Guise has massive synergy with Captain Cosmic. He loves using Requital! Fabrication ain't too shabby, either. The final blow was intense: Ra hits Kismet with Inferno to trigger Inconcievable Obstruction, which brings a Crystalloid Behemoth into play, which then starts killing everything, hitting Kismet down to 2 HP, knocking out the Constructs, letting Captain Cosmic ping Kismet for one, and then hitting Tachyon, who redirects that 4 damage to Kismet for the win. Five games, five wins. Advanced Kismet, Advanced Unstable Kismet, Dreamer, Advanced La Capitan, and Advanced Iron Legacy were no match for the F5's crazy-fast setup times and many-small-hits-with-Inspiring-Presence synergy.

(For the curious, the games were in Atlantis, Mme. Mittermeier's, Time Cataclysm, Freedom Tower, and Insula Primalis, respectively. Longest game was Dreamer at 8 rounds due to her finding both Dark Heroes and both Granite Oni in the first two or three rounds. Shortest was Iron Legacy at 2 rounds.)

The F5 brought down Advanced Infinitor at the Enclave of the Endlings. Might have been over a round sooner if the Endlings didn't "helpfully" remove Manifestations to keep Infinitor from flipping -- twice. Once he flipped, however, he went from 55 to 0 in one round.

Next, Advanced Heroic Infinitor stood trial at the Celestial Tribunal. Despite a starting layout full of Miscreations, the F5 were able to wear everything down just in time for a third-round Whispers of Oblivion to clear the courtroom.

Another Villains game: Citizens Hammer & Anvil, Bugbear, Greazer and La Capitan vs. Parse, Young Legacy, KNYFE Rogue Agent and DW Expatriette. My stand-by strategy of using the Final Wasteland to my advantage mostly turned against me in the latter half of the game. (There's nothing quite like playing a game with no Chiquito, though. :D)

Four straight wins for the XTREME Prime Wardens -- Blade at Court of Blood, Mad Bomber at Celestial Tribunal, Omnitron at Mme. Mittermeier's, and Omni-II at Omni-IV.

They definitely play a lot slower than the F5 did (and Haka, especially, feels like dead weight if he doesn't start with Taiaha, Mere, or a Cosmic Weapon from CC), but I'm starting to pick up their tricks -- Kill the Spirit leads to free 5-damage Sacrosanct Martyrs and focused-damage shenanigans from Fanatic's AoE One-Shots, Play With Madness ramps up fast when it's fueled by Rebel Yell, and so on.

Kill the Spirit is one of the most awesomely disgusting powers. Alongside Sacrosanct Martyr, you can do things like turn Chastise and Divine Focus into start-of-turn bombs. I mean, the card won't stay in play, but you weren't planning on keeping it around anyway, were ya?

And Play With Madness has taken Captain Cosmic from my least favorite hero to someone I always want to play. :D

I normally have nothing better to do than sit around and play Sentinels all day, but today I've had really nothing better to do, so I played a few games on Steam and won half.

Captain Cosmic, Santa Guise, the Adamant Sentinels, Fanatic and Bunker won against AoG Spite in the Realm of Discord by sheer dumb luck. By which I mean Guise was going to die after his power use, but flipped Total Beefcake, which caused Spite to take himself out. Amazing.

Miss Information fell to Redeemer Fanatic, Horus Ra and Team Leader Tachyon in the Tomb of Anubis. It wasn't a good game for Tachyon, but pretty easy otherwise, as Miss Info games go.

La Capitan was taken out in the Time Cataclysm by DW Setback, DW Expatriette, Eternal Haka, Dark Visionary and Ra.

An easy game against Heroic Infinitor with Legacy, Unity, DW Setback, Expatriette and F6 Tempest in the Final Wasteland.

And lastly, the Dreamer was defeated by PW Argent Adept, KNYFE (she was supposed to be Rogue Agent, oops!) and the Adamant Sentinels in the MDP.

Also, I had a crazy game against Iron Legacy, where at the start of the first hero turn, everyone had one card in hand and three of the Sentinels were dead. XD We didn't last very long.

Played a little Vengeance this morning for REVENGE. Biomancer, Citizens Hammer & Anvil, Greazer Clutch, Miss Information and Plague Rat fell to... well, Plague Rat, but Omnitron-X, PW Tempest, Fanatic, Eternal Haka and Horus Ra were there in the Enclave of the Endlings. But seriously, I don't think the heroes landed the finishing blow on anyone but Plague Rat, that was all him. :B The victory lap game didn't go so hot.

Also, I filled in a couple slots for the weekly one-shot, since that was Vengeance and it needs all the help it can get.

The one-shot today was fun and taught me how to use Omnitron-X in Vengeance, so I thought I'd do a few random games and try getting over my fear of using certain heroes in that style. I only won 3 out of 7 games though, so maybe those fears are founded. D:

First was a super-close game: Friction, Proletariat, Baron Blade, Fright Train and Ermine against Chrono-Ranger, Fanatic, Wraith, PW Argent Adept and Visionary in Silver Gulch. Fanatic was the last hero standing and was able to take out Fright Train with 1 HP left. Tense.

Next, Nightmist, F6 Tempest, Omnitron-X and the Adamant Sentinels defeated Proletariat, Friction, Ermine and Fright Train in Dok'Thorath. This game was won almost entirely by Nightmist. I mean, you think it's pretty amazing when Omnitron does 3-5 damage to everything via Defensive Blast? Nightmist followed it up with a 4/4 Oblivion. It hurt, but it was awesome.

The last game was the whole Vengeful Five against Parse, Naturalist, Unity, Scholar and Haka in the Realm of Discord. Nothing fun to report there, save that it was surprisingly easy, if not as easy as the previous game.

And, well, now I know Nightmist is worth bringing along, too. :)

XPW took down Grand Warlord Voss in the Final Wasteland. In classic fashion, Haka used Rampage + Savage Mana to shred over a third of Voss' HP in one turn. MVP was probably Tempest, though, whose healing kept the whole team above 20 HP the entire game and later had Gene-Bound Shackles + Localized Hurricaine to slow-burn another third of Voss' HP through his front-side damage reduction.

… Should have done Advanced. :stuck_out_tongue:

Pulled off an insane win against Kaargra Warfang with DW Fixer, Omnitron-U, DW Nightmist and Redeemer Fanatic. Fanatic flips Kaargra with Wrathful, bringing us into the environment turn 19-17. I tried out Arcanist Lupus's thematic Vengeance matchup just now, and it turned out to be a really fun game! :D I used Adamant Sentinels and PW Haka in the name of maximizing cell fillage. The heroes were almost able to take out Miss Info before her first turn; she didn't make it to the first environment turn, at least. Medico was the only Sentinel representing by the end (thanks, Haka), but all the cards fell into the right places and it turned out for the best. :)

Random game: Voss versus PW Haka, Horus Ra, Dark Conductor AA and the Scholar in the Final Wasteland. Easy win. Haka Haka'd for like 30, setting up Ra for a one-two burninate and Wrathful Gaze to finish the game. It's always satisfying to destroy the villain with Wrathful Gaze. :)

The Xtreme Prime Wardens (with Completionist Guise playing the part of Fanatic) took her out in Freedom Tower, because goshdarnit, I wanted to win. :B It was a great game, with Captain Cosmic getting set way up and regularly doing 6-8 damage a turn, Argent Adept being all over the extra card plays, and Guise pulling out two rounds in a row of Blatant Barbarian. Tempest participated. :B

I noticed a bunch of villains who hadn't been defeated by any variant of certain heroes. Time to fix that! Lots of games, so I'll just list them.

The Vengeful Five fell to Guise, Expatriette, KNYFE, Setback and Tempest in the Final Wasteland. Guise has notoriously defeated almost no one in Vengeance style yet.

The Chairman was defeated by Nightmist, Setback, Guise and the Scholar in the Time Cataclysm.

Infinitor lost to the Adamant Sentinels, Wraith, Parse, Tachyon and DW Setback in the Final Wasteland. And nobody died!

Heroic Infinitor was helped by Young Legacy, DW Fixer, TLT, RC Wraith and Omnitron-X in Dok'Thorath. Less than 1200 matchups to go!

Iron Legacy was taken down by PW Argent Adept, Ra, the Sentinels and Sky-Scraper in Wagner Mars Base. It was a strangely easy game, and again, no one died (well, except like, two of the Sentinels).

Cosmotron was destroyed by EWAZ, Horus Ra, Tempest, F6 Unity and F6 Wraith in the Final Wasteland.

Then a few games with friends last night. Baron Blade gave a guided tour of the Block to Fused Captain Cosmic, Argent Adept, Fanatic and Legacy.

Deadline fell in the Time Cataclysm to Chrono-Ranger, Guise, Ra and Xtreme Fanatic.

Lastly, another win against Iron Legacy in the Final Wateland, with Ra, Wraith, Haka and Greatest Legacy. It was all about that last guy keeping us alive.

Family game night was intense. The first game was TNAZ, Setting Sun Ra, Completionist Guise and Sky-Scraper Extremist against Baron Blade in the MDP. Not too wacky, but there were some Guise shenanigans.

No, I'm talking about the epic hour-long game against Voss in the Enclave of the Endlings. Fused Captain Cosmic, SS Ra, Visionary Unleashed and F5 Bunker have zero environment destruction, which meant about 5 straight rounds of Mass Levitation and a couple ridiculous Scorched Earths. To say nothing of Construct shenanigans, Slamara shenanigans... Voss was not much of an issue, is what I'm getting at here. :B

Been a while since I sat down and played a bunch of Sentinels! :V First game was a rematch with Unstable Kismet: Mr. Fixer, Expatriette, Nightmist, Wraith and Xtreme Tempest took her down in the Time Cataclysm, though it wasn't easy.

Next, a fairly easy game against Miss Information, with Chrono-Ranger, KNYFE and Omnitron-X winning in the Mobile Defense Platform.

Mr. Fixer, Ra, DW Nightmist and KNYFE Rogue Agent had almost as easy a time with the Matriarch in the Block.

A super-easy game against Kaargra Warfang! By which I mean she didn't flip. PW Argent Adept, Chrono-Ranger, Ra and America's Greatest Legacy didn't hurt for things to punch in the Enclave of the Endlings, though!

The Dreamer was taken out by Chrono-Ranger, Nightmist and Dark Visionary in Freedom Tower, though she quite nearly took out Chrono-Ranger!

Progeny hadn't been beaten by any version of Unity yet, so Santa Guise, EoW Bunker, Expatriette and Tempest came to Silver Gulch to help her. And she actually won the day! Progeny, with a good 20 HP left in the final turn, plays Beginning of the End, nukes the sole Wagon, gets hit by that twice, then Cryo Bot twice, then Volatile Parts twice! It was awesome.

Lastly, it took me two tries (I spent the first game mining for Sucker Punches when I probably could have Flung him into Darkness instead), but EoW Bunker, Scholar, the Sentinels, SS Tachyon and Redeemer Fanatic beat Wager Master at his own game in the Final Wasteland.

In case anyone's wondering, the (solo) villains left with whole-hero gaps in their boxes are Kaargra Warfang (Captain Cosmic), Miss Information (Expatriette & Setback), and AoG Spite (KNYFE, Naturalist, Parse and Ra). There are too many for team villains to list. :B

It took two tries, but Kaargra Warfang was defeated by Chrono-Ranger, EWAZ, Hunted Naturalist, Tachyon and F6 Wraith. Of course, I messed up, that should have been Captain Cosmic, not Chrono-Ranger. >.< Oh well.

Then, a fun game against Miss Information. I can't say I've ever had one of those! But DW Expat, Setback, and Scholar of the Infinite took advantage of a good five rounds of Immutus and Bloogo to build, build, build, and Setback especially did 17 damage to her from his unlucky pool. I can't wait for Villains to come out digitally so I can find out all the ways I've been playing it wrong. :B Had a surprisingly easy game this morning against Sergeant Steel, Biomancer, Hammer & Anvil, Miss Info and the Operative, with PW Argent Adept, Parse, Omnitorn-U, DW Fixer and Xtreme Fanatic in the Block. That round of super-booster Chat damage was killer, but in the end, only Argent went down, Fanatic somehow holding out with 1 HP for rather a while. XD

Then, the easiest Spite game ever. Parse, Hunted Naturalist, KNYFE Rogue Agent, Ra and Sky-Scraper took him down in the MDP, and honestly I didn't even need Sky-Scraper. Rogue Agent KNYFE was able to get the Potential Sidekick off the bottom of his deck the first round, so I flipped the put-stuff-back drug at the end of his turn and kept him at one drug and 3 victims in the safe house for the whole game. That's how he's supposed to work! (It helped that he played almost nothing but more victims, too.)

Whoops, I lied, Kaargra Warfang was still on the list. :B But no more! It took me like six tries, but I finally beat her with Captain Cosmic, alongside Legacy, Haka, Horus Ra and the Scholar, in Megalopolis. It's always so nice when she doesn't flip.

Next, I beat the Chairman with DW Fixer, F6 Wraith, Santa Guise, PW Fanatic and PW Argent Adept in the Tomb of Anubis. It was a tough game, but no one went down, and Guise had a tremendous turn when he opened his presents and gave the Chairman the gift of about 25 damage in a single turn. :D

Lastly, a cool win against Iron Legacy in the Final Wasteland. PW Captain Cosmic, Argent Adept, DW Expat and Bunker all went down pretty quickly, but DW Nightmist weathered the onslaught, had some excellent support in her downed comrades, and was able to get Paul flipped, at which point the environment kicked the crap out of him, and ultimately took him out. A couple short, fun games tonight to try and fill in some of those non-game gaps.

First, Sky-Scraper Extremist, TN AZ, DC Argent Adept, Visionary Unleashed and Fused Captain Cosmic absolutely wrecked Bomber Blade in the Realm of Discord. I mean, flipped him in 2 rounds, with Absolute Zero churning out damage like no one's business because his first draw was nothing but Modules. When does that ever happen?

Then, Deadline got trashed by Setting Sun Ra, TN Bunker, Xtreme Haka, Chrono BoT and TN AZ. It felt like a close game, thanks to a 7-Catastrophe flip that wiped out more than half the environment deck... and also let Absolute Zero hit back for a good 13 damage, because it just so happened to be the round after he'd used his power. I gotta figure out how the heck Best of Times works, though, he mostly sat around and did nothing once the villain targets were gone. :(

It was a weird game. The heroes spent most of the front side struggling, slowly losing HP while Chrono did nothing useful, Argent did nothing useful, and Wraith wasn't nearly as useful as she could be. Absolute Zero got off one of those crazy turns where he heals himself for 12, but had to back off the Violent Shivers because of the threat of a Voodoo Pin. Then Gloomweaver flipped, and we kind of just murdered him. Suddenly, everyone had their best stuff out and Chrono-Ranger was dishing out damage like there was no tomorrow. I got seven games in today. <.< And I only lost the last one (really need to stop fighting Spite in Rook City, no matter how good an idea it is).

First, a decent win against Kaargra Warfang for Setting Sun Ra, Fugue State Parse, Visionary Unleashed, Santa Guise and Xtreme Tempest in the Enclave of the Endlings.

Then, a couple easy games against Kismet. The standard version was taken down by Sky-Scraper Extremist, Termi-Nation Bunker, Fugue State Parse, Hunted Naturalist and TN AZ in Dok'Thorath, while Unstable Kismet was stopped on Mars by Haka, Greatest Legacy, Super-Scientific Tachyon, Scholar of the Infinite and Guise.

Then a tough fight against Omnitron with TNAZ, Extreme Sky-Scraper, Setting Sun Ra, the Adamant Sentinels and Chrono Best of Times. The Final Wasteland (and Sky-Scraper) kicked the Sentinels' butts. :( (Completionist Guise is the last hero to beat Omnitron!)

Another surprisingly tough fight against Plague Rat in the Realm of Discord. He took Hunted Naturalist down, but TN Bunker, Completionist Guise, Xtreme Argent and Visionary Unleashed picked up the slack.

Lastly, a fairly standard game against Progeny. Again, I lost one, Fugue State Parse, but he wasn't anything Xtreme Haka, Xtreme Argent, Completionist Guise and F6 Tempest couldn't handle. :)

Added my first entry to this spreadsheet, because I'm late to things (though it was just one entry, because I wasn't intentionally setting up a particular game with the not-played heroes).

Challenge Akash'Bhuta vs. Legacy, Visionary, Termi-nation Bunker, Termi-nation Absolute Zero, and Prime Wardens Captain Cosmic in Mobile Defense Platform. I didn't have much damage the first few rounds, but that was okay because Akash'Bhuta wasn't doing much damage either. But once Absolute Zero had Cold Snap with Violent Shivers, Galvanize, Inspiring Presence, Twist the Ether, and Focused Apertures, Akash'Bhuta wasn't able to keep her limbs in play for long. The last round had a near disaster, though. The MDP had stacked the bottom of Akash'Bhuta's deck with limbs, and a lot of them got played via environment target destruction and a badly timed Primeval Eruption. Legacy took a fall, but he granted Absolute Zero another Violent Shivers use, and Cosmic's Augmented Ally let Zero use yet another Violent Shivers at his start of turn, so his eventual Hoarfire play featured ridiculous damage on Akash'Bhuta.

I was happy with how I played PW Captain Cosmic in this game, since I've found it hard to optimize his Absorption usage. When an Entomb is going to destroy all your Constructs anyway, you might as well play a card like Conservation of Energy to draw lots of cards, in addition to Absorption's reactionary play/draws. I almost was able to take out a Living Rockslide immediately via Absorption.

A few more games today because I'm procrastinating on things (and listening to the Letters Page!) I finished of Baron Blade's column: DC Argent, CR Best of Times, TN Bunker, Ra and Greatest Legacy had an easy time with him, go figure.

Then a surprising win against the Chairman with Xtreme Argent, CR Best of Times, Xtreme Haka, TN Unity and Xtreme Captain Cosmic in the MDP. The secret was Xtreme Haka: I didn't realize that, so long as Die Hard is active, he heals from all damage, not just what gets redirected to him. With a first-turn Ta Moko, he tanked all the damage.

Next, a surprisingly easy game against the Dreamer. Doubly surprising when my team consisted of Xtreme Tempest, Setting Sun Ra and Xtreme Argent Adept. I have never gotten so much use out of Wrathful Gaze before! :D

Lastly, a short and brutal victory against Iron Legacy, as they should be. Fugue State Parse, Xtreme Argent Adept and Completionist Guise went down after four rounds, but Xtreme Haka and Extremist Sky-Scraper picked up the slack!

And then I got steamrolled by La Capitan and decided I was done for the day. :C

Hammer & Anvil, Ermine, Friction, La Capitan and Sergeant Steel versus Completionist Guise, Xtreme Captain Cosmic, Xtreme Tempest, TNAZ and Extremist Sky-Scraper in the Final Wasteland. Only Guise went down, but everyone was in dangerously low single-digits by the end, and the only reason the heroes didn't lose was Tempest's healing. And we are three-quarters of the way done now!

The Dreamer was bested by Absolute Zero, Bunker, and Captain Cosmic (all base) in Time Cataclysm. A Surprise Shopping Trip was uncalled for, especially on Dreamer's flip side, and saw Cosmic's demise, and the last round was pretty hairy, but we managed to pull off the win. I suppose I was benefited by a lack of Dark Heroes...

Well, that was crazy. Decided to use the randomizer to select villains for a Vengeance game. Maximizing hero usage gave me Proletariat, La Capitan, Baron Blade, Miss Info and Plague Rat versus the Sentinels, DW Setback, F6 Tempest, GI Bunker and Completionist Guise in Magmaria. That was rough. Idealist couldn't stay in play, Setback couldn't do anything right (thank goodness for Completionist Guise), and we had a terrible time getting rid of the Impulsion Beam, but after Miss Info fell, things started slotting into place. Eventually, La Capitan was flung into darkness, Baron Blade punched himself to death, and Plague Rat ended up taking himself out by letting loose on Writhe. Never a good idea. I'm so glad I don't have to do that again. D:

And then I noticed that game put the Sentinels as one villain short of a hat trick. Also, KNYFE. Who did they need? Spite Agent of Gloom, of course! Sky-Scraper came along in the Freedtom Tower, and it was a long, fairly boring game, but it turns out two dead teammates, allowing for two uses of Block a round, takes care of most of Spite's hits, especially if Writhe is the highest. He was also flung into darkness in the end. :)

Spent the afternoon listening to a podcast and playing Sentinels. Only half the games were wins, but here's what I've got:

First, the Adamant Sentinels, Naturalist, DW Fixer and Captain Cosmic against Deadline in Freedom Tower. Felt a lot harder than it appeared to be in hindsight.

Next, a surprisingly long game against Grand Warlord Voss. Adamant Sentinels, GI Bunker, DW Fixer and F6 Wraith had a pretty easy time with him, though. Gotta love that Panzer-Buster when Voss has all his minions out. :D

Lastly, the Infinitor game was a wash (went from "doing okay" to "dead" in the span of one environment turn), but Heroic Infinitor got helped out by F6 Wraith, Omnitron-U, Guise and Setback in the Time Cataclysm.

And I think that finishes those guys off for video game heroes, at least

Played a bunch of Vengeance this morning. A really rough game against Biomancer, Bugbear, Greazer, Plague Rat and Sergeant Steel nearly ended in a loss for DW Nightmist, Tachyon, Visionary, EoW Bunker and F5 Wraith. It ended up with Nightmist in mist form, watching Plague Rat duke it out with the Final Wasteland. He didn't last long. :B

Then a game that was considerably more rough than I was anticipating. Miss Info, the Operative, Hammer & Anvil, Ambuscade and La Capitan versus DW Nightmist (no one uses her), Visionary, Unity, TN Bunker and F5 Wraith in the Enclave of the Endlings. This time, it was Nightmist, Visionary and Unity who went down by the end.

Last, the Vengeful Five versus Captain Cosmic, Xtreme Haka, Fugue State Parse, Visionary Unleashed and TN Unity in Silver Gulch. That one didn't turn out too badly, if only because no one died. The environment really had me on the ropes, though! Baron Blade and Friction are at single digits each!

Also, I finished off Voss, with F5 Wraith. TNAZ, Ra and Tachyon came along to help. It was brutal. :V

A couple games while listening to the podcast this morning! First, a long, fairly close game against the Dreamer in Freedom Tower, with DW Nightmist, Tachyon and Expatriette. Tachyon went down, but the Projections were cleaned up shortly thereafter.

And then a game to finish off Infinitor's video game column: Legacy, DW Fixer, Bunker and Chrono-Ranger. Turns out, focusing fire on Infinitor and just letting him do his thing can actually work!

I don't even know what I'm doing anymore.

Finally got a Chairman win. It wasn't easy, but the Adamant Sentinels and TLT pulled it off despite losing PW Tempest and DW Expat.

Next, a ridiculously easy game against Kismet in the Tomb of Anubis. Adamant Sentinels, Best of Times Chrono Ranger, DC Argent Adept, Xtreme Captain Cosmic and TN Unity beat her up enough that she was kill by fire challenge. :B

And then I started finishing off villains! Akash'Bhuta fell in a remarkably short amount of time. DC Argent Adept, Fused Captain Cosmic and America's Greatest Legacy helped turn Chrono-Ranger into a one-man earth spirit blender. It was beautiful.

Next, another ridiculously easy game: Mad Bomber Blade versus Best of Times, TN Bunker, Setting Sun Ra and TN Unity in Pike Industrial. 3 rounds! Crazy.

Next, an easy if somwhat lengthy game against Chokepoint in the Time Cataclysm. Even with extra card plays from the Computer Room, she couldn't beat Xtreme Argent, Xtreme Cosmic, Horus Ra and DW Nightmist! Though it was the first time I had her flip in rather a while...

Lastly, one more easy game, this time, surprisingly, against Citizen Dawn. The hardest part was getting enough citizens in her trash to auto-flip her! (I started with three I didn't mind keeping in play...) Of course, it didn't hurt that I was playing F5 Bunker, F5 AZ, Xtreme Argent, TN Unity and Xtreme Fanatic.

And then I decided that was enough for a day. :B

I was supposed to be writing today. I didn't do that. I may not be Sentinelsing responsibly. :(

I had some crazy games today, though. A spectacular loss to Iron Legacy where 60% of my team was down at the start of round 2. A fantastic loss to Matriarch where Chrono-Ranger almost died but Immutus came out and saved him from birds for a round, except he couldn't recover enough to actually hurt Matriarch so he died anyway. D: And then a few worth reporting:

Standard easy game against Unstable Kismet in Dokthorath, with DW Nightmist, Young Legacy, Redeemer Fanatic, F6 Wraith and Visionary. Most of the game was messing with the Talisman once it slipped out of Fanatic's grasp, so she could take all the damage and go Wrathful. :D It worked, eventually!

Then, a surprisingly easy fight against La Capitan in the Tomb of Anubis, with KNYFE Rogue Agent, DC Argent, Best of Times Chrono, Fused Captain Cosmic and Bunker. Nothing special, just regular Bunker. :B

Lastly, a very close game against Miss Information in the Time Cataclysm, with Dark AA, Xtreme Captain Cosmic and Xtreme Tempest. The latter two went down, and it was just Argent, struggling to keep some method of dealing damage in play. But it came down to, discard hand, drop three cards from play, going full-bore with Drake's Pipes and Scherzo. Once on his turn, once on Cosmic's, and did you know Xtreme Tempest has some awful incap powers? He made the Computer Room hit everything for 1, though, which took care of her once and for all.

Few more games this afternoon. First a very long, yet decently easy game against Skinwalker Gloomweaver, mostly thanks to lots of damage prevention on his flip side and F5 Bunker, Completionist Guise, TN Unity, F5 Tachyon and Xtreme Haka.

Next, revenge on the Matriarch! Parse Fugue State, DW Setback, TN Unity, Redeemer Fanatic and Xtreme Haka took her out in the Final Wasteland, despite all the freaking Skunk Apes. D: Parse and Fanatic fell, though.

Lastly, I finished off Omnitron! Completionist Guise brought PW Haka, Sky-Scraper Extremist and Xtreme Captain Cosmic along to help.

Haha, okay, finally finished my current run of doing stuff. I'm probably gonna end up finishing this spreadsheet myself, because no one else cares/the fact that I have nothing better to do with my time than play Sentinels all day means I have dominated the challenge, likely driving others off of attempting, and that makes me sad. :(

Oh well. OCD triumphs.

First, a surprisingly easy victory over Cosmotron in the Enclave of the Endlings, with Young Legacy, DW Nightmist, Huned Naturalist, Redeemer Fanatic and DW Setback.

Then, an unsurprisingly easy victory over Plague Rat in the Final Wasteland, with Xtreme Haka, Xtreme Tempest, TNAZ, Fugue State Parse and Sky-Scraper Extremist. Absolute Zero spent so long trying to avoid taking loads of damage from Infection that when the time came for him to open up, Plague Rat was down to like 3 HP and died to Cold Snap.

Progeny was not exactly easy, but Chrono-Ranger Best of Times helped Xtreme Fanatic, DW Setback, Setting Sun Ra and TN Bunker take him down in the Celestial Tribunal.

The Spite game didn't go so hot, but the AoG Spite game was considerably easier! I got lucky with the randomizer: F5 Bunker, Xtreme Fanatic, Omnitron-U, F5 Legacy and F5 Absolute Zero. He had enough time to get all his Drugs out and realize how little difference they made before the heroes beat his dumb face in. :D

Then, Wager Master had a short, fast and ultimately futile game against Chrono Best of Times, TNAZ, Setting Sun Ra, F6 Wraith and Sky-Scraper Extremist in the Block. Absolute Zero went down by the end, but having Breaking the Rules out all game made for loads of card-drawing fun!

Lastly, a big Vengeance game: Biomancer, Bugbear, Sergeant Steel, Ambuscade and Greazer (the villains with the most heroes left) versus DW Setback, TN Bunker, Redeemer Fanatic, Completionist Guise and Ra. Guise made all the difference, swapping Ra to "kill everything mode", Setback to "be useful" mode, and Bunker to "be really useful" mode before starting up the Fanatic blender and ending Biomancer in two rounds. Ra went down, unsurprisingly, but after Bugbear fell, things just seemed to fall into place. And the environment worked like a charm! :D

Still, Dark Watch Nightmist, Rook City Wraith and Omnitron-U beat Miss Information in the Tomb of Anubis. Nightmist went down in the final round, but that's okay. Omnitron kinda owns Miss Info.

Rough morning, woke up early due to tornado warning, whole day a wash, played Sentinels, learned you shouldn't fight the Dreamer in Madame Mittermeier's.

Got some stuff done, though! First, a close game of Cosmotron versus Setting Sun Ra, Rook City Wraith, DW Fixer, Fugue State Parse and Visionary Unleashed in the Enclave of the Endlings. Ra went down, but not without doing tons of damage first. I think everyone was in single digits by the end.

Next, a ridiculously easy game against La Capitan in the Celestial Tribunal. Setting Sun Ra brought the Imbued Fire, Best of Times Chrono Ranger brought the bounties, and Xtreme Argent Adept, Xtreme Tempest and Sky-Scraper Extremist helped clean up.

Then a pretty solid game against the Matriarch, won mostly by virtue of Smoke Bombs. And variant swapping. Setting Sun Ra, TN Bunker, Completionist Guise, Xtreme Tempest and Rook City Wraith triumphed in the Realm of Discord.

Had an easy game against Spite! Only 6 rounds! I'll have to add F5 Bunker to my list of heroes who can really wreck him. And Sky-Scraper Extremist can really nerf his DR with Proportionist. Super-Scientific Tachyon was present.

Another game against Unstable Kismet in Megalopolis with F6 Tempest, DW Expatriette, Horus Ra, Xtreme Fanatic and TN Unity. Nothing really special there.

Lastly, a win against Iron Legacy! KNYFE Rogue Agent, Guise, the Adamant Sentinels, the Naturalist and Fused Captain Cosmic had an easier time once he flipped, thanks to lots of Retcons and Crafty Assaults.

Morning games turned out well. First designed a Vengeance game that would help me lower Biomancer's count while also finishing off a couple heroes, then finished those heroes off! So it was Biomancer, Miss Info, the Operative, Sergeant Steel and Citizens Hammer & Anvil against Sky-Scraper, Omnitron-X, Chrono-Ranger, TNAZ and Greatest Legacy in the Final Wasteland. And it was one of the easiest Vengeance games I've ever played. I guess it goes to show why those heroes (TNAZ aside) have been used so many times!

Then, to finished off Sky-Scraper, she, Omnitron-U, Tachyon, Freedom 6 Unity and DC Argent took down Unstable Kismet in the Realm of Discord. Another easy game.

Lastly, the unexpectedly easy game: Cosmotron versus Scholar of the Infinite, Eternal Haka, F5 Bunker, DC Adept and Chrono Best of Times in the MDP. I mean, I got lucky with things like stopped Cosmotron's damage dealing right before he played Technological SIngularity, but with the sheer amount of mutual out-of-turn card plays that team has, it was ridiculous. :D

Almost forgot to record my games!

First, finishing Super-Scientific Tachyon off, with her, Horus Ra and Guise against the Dreamer in Freedom Tower. It turned out to be a much easier game than I anticipated, and Tachyon was great for getting extra Projections out for Ra and Guise to deal with.

Next, to finish off Guise now, it was him, DW Fixer, PW Haka and DW Expat against the Matriarch in the Time Cataclysm. I got stupidly lucky (she put all three Darken the Skies in the trash first thing), and it ended up being an easy game, finished with her on her flip side.

Lastly, a second shot at finishing off Nightmist saw her, PW Fanatic, DW Setback, Scholar of the Infinite and Horus Ra taking on the Vengeful Five in the Final Wasteland. It was a pretty easy fight, all things considered, mostly thanks to a first-turn End of Days. Of course, she's also not done yet, she has to beat Spite still. :B Fun.

Felt like playing a little today. Finished off Nightmist by taking her, DC Argent and F5 Legacy against Spite in the Time Cataclysm. Argent and Legacy proved to be a fantastic combination, and Argent Adept actually ended up doing most of the damage!

Then, two games to finish off F5 Wraith. First, Cosmotron versus Sky-Scraper Extremist, Tachyon, F5 Wraith, DW Expat and TNAZ in the Final Wasteland. It was a pretty solid challenge, but the heroes triumphed and no one died. :)

Lastly, more Spite, this time EWAZ, Scholar of the Infinite, Redeemer Fanatic and F5 Wraith in the Enclave. That was a fast, surprisingly brutal game, and both Wraith and Fanatic were taken out by the end.

Had a very depressing Vengeance loss yesterday, which I have since made up for! :V TLT, Xtreme Argent, PW Fanatic, Santa Guise and PW Haka took down Biomancer, Bugbear, Hammer & Anvil, Sergeant Steel and Plague Rat in the Final Wasteland. Getting Santa Guise to work in Vengeance play, you need someone to give him out-of-turn power uses, because you're not likely to get many presents over the course of the game. But once he got started, there was no stopping this team. :) Grinding it down!

Been focused on other things besides playing, but I have some podcasts to listen to today. I took down Biomancer, Hammer & Anvil, Ambuscade, Bugbear and the Operative with Argent Adept, GI Bunker, the Adamant Sentinels, F5 Legacy and Xtreme Haka. Let me just say, that was a fantastic team, it was a fairly easy victory. Bunker helped take down Biomancer quickly, especially once Bastion came out. Argent Adept started with Inspiring Supertonic, meaning we got two extra card plays a round off Legacy. And Haka spent the entire game just setting up and keeping Idealist alive, which was important, because she got targeted by a whole lot of stuff. But using the AA/Legacy engine to power the Sentinels' ridiculous AoE resulted in massive victory. :D

Had a game tonight with Mom. We used the spreadsheet to set up a fight between Citizen Dawn and Completionist Guise, Xtreme Captain Cosmic, Termi-Nation Bunker and Xtreme Tempest in the Enclave of the Endlings. It was a long, stressful game -- 10 rounds! -- but the heroes prevailed in the end. I played Captain Cosmic like a champ, switching back and forth between his forms with Guise to ensure I was always in the right situation to best help. The Constructs survived That Card, and an Augmented Ally on Tempest meant that, once everything was built back up, the heroes were regaining as much health as the villains lost. It was great. :D

I've been taking the Termi-Nation through all the villains slowly. So far, only lost two: Chairman, no surprise, and, ironically, Chokepoint. <.< Shoulda brought someone else. But that means the occasional slot filled!

With the help of the Sentinels, Termi-Nation took down La Capitan in the Enclave of the Endlings, in a surprisingly easy game.

Then an unsurprisingly easy game against Deadline, with Hunted Naturalist supporting. Coolant Blast is extra-good when you're fighting someone who regularly does lots of fire damage!

Then came the really crazy game: the Dreamer versus Termi-Nation and no one else, on the Mobile Defense Platform. Things were going poorly: Unity was slowly setting up, but the heroes were taking too much damage. Absolute Zero and Bunker went down in the same round before the Dreamer even flipped, and Unity was left with 1 HP. No way I could win, right?

Well, I won. :D Unity at 1 HP was protected by Stealth Bot at 1 HP, because Dreamer was mostly just doing 1's. The occasional Meteor Storm certainly helped, but bit by bit, I was able to wear the Projections down, mostly by sacrificing bots for Volatile Parts to do its magic. I would have lost the Challenge version (after getting 6 Projections under her, one more bot died, and she got smacked with VP), but hot damn, that was an insane win!

Had another crazy win tonight against Infinitor. PW Captain Cosmic, Absolute Zero and Unity went down on the same turn, leaving Bunker alone with 1 HP. He got a little healing, played a card, did some last-ditch damage with the Omni-Cannon while shouting a war cry and all that. I'm agonizing, because Infinitor's down to 4 HP going into the environment turn...

And then he comes up on the target selection screen for the Time-Crazed Prisoner. Who is going to deal exactly 4 damage.

Well then. :D Suffice to say it was a very satisfying comeback!

Finished with Termi-Nation! Found out some interesting things, like they're darned good against the Matriarch, and beating Kaargra with TNAZ is gonna be a hard sell. Also, why do I keep losing to Plague Rat? D:

With Captain Cosmic in tow, they helped out Heroic Infinitor in Siver Gulch. One of the hardest Heroic Infinitor games I've ever had!

Then they beat up the Matriarch in the Block, with Super-Scientific Tachyon assisting.

Next was a win against Progeny (seriously, and not against Plague Rat?) in the Time Cataclysm. KNYFE and Unity went down, so it wasn't exactly clean, but oh boy can AZ dish out the damage if he gets a power usage before his turn.

Then, a Wager Master game where I literally did nothing but double-skip and won. They took the right amount of damage to Win by the Odds on the second villain turn, and then a Meteor Storm came out, and Wagey didn't stand a chance. Guise supervised.

Lastly, a fight against the Vengeful Five, with Legacy and TLT in tow. Felt like it took a while, but it was nice smacking Proletariat for 10 cold in one go. :) I mean, you just never get to hit him all that much. (And that netted a whole 3 wins on the spreadsheet. <.< And most of the rest were Absolute Zero.)

Been stressed, so I thought I'd relax with a few hours of Sentinels and trying to fill in some heroes. It worked pretty well! First, a stupidly easy game of Greazer, Friction, Plague Rat, Sergeant Steel and the Operative versus DW Fixer, TLT, Adamant Sentinels, F5 Legacy and PW Haka. Legacy made that game work, though really, between a first-turn Grease Gun, Heroic Interception, Ground Pound (and potential Hypersonic Assault, which I never saw), the fight was a complete rout. The villains didn't stand a chance.

Next, a bit more of a challenge as Miss Info, Biomancer, Bugbear, La Capitan and Proletariat went up against Legacy, PW Captain Cosmic, TLT, Scholar of the Infinite and PW Fanatic. A lot more fiddly, but it worked out in the end.

Last Vengeance game was Hammer & Anvil, Fright Train, Plague Rat, Sergeant Steel and the Operative versus Legacy, DW Expat, Fixer, Eternal Haka and Ra. Ra was the MVP, with a first-round Drawn to the Flame ensuring he dealt 4 damage to everything every round.

Next, the easiest Miss Info game ever, starring Legacy, the Adamant Sentinels and Visionary. I just don't know what went right! (Well, it was Lead from the Front + Fortitude + villain only does 1 retaliation damage...)

Then another Miss Info game that was considerably harder, but still ended with Eternal Haka, Ra and Tempest alive and (mostly) well!

Legacy, Fugue State Parse, Rook City Wraith, Xtreme Captain Cosmic and Completionist Guise won to the odds against Wager Master at the end of his second turn. :)

Lastly, Unstable Kismet was taken down by DW Fixer, Ra, Tempest, Rook City Wraith and EWAZ in the Enclave of the Endlings. Got to do a 7-points Scorched Earth at one point! :D

Spent all day playing Sentinels again for some reason. c.c Got to experience the ignominy of a sudden, swift sentencing of the Earth to destruction, for one! I've never felt so blindsided in this game. I mean, compare to the loss against Iron Legacy: he started with +3 damage, beat down half my team, there was no way I was gonna win. But La Capitan suddenly pulls out a double gut-punch to America's Greatest Legacy, and it's just Game Over, and I'm sitting there like "...What?" Amazing.

Anyway, the victories start with Miss Information being defeated by Sky-Scraper Extremist, EWAZ and Tachyon in Megalopolis. Sky-Scraper wrecked her with just a single Hypercortex Stimulator. One to keep in mind!

Then, DC Argent Adept, PW Captain Cosmic, F6 Tempest, GI Bunker and Sky-Scraper Extremist won a close battle against Kaargra Warfang in Freedom Tower. I'm talking "won by two points". We actually had to beat down Kaargra herself! A hard-won victory.

Next, a somewhat close win against the Matriarch. Horus Ra went down in the last turn, but PW Captain Cosmic, Sky-Scraper Extremist (again!) and PW Tempest managed a crazy win. MDP Sky Deck helped!

Then I pulled off a fun win against the Dreamer with Chrono-Ranger Best of Times, Visionary Unleashed and Xtreme Haka. And no, I didn't save the record of that AoG Spite game where I misused CR's variant power. <.< This one was played right.

Lastly, Heroic Infinitor was helped out by the Xtreme Prime Wardens, because the randomizer rolled four of them and I figured, why not? Of course, they were repayed for their kindness by him playing his entire deck in the first two turns. It was just a game of "buckle the heck up and hold on for dear life"!

Everyone but Ra went down in the final (third!) round, but he was able to keep enough Staffs around to stay in the game, and do basically exactly enough damage to take Angry Paul down. My rematch didn't go so well. I blame Santa Guise. :| So I took my frustrations out on some hard solo villains and, uh, that turned out pretty good! :O

Like I said in another thread, Driving Mantis (and Twist the Ether) was the reason DW Fixer, Tempest and Visionary took AOG Spite down with minimal trouble. He was hitting them for 1's and 2's constantly, and there was pretty much nothing he could do to hurt the heroes more than they hurt him. Tempest is great against Spite!

Next, regular Spite had a really bad time against the Adamant Sentinels, Xtreme Captain Cosmic and Setting Sun Ra thanks to a turn-one Imbued Fire. I barely saved any Victims, he flipped too fast, but it didn't matter!

Then, Miss Information got a taste of why you don't mess with Mr. Fixer in the Tomb of Anubis. F6 Wraith and Santa Guise got to watch him Driving Crowbar all over her face, until she fell into the spikes. And then everyone was like, "Ooh, eesh," and just kind of shuffled awkwardly away.

After that, I had a stupidly easy game against La Capitan in the Enclave of the Endlings. Completionist Guise got the Xtreme Fanatic blender going, and it was smooth sailing all the way through. Visionary Unleashed, Tachyon and Expatriette helped! Though Expatriette kind of got torn apart :(

Lastly, a crazy game of TN Bunker, Xtreme Haka, Xtreme Captain Cosmic, Xtreme Argent Adept and Chrono Best of Times in the Block. The environment kicked more butt than everyone else combined; Char had two titles by the time the game was over! The turning point was Haka's 15-ish favor Rampage/Taiaha turn that got him Indiscriminate. Once Kaargra flipped back, we were set.

I tried a couple games in the video game this morning before heading out on a road trip. Used the random button for both.

A nemesis match between Dark Watch Expat, Dark Watch Setback, GI Bunker, and Visionary went poorly as the entire team went down thanks to Tyler Hayes and a double-Explosives-Barrel chain. Bunker clearly shouldn't have wiped the board of citizens using External Combustion earlier that round. Dawn was down to 29, I might have won if I'd held off on that for another round.

In my second match, Termi-Nation Unity, Redeemer Fanatic, and Prime Warden Captain Cosmic laid waste to Grand Warlord Voss in Pike Industrial. A couple of early Vat Explosions were a little rough and Unity took forever to set up, but we were able to heavily lean on Fanatic. Undaunted + Energy Bracer stopped a lot of minion damage, then Stealth Bot came out just in time to shut down the Trisolvent Vat. I left that vat out for the rest of the game. Every round, Fanatic regained 4 HP from a Vitality Conduit, got to use base power and Absolution thanks to a Dynamic Siphon, and PWCC healed the constructs back to full with the Crest. So, I got to keep Divine Focus out and was still gaining HP. Unity finally got set up and helped deal some damage late in the match to finish Voss before I got buried by Forced Deployment.

Unity finished at 11, PWCC at 14, and Fanatic at a robust and un-Fanatic-like 23.

Tried (and succeeded!) to finish off a few villains today. And a few heroes!

First, a crazy game against Skinweaver the Enclave of the Endlings, with DC Argent, Xtreme Captain Cosmic, Fugue State Parse, Setting Sun Ra and F5 Legacy. That Legacy variant is so good, until you run out of cards. XD

Then a two-round game against Heroic Infinitor with DC Argent, Fused Captain Cosmic, Sky-Scraper Extremist, Visionary Unleashed and Completionist Guise. Infinitor played two of his hit-everything one-shots the first turn, so Visionary Suggested them back on top of his deck. Great victory!

Next, a crazy-easy game against Cosmotron in Megalopolis. Fused Captain Cosmic, F5 Tachyon, F5 Absolute Zero and Completionist Guise were, yes, helped out by F5 Legacy. I was actually able to keep Cosmotron from flipping for the first few turns, then doubled-down on the Hypersonic Assaults and Next Evolution/Lead from the Front!

Lastly, another try to finish off Vengeance Blade that actually worked! Dark Visionary, Xtreme Captain Cosmic, Xtreme Tempest, Young Legacy and Santa Guise took out him alongside Ambsucade, Greazer, Fright Train and Proletariat! The key was getting Guise multiple out-of-turn power uses. I got lucky with a first-turn Dynamic Siphon, then followed it up with an Augmented Ally when it got tired. Guise was opening stacks of 5 gifts after just 2 rounds!

I finished off Fright Train! Ermine, Sergeant Steel, the Operative and Greazer couldn’t save him from the combined might of Completionist Guise, PW Tempest, KNYFE Rogue Agent, Rook City Wraith and GI Bunker!

The game against Proletariat didn’t go so well, so I decided to finish off DW Nightmist instead. First, she brought the Naturalist, RC Wraith and Omnitron along to take down Spite Agent of Gloom. It was a long, somewhat painless fight, where the heroes weren’t dealing a lot of damage, but Spite was dealing even less. I’ll have to remember to use Smoke Bombs against him more often, since Wraith is usually going to get the most benefit from them.

Then, DW Nightmist, GI Bunker, DW Setback and Dark Visionary played an insane game against the Chairman. It was almost an hour long, mostly thanks to dual Twist the Ethers on the True Form and all 15 environment cards in play in short order. Zhu Long beat down the thugs, resurrected them, and beat them down again, while barely touching the heroes. He straight murdered the Operative, dealing 8 damage a round to her for a while because the heroes were doing pretty poorly in the HP department. Setback and Bunker went down and were resurrected multiple times, until Bunker was finally able to get some plating out, which helped him weather the assault of the poisoners. Visionary spent a lot of time cocooned, dealing 1 damage a round to the Chairman for zero retaliation. Nightmist bided her time and finished things off with an Oblivion on the environment’s turn. The ninjas watched.

Finished off Rook City Wraith this morning! First, she took Omnitron-U, TN Bunker, Expatriette and Xtreme Fanatic along to take out Plague Rat, La Capitan, Greazer, Ambuscade and Bugbear. Expat and Fanatic went down, but Omnitron was MVP, dealing tons of AoE damage and soaking most of what Glamour threw back at the heroes. (I also finished Omnitron-U off! :O)

The second game was against the Dreamer, with Sky-Scraper Extremist actually not making a mess of things and Freedom Six Bunker knowing when to put out consistent damage and knowing when to heal.

Lastly, I decided to cut my losses with Proletariat and left Unity for another game. Instead, Captain Cosmic, Absolute Zero, Redeemer Fanatic and Setting Sun Ra brought Best of Times Chrono-Ranger with them to take out Proletariat, Ermine, Greazer, Sergeant Steel and the Operative. The Operative is murder on Constructs. :C But Absolute Zero and Ra brought the AoE goodness while Chrono and Cosmic played super-good support. It couldn't have gone any better!

I played a little this morning! Just more Spite games to knock his numbers down. First, Sky-Scraper Extremist, Completionist Guise, DW Expatriette and Xtreme Haka versus Agent of Gloom. It was a stupidly close game: if Haka hadn't taken Spite out with his power, Spite would have won.

And then a regular Spite game, almost as crazy, with Omnitron-U helping out Xtreme Haka, Completionist Guise and Fugue State Parse. Turns out, Completionist Guise and Haka make a good team against Spite!

Felt like a little Vengeance action after finishing last night's Sentinels Live stream, so I had DC Argent, Fused Captain Cosmic, Santa Guise, PW Tempest and Horus Ra take on Ermine, La Capitan, Operative, Ambuscade and Friction in the Temple of Zhu Long. First, holy crap, won a Vengeance game with Santa Guise! Number two, Temple may be my new go-to for Vengeance wins. It's great being able to guide the ninjas to attack things, and I magically never saw the True Form. But mostly it was a damage race between Ra and Tempest, fueled by Argent Adept, with Ra probably winning thanks to Imbued Fire and Scorched Earth. Finished off the Operative with a ninja!

And now Ermine is done and Santa Guise just has to beat Unstable Kismet! :O

Word to the wise: Completionist Guise loves Captain Cosmic, especially Requital. First round, you let him get a bunch of Constructs on the board, then switch him to Xtreme and use Requital yourself for at least one good card play. And then it's damage-damage-damage all the time! Seriously, I had him dealing upwards of 15-20 per round, Xtreme Captain Cosmic is insane. :D

So yeah, it was Requital CC day. :B Finished off Citizen Dawn with him, Dark Vis, Fugue State Parse, Greatest Legacy and Completionist Guise because being cheesy is fun. :D

Deadline was taken down with a combination of FCC, CG, DC Argent Adept, FS Parse and Xtreme Tempest. And that was a legit team from the spreadsheet! :B

Last, the Ennead fell to FCC, Legacy, Ra, Tempest and Completionist Guise because, again, cheese. :V

Had some time to myself today: MORE SENTINELS! Just the usual attempts at clearing villains.

First was a decently easy fight against AOG Spite with Best of Times Chrono, Tachyon, DW Setback and Omnitron-X in the Court of Blood. It was pretty trivial, getting around his drugs, though HP got pretty low toward the end.

Next, I'm reporting an older game because I hadn't realized Xtreme Captain Cosmic was the last slot for Ambuscade and not Fused. It was a fun game, played with physical cards with friends, and I remember it because Ra's first play was Flame Barrier, and I just kept stacking Wounding Buffers on him. Every time something hit him, it was annihilated. XD

Next, Deadline was taken out super-fast by Xtreme Argent, Sky-Scraper Extremist, Parse, Legacy and GI Bunker! He even flipped twice!

Easy games were the hallmark of the day, including the fastest Miss Information game I've ever had. Chrono-Ranger BOT tore her apart! Absolute Zero and Visionary Unleashed helped. :B

I had another fast, easy game with Spite in the Tomb of Anubis, with F5 Tachyon, Visionary Unleashed, TN Unity and Omnitron-X. Omni was there to do what he usually does: stay ahead of the put-back drug. With a single Twist the Ether on Spite (Visionary took the other for the damage boost), he was mostly dealing 1's that were soaked by Stealth Bot. Unity had so many bots out that I quite nearly took him out before he flipped (never done that before!) And when it got to the final turn, it was, "Oh! I have enough Burst cards in the trash to Blitz him to death!" It was almost over before it started.

Last was an actual challenge: Finishing off the Chairman with Fused Captain Cosmic and Dark Conductor Argent. I brought Greatest Legacy along because he's about the only hero I can think of who's actually good against the Chairman, and Completionist Guise because he's got tremendous synergy with both CC and AA. It was a long fight, but careful balancing of HP made sure the Final Wasteland focused on the villains more than the heroes. :) And that's every villain up through Deadline finished!

Got a few rounds in this morning, trying to finish stuff off. First, Captain Cosmic, Tachyon, Freedom Six Unity, Wraith and Sky-Scraper Extremist had an easy time against Miss Info, Bugbear, Plague Rat, the Operative and Proletariat in the Enclave of the Endlings. Stealth Bot was key, and then Bloogo came out to protect her, and it was just kind of a slow rout for the heroes. :V And Proletariat's done!

Next, time to finish off Santa Guise. He, TN AZ, Argent Adept and TN Bunker took on Unstable Kismet in Wagner Mars Base. It was a rough game; Absolute Zero ended up being the only hero left, but he was way able to stay ahead of Kismet's damage, even without Violent Shivers. Also, oddly, Kismet has 4 variants left to be defeated by, but only two heroes!

Lastly, I decided to test the might of Completionist Guise, taking him, Xtreme Captain Cosmic and Dark Conductor Argent Adept against the Dreamer in the Celestial Tribunal. It was the easiest Dreamer game I have ever had. Took a while, but no challenge at all.

Yesterday, I tried to finish off the Wraith and Sky-Scraper Extremist. It didn't go so well. Today, I played the exact same game, merely switching the environment from Final Wasteland to Enclave of the Endlings, and one of the villains for Plague Rat, and I won handily! The hardest part was keeping Sky-Scraper alive, because Thorathian Monolith is just too good in Vengeance. But PW Argent Adept, F5 Tachyon, Wraith, SSE and TN Absolute Zero won over Ambuscade, Greazer, Bugbear, Plague Rat and Sergeant Steel. Though I need to check and see if I misused the Monolith/Smoke Bombs combo...

EDIT: Yeah, I did, but I think the end result would have just been everyone's HP down in the low teens/high single digits, instead of Sky-Scraper hovering around 2 and everyone else in the high teens and twenties.

I'm getting back into the swing of this, picking up some of the leftovers I can do in the video game.  Dark Watch Setback, Prime Wardens Tempest, and Golem Unity managed to save the Dreamer in the Temple of Zhu Long.  She's really not bad at all with only 3 heroes, despite all three doing their level best to kill themselves, especially in a generous environment.  Unity's Golems actually got kind of dangerous--I'll have to remember not to play too many of them next time, since they ran out of projections to chew on.  They and The True Form (which came out 3 times!) were the biggest danger the team faced.

I actually played a recordable game with friend! :O Xtreme Argent, Fused Captain Cosmic, Visionary Unleashed and Completionist Guise won against Infinitor in the Temple of Zhu Long. It was one of those games where you feel like nothing is going your way for a long time, then suddenly you win. Guise got a fantastic turn when a ninja broke him out of a Crushing Cage just in time for him to Sell Out. And then he swapped Captain Cosmic and unloaded on Infinitor so another ninja could take him out. :V

I guess I've played these high-end villains enough that I have beating them down to a science? c.c First, an easy game against Spite AOG with Horus Ra, Fugue State Parse, F5 Tachyon and Omnitron-X. The secret is to let Tachyon build up her trash, then fling a few LSBs at him and Blitz him to death. Because otherwise, he'll retaliate and kill her instead.

Next, an easy game against Miss Information with Setting Sun Ra, Expatriette and F6 Tempest. Expat went down, but even with that, it was an easy win. That always makes me wonder if I played wrong.

Lastly, an easy game against Matriarch with Visionary Unleashed, Absolute Zero, Chrono Best of Times and Fused Captain Cosmic, and I cannot actually take credit for this one. She spent the first four rounds messing around with Horrid Cacophanies and Cohorts and Darken the Skies that did nothing (after I Suggested her mask onto the bottom of her deck in turn 2!), so it was just a matter of setting up and unloading. I got super-lucky with her cards, Chrono's cards (By Any Means right off the bat, followed by barrier-breaking Masadah power) and Captain Cosmic's (setting up Chrono to deal tons of damage per round). A Wrest the Mind caused an Inmate to hit Matriarch for 13 at one point. Chrono finished her off with a single plink. :B Why can't they all go like that?

Under 200 matchups left!

Somehow KNYFE: Rogue Agent tracked down Miss Information in Silver Gulch and confronted her there with the help of Bunker, Termi-Nation Unity, Dark Watch Setback, and Haka.  Nearly lost Setback due to me not having a good feel for how he works (I've only played him twice now), but otherwise it was pretty easy.  Bunker got double-isolated (who cares), and only then did Miss Information get out a Suspicious Malfunction, when KNYFE pulled out a second Suspicious Malfunction.  Sadly Ground Pound doesn't protect against much of what Miss I. has to throw at you (stupid self-damage), but Stealth Bot does, and Termi-Unity makes it inexhaustible.  The Sheriff, after sitting there waiting for her to show up the whole time, ended up being the one to put her down.

PW Argent Adept, F5 Tachyon, KNYFE Rogue Agent, Redeemer Fanatic and Bunker had no troubles with Ambuscade, Biomancer, Hammer & Anvil, La Capitan and the Operative! Played a few games.  First, I tried to fill out some of Kaargra's list with Termi-Nation AZ, Argent Adept, Bunker, Dark Watch Setback, and Termi-Nation Unity.  Utter failure.  Tried about 5 times, just couldn't do it.  Closest I came was when I had the 20 points and a big enough blast built up on TNAZ to finish off Kaargra, except she'd picked up The Unbreakable (as a freebie).  She never managed to incap any of the heroes (mostly thanks to TNU's perpetual Stealth Bot recycling machine), and I got the 20 points nearly every time, but we could never get her off the board.

So, I split the team up.  First, Unity and Setback were replaced by The Sentinels and Greatest Legacy.  First turn double Team Communication, Durasteel Chains, Human Shield, Gung-Ho, Counterpoint Bulwark, yadda yadda, easiest win ever.

Second, Dark Watch Setback returned with F6 Bunker and F6 Unity along with the Sentinels again, and Prime Wardens Fanatic.  Didn't get Human Shield this time, so not as easy as I'd hoped, but still got a nice clean win: I was barely losing at something like 15-13 with 4 gladiators in play.  Fanatic had an End of Days, which would have been an instant 5 points (earning Death-Caller as well as 4 kills), so I just had to finish off Kaarga and earn another point somewhere.  Turned out not to matter: Bunker got to use Grenade Launcher 4 times that round, once with a Hasty Augmentation, so he earned plenty of points almost all by himself.

Next, AoG spite was challenged by team Termi-Nation, with Haka and F6 Tempest.  It's all about getting into a groove with him, and I failed to do so on the first try, with almost no victims coming out.  Second try was good, though: Stealth Bot with TNU is always good for defense, especially with Cleansing Downpour, and then I figured out that Ground Pound and Sub-Zero Atmosphere makes for an infinite loop.  I had just gotten out an even better infinite loop (two Ground Pounds and two Reclaim from the Deeps) but had already won; TNAZ is a damage-dealing machine when he doesn't have to worry about self-defense.

Finally, The Matriarch fell to the Argent Adept, Golem Unity, and F6 AZ, with the help of the Adamant Sentinels.  Standard defensive tactics won the day, as usual (Counterpoint Bulwark, TK Thump, and eventually Stealth Bot), although double Cohorts came out early and more than earned their keep.  Super-slow game in the app, once again leaving me wishing for a "Yes to all remaining prompts" option.  She made a last-ditch effort with the last two cards in her deck, wiping out 8 ongoings in 2 rounds, but with 8 HP left I could still Fling her Into Darkness.

Couple more that took me a couple of tries.

First, I tried to finish off the video game options for normal Spite by taking Termi-Nation AZ, Termi-Nation Bunker, Prime Warden Captain Cosmic, Dark Watch Setback, and Prime Warden Tempest.  Big fat nope there--they just don't have enough damage mitigation.  Swapping out Tempest for the Wraith did the trick, though: AZ used his power to deliberately commit suicide and get access to his "reduce all non-cold damage by 1" incap while CC and Wraith collected Energy Bracers and Stun Bolts.  Setback's Mitigate kept some incidental damage from getting through until they achieved total lockdown.

Second, Iron Legacy... fortunately, all he had left was two Unities and two AZ's, so I got to assemble the rest of the team to go with them.  First I tried my usual damage mitigation schtick with the Sentinels, but obviously it's been a while since I fought Legacy because that was a horrible idea.  The second game went excellently, though, with the help of Visionary, Redeemer Fanatic, and the Scholar of the Infinite in the Temple of Zhu Long.  Lots of ongoing removal there, and I got nearly the golden chain of Mysterious Ceremonies (all 3 in 2 rounds).  Unity went down, but with all those bonus draws and plays, they achieved two rounds of lockdown with triple Flesh to Iron and Alchemical Redirection.  My plan had originally been to win with a Wrathful Retribution--that's how I win most of my Fanatic vs. Iron Legacy games--but it just refused to come out, while Know When to Cut Loose was much more accomodating.

Almost done with the video game set!  Just the other Unity and AZ left for Iron Legacy, 2 different Bunkers for Miss Information, 4 heroes for AoG Spite (which I'll likely tackle today or tomorrow), and a few scattered single heroes for the rest.  Hopefully Villains of the Multiverse will come out in the video game in time for us to finish them off before OblivAeon's physical form reaches us.

The last video game heroes to face AoG Spite were... Horus Ra, Golem Unity, Argent Adept, and Freedom Six Bunker?!  Wow... every other one has been leftovers that were really hard to win with.  This one's nearly ideal, just missing one component, which, happily, there was a slot left for.  Visionary filled out the squad, making them doubly near-invincible (Twist the Ether+Flesh of the Sun God on one hand, which I had on turn 1, Stealth Bot+Counterpoint Bulwark on the other).  Upgrade Mode and Inventive Preparation left plenty of extra plays for ongoings to get bounced.  Golem Unity, thanks to Flesh of the Sun God and Imbued Fire, was able to summon all the bots she wanted with impunity.  Only drew one Raptor Bot, but it was dealing 10 damage a round by itself.  It was an absolute slaughter.  Only the environment did a little bit of damage, and everyone finished at 20+ HP.

And Iron Legacy's video game foes are also done: Termi-Nation Unity and F6 AZ were actually really helpful, with AZ wiping out most of the ongoings and Unity's bots dealing the lion's share of the damage.  Hunted Naturalist was, for once, utterly useless, but what made this a cinch was Tachyon starting with a Hypersonic Assault and a Lightspeed Barrage in hand, and another Barrage she played off the bottom of her deck.

Man, Kaargra is just the worst.  I went to finish off her last video game hero, Termi-Nation Unity, with her, and since her allies didn't matter I went for overkill with Legacy, SS Tachyon, Omnitron-X, and Scholar.  And at the end of round 2 it was going great--one gladiator left with 1 HP who'd been Assaulted and couldn't deal damage, score was 5-11 in my favor.  Then Kaargra gets Bloodsworn Judgement, Get Back In There, which brings back Idesa the Adroit, who picked up Stonejaw, Fickle Fans, and all of a sudden it's over at 20-7.  It's just not fun when that happens, there was really hardly anything better I could have done.  In retrospect it would have been smarter for me to not kill any gladiators at all so Get Back In There wouldn't grab them (Idesa had been Assaulted, too), but I would have been fine if virtually anything else had happened there.  Ugh.

Rematch went cleanly, though.  Wiped out all the gladiators in round 1 just to make sure Kaargra played only two cards instead of 3, then wiped the floor with her in round 2.  Final score 3-30.

Alright, jerks, I'm back, let's do this. :V

Made a single attempt this morning, which turned into a ridiculous to-do and a slow, squeaky "there's no way they can win" victory for DC Argent, Fused Captain Cosmic, F5 Absolute Zero, F6 Wraith and the Naturalist over Miss Info, Hammer & Anvil, Greazer, the Operative and Sergeant Steel. It ended with Citizen Hammer and the Operative versus AZ and the Naturalist, who was just untouchable (minus the huge Thermal Shockwave blowback he ate thanks to Indomitable Force). The environment was the only thing that killed heroes: Smoke Bombs plus Naturalist as the highest is an amazing combo. The last turn was Naturalist eating through two Scorching Snaps so he could do a single damage to the Operative and take her out. No waiting for the environment to kill-steal! >:V

According to the new posts page, no one's posted here all day (until right the heck now), which made me antsy. D: It's Captain Cosmic time!

First, I finished off the Dreamer with Fused CC, Scholar and Redeemer Fanatic in the Final Wasteland. It was a fairly standard Dreamer game, all things told. (Don't Dismiss Anything into an End of Days kind of sucked, but it could have been worse.)

Then I had a terrible game against Infinitor: 3 rounds, totally smoked the heroes, no way we could win. I then turned around and did the opposite to Kismet: 3 rounds, totally stomped her, no way she could win. Xtreme Fanatic, Xtreme Tempest, Fused CC and a randomized Setback had a field day.

Lastly, I said 'nah' to a bunch of potential matchups and instead took on Plague Rat with Xtreme Fanatic, Fused CC, Setting Sun Ra, DC Argent Adept and Chrono Best of Times in Megalopolis. It was a brutal game. Chrono's last play was Hunter and Hunted, so he was dealing 8's to Plague Rat, but all of a sudden, literally everyone was Infected, and with an Afflicted Frenzy on the board! No one actually died, but I think Chrono would have if not for Ra's super-powered Drawn to the Flame. Whoof.

He brought Best of Times Chrono Ranger, Xtreme Tempest and Sky-Scraper Extremist along and, wow, that was a total rout. Between AZ and Chrono, Spite didn't stand a chance, and only had four drugs out when I killed him. :D I finally did it!

Next, to finish off Miss Info, Fugue State Parse took Omnitron-U and DW Fixer to Freedom Tower. It wasn't exactly easy, but they turned out to be a great team.

Next, taking the fight to Plague Rat was Xtreme Captain Cosmic, with Omni-U, Legacy, F6 Wraith and KNYFE RA assisting. Ol' Ratty didn't stand a chance. But then, he wasn't meant to. :B

Then, some Vengeance! Miss Info, Ambuscade, Greazer, La Capitan and the Operative faced F6 Tempest, Bunker, DW Expatriette, the Naturalist and Fanatic in the Temple of Zhu Long. They actually had to bring Fanatic back to life at one point (wanna bet she wasn't happy about that?); otherwise, none of the heroes fell.

Lastly, Hammer & Anvil, Biomancer, Sergeant Steel, Plague Rat and Proletariat (who had no reason to be there!) took out Dark Visionary, F6 Tempest, DW Expatriette and Fanatic... but not Haka. That was a really close game. D:

Next, Agent of Gloom Spite attacked the Block, and Omnitron-X brought DC Argent, Fused Captain Cosmic and Visionary Unleashed to help kick his kiester. Oddly familiar team, that...

Lastly, DC Argent, Xtreme Captain Cosmic (different!), Setting Sun Ra and Visionary Unleashed brought KNYFE along to kick Progeny's butt and OH BOY is the Court of Blood a really great place to fight him. No healing means Scion of Frost is useless, and no radiant damage means he's mostly helpless on his flip side. Great neat secrets discovered!

Had some fun this morning. First, I finally took out Infinitor with those last five heroes. It was NOT easy. Parse and Argent went down, and in the end, it was "We're gonna lose by 3 HP, oh wait, I can hit Infinitor with the self-damage from Embolden, now we're gonna lose by 1 HP, oh wait he killed himself." Seriously, I'm not sure they would have lasted that final round otherwise.

I cleared Kaargra Warfang with Completionist Guise and Fused Captain Cosmic, alongside Legacy, Fanatic and Tempest. Tempest with Seeker and Living Weapon was the reason the heroes won, given that Kaargra flipped twice. Final score was 14 to 30-something, I kind of lost count.

Next, I pulled out Bunker to take on Trickster Kismet (since that's apparently what she's called now!) And after rolling both vanilla Wraith and vanilla Legacy, I said heck with it and just took the whole Freedom Five along. It was a pretty easy game, no surprise there.

Lastly, I took on La Capitan with DC Argent, Legacy, Xtreme Captain Cosmic, Xtreme Haka and the Wraith in the Tomb of Anubis. It was a pretty standard La Capitan game, all things considered.

Still can't beat Iron Legacy with those last few heroes, though...

No surprise I've been playing a bunch of Vegeance games recently! Not actively trying to fill in the spreadsheet, but picking off bits here and there when I can.

First, well first win anyway, was La Capitan, Proletariat, Baron Blade, Ambuscade and Greazer against Chrono-Ranger, Unity, PW Tempest, F6 Wraith and Sky-Scraper in Silver Gulch. That one was pretty easy, I think.

Next, Greazer, Miss Info, Ambuscade and Hammer & Anvil against PW Captain Cosmic, EWAZ, F6 Unity and TN Bunker in the Final Wasteland. That one I remeber definitely that it ended with Greazer and Ambuscade out of the game, the latter ending it. :D

Then, a bunch of Miss Info fights because I'm going through checking out all the nemesis dialogue. :B First, her, Sergeat Steel and Greazer against Legacy, AZ and Horus Ra in the MDP. Another easy game!

Next, Miss Info, Greazer and Biomancer against Young Legacy, Horus Ra and Nightmist in the Tomb of Anubis. That was a close game! I ended with all heroes standing only because I left all the Trials in play and bounced their damage off Nightmist onto Biomancer. D:

Lastly (man, a lot of these games don't count), Miss Info, Friction, Ermine, Bugbear and La Capitan against Tachyon, Dark Visionary, EOW Bunker, Legacy and AZ in Magmaria. (I rolled Magmaria a lot today...) Absolute Zero ended up dying to Crystalloid Behemoths, but he made a good show of it. Tachyon finished the game with a Sucker Punch!

We're down to the last percentage point!

A few more. Well, a whole bunch more, but only two count for the spreadsheet. (And not the one that I would have won had the Arsonist not decided to blow up the Mobile Defense Platform...)

The first one I set up ti finish off the Operative: her, La Capitan, Miss Info and Proletariat versus Mr. Fixer, PW Captain Cosmic, F6 Bunker and DW Setback in the Final Wasteland. Pretty easy game, all things considered, thanks to Fixer and a few Dynamic Siphons.

The other was Plague Rat, Biomancer, Ambuscade, Ermine and the Operative against Eternal Haka, Scholar of the Infinite, Sky-Scraper, Absolute Zero and Unity in Pike Industrial. Lots of damage. So much damage. Everyone died but Haka, it was kind of amazing.

Played a couple games today. Tryna finish off them non-game heroes now that all the released villains are (technically) in the video game.

First, a long, dull fight against the Matriarch. DC Argent and Xtreme Captain Cosmic brought Omnitron-X and Scholar along, which is good, because they're the only ones who made it out alive. With Defensive Displacement out for a number of rounds, no one but Omnitron was dealing damage, and though he hit Matriarch a few times with his Plasma Cannons, it all came down to about four or five Grace Under Fires, turning the tide of birds against the big birdy lady.

Next was a Vengeance game that didn't go so well, but the one after that did. Unity, Best of Times Chrono-Ranger, Xtreme Tempest, Setting Sun Ra and Xtreme Haka prevailed against Bugbear, Friction, Hammer & Anvil, Sergeant Steel and Greazer in the Enclave of the Endlings. None of the heroes went down! Haka kept Unity and Chrono alive for a while, Tempest dealt all the damage, and Ra, toward the end, said "Screw it" and unleashed a Solar Flare-powered Blaze of Glory on everyone, including himself.

There are 14 matchups of each type left. DAWN OF THE SECOND DAY

At last we're done with Agent of Gloom Spite! He was taken down by Xtreme Argent Adept, Captain Cosmic and Tempest, with Sky-Scraper observing.

Also, Wager Master fell to Xtreme Argent, Fugue State Parse, Ra and Super-Scientific Tachyon. He was defeated via Sucker Punch! :D

TakeWalker told me about this, so I decided to try it out by tackling PW Tempest's last entry: Spite.

Short story shorter, using PW Tempest, Legacy, F6 Tachyon, H2H Ra, and PW Fanatic, I played 2 Take Downs with Legacy and decimated Spite in 3 rounds. The poor guy didn't stand a chance.

With all the new stuff shipping, it's high time we finished this!

First, Fused CC, F6 Wraith, EWAZ, Visionary Unleashed and Setting Sun Ra took down Miss Info, Bugbear, the Operative, La Capitan and Proletariat in the Temple of Zhu Long. And that didn't even finish anything off!

Next, I finished Spite by having DC Argent and Fused CC join Omnitron-X and Sky-Scraper in the Tomb of Anubis. Almost didn't work: everyone but Omnitron died. D:

Lastly, Fused Captain Cosmic took Xtreme Haka, F5 Legacy, TN Unity and PW Argent Adept along to take Progeny down in the Final Wasteland. It was a strangely easy fight.

La Capitan is done! Fused Captain Cosmic took along Rook City Wraith, Fugue State Parse, the Adamant Sentinels and TN Bunker to the Court of Blood to take her down! I'd do more, but getting my new computer working is taking a lot more effort than I'd anticipated. :|

I said when I finally unlocked Trickster Kismet on digital, I'd finish her off on the spreadsheet. It happened tonight! EOW Bunker brought Fugue State Parse, TLT and DW Setback along to the Tomb of Anubis for a rough fight that nevertheless ended in a (close) victory! 4 solo heroes to go, and I am way bothered the spreadsheet has rounded up to 100% done. :|

I don't quite have the wherewithal to finish the spreadsheet tonight, but we're close.

First... well, first was an ill-fated Vengeance game. <.< BUT THEN! The Matriarch was taken down by Xtreme Argent, Haka, Scholar and Omnitron-U in Silver Gulch. It was a shockingly easy Matriarch game, thanks to Haka locking down everything. Mostly with his mouth and/or pants.

Then, Xtreme Captain Cosmic brought PW Tempest, F6 Wraith, Setting Sun Ra and Haka along to take down Miss Info, Biomancer, Bugbear, the Operative and La Capitan in the Enclave. That is how you get things done!

Lastly, the team was Miss Info, Ambuscade, Hammer & Anvil, the Operative and La Capitan versus F5 Legacy, Chrono Best of Times, Tempest, DW Setback and Xtreme Fanatic in the Temple of Zhu Long. It was a fairly easy win, though Legacy went down. Figures, since I brought him along to balance out Setback. <.<

We're down to 3 Vengeance matchups and 3 Iron Legacies. D: That's gonna be kind of hard to finish...

Vengeance is DONE. Despite bringing along Tempest, Setting Sun Ra and F6 Wraith, Fugue State Parse and Xtreme Captain Cosmic still had a heck of a time against Miss Info, Sergeant Steel, Plague Rat, La Capitan and the Operative. Mostly because Steel at one point did 12 damage to Ra in a single hit. c.c That's just not cool!

So, anyone got tips for beating Iron Legacy? My usual strategies are not working. :B

I've come to the conclusion that it was going to take more than one game to finish this thing off. I was right.

My go-to Iron legacy-killing team is Fugue State Parse, Chrono-Ranger and Haka, and I just so happened to roll Freedom Tower, so I played all three games there.

The first, with Xtreme Captain Cosmic, went swimmingly. It was a textbook Chrono-Ranger victory over Iron Legs. The only thing that went wrong was Captain Cosmic pulling too much damage off a Harsh Offense and hitting Haka. But it didn't matter.

The Setting Sun Ra game didn't go so well. :C

The Visionary Unleashed game fared little better, but Parse was able to stand alone and finish him off with the help of her friends. Mission Control leaves an Impossible Shot on top, Haka and Visionary die on Legacy's turn, and then it's Quick Calc to put Impossible Shot on the bottom, play it with her power, induce Legacy to hurt himself with Visionary's incap, and play another Impossible Shot off Chrono-Ranger's. Just enough damage.

So we're down to one matchup.

Who will defeat Iron legacy with Setting Sun Ra to claim ultimate glory?

Or at least a little glory.

I hope it's someone else. :B

Not sure anyone is still tracking this, but having unlocked Setting Sun Ra this morning in the video game, I beat Iron Legacy with a team of Wraith, Tempest and Setting Sun Ra this afternoon in Magmaria.

Lol, I think I was on my 4th attempt in a row, but the first one that didn’t require serious ongoing removal before I could actually make any impact. I thought I had him the time before when he went down to 4hp and defeated Ra and I thought I could use Ra’s incapacitated power that does 10 and removes him, but he still had Superhuman Redirection out… If he didn’t heal up, I think I could have used the other power to beat him.

Got him eventually though!

Would you count only the heroes who started the battle, or those who finished it without being incapped, or all of them? Too much complicated.

EDIT: And would you count Scions, or would you count… (There’s a lot of different things to track. Especially if we get Environments into the mix (which would be a truly complete speadsheet)

Make it “OblivAeon’s Turn” and play the games necessary to have him destroy every environment and incap every hero.

Seriously, just add the 22 new heroes and variants to the existing table. Dealing with scions and incapped heroes would be a mess indeed.

Before the most recent update, I'd figured it would be a matter of listing all the Scions and letting those determine the battle stats, but ugh, I think there's too much permutation. This is probably something the community should start figuring out how to track, though, for the statistics project if nothing else.

I think if it was done based on starting Scions pairs it would add a fair number of lines (Scion 1 is 1/5, but scion 2 could be any other Scion), but you could probably just list out each Scion as a single line each (so OblivAeon effectively adds 11 extra villains - perhaps just 10, as you can’t fight a Scion without fighting OblivAeon?).
