So, Oblivaeon introduces a wide range of new ( ? ) heroes ( ? ). I'm sure I'm not the only one to wonder about what they are like and how they play. Why not a thread where we accumulate all the publicly revealed information about them?

Well you have a list of base and variant powers now with the foil collection released.
The 5 OblivAeon heroes, Stuntman, and Benchmark all have the same Nemesis symbol, which I assume is OblivAeon himself.
The four Void Guard heroes retain the Sentinels/LA Capitan symbol.
Luminary will have "devices" in his deck. I assume they will be targets.
Dark Watch Harpy references Control Tokens, which intrigues me.
Akash'Thriya mentions "primordial seeds" and has a ton of hp. My guess is that these will be targets and the character card will be damaged if they are destroyed.
Hard to infer anything about LA comodora, Lifeline, Stuntman, or Benchmark from their powers, except Stuntman may have some way of triggering a power out of turn.
Idealist mentions the keywords "figment" and "concept." This feels like a complicated deck, along the lines of Argent adept.
Writhe has a "shadow cloak." What will it do?

It seems that Mainstay has some sort of destroy own stuff to do stuff effects
It appears from both versions of Stuntman that his thing is dealing damage outside of his own turn. The Void Guard seem to be pretty damn cool, and Writhe seems to have adopted the rather villain-like mechanic of pulling out a specific card to start the game with, his shaodw-projector. We see that sort of thing in tons of villains (Baron Blade and his Mobile Platform, La Capitan and her ship, Kismet and her stone thingie, etc), but no heroes have that, only regular naturalist comes close with his ability to pull one of three form cards.
I'm very intrigued to see how Luminary works, since both his variant powers reference Devices. Up till now, Devices have been the sole purvey of villains!
Akash'Thriya not only mentions Primordial seeds, but she puts them into the Environment Trash, so I can state the obvious that she interacts heavily with the environment, but I suspect she is going to be a slow set-up type of hero, who fills up the environment trash and probably has a power to shuffle the environment to allow her cards to get played and activate during the environment turn.
My guess is that the Primordial Seeds work similarly to Ambuscade’s traps: when they get shuffled into the Environment deck and they come up to the top, or get played, things happen. Probably powerful things, because that might take a while. Here’s an extrapolation: I bet Akash’Thriya has some mechanism to cause a shuffle of the Environment deck.
Writhe I think will be really interesting. His very low health suggests that the Shadow Cloak does something to mitigate or redirect much of the damage that he would otherwise take. But the fact that his power is to go get the Cloak also suggests that the Cloak offers him offensive powers, because the base power is not useful when you already have the Shadow Cloak in play. What those offensive capabilities are…I’m really curious!
I'm guessing that Idealist's "Figments" and "Concepts" are projections (targets) that she can create and then refine. So first she puts a figment into play, and then she plays a concept on it to give it more focus (and boost its abilities).
that would be an awesom mechanic for a hero! Though I'm not convinced. It could be that Akash has some relationship with e environment. I also think that she damages herself somehow, but currently it's hard to fathom. I'm also really curious about writhes deck. I'm almost thinking the cloak has hp, and gives him immunity? That al last seems too strong, however considering his low hp, I'm not sure.
Well, if you assume she plays similar to her villain version, it could be she damages herself when her Primordial Seeds are destroyed, like how Primordial Limbs work. Presumably the "put Seeds into environment deck" mechanic represents that she's weak and incompletely restored, and so needs to give her limbs time to "grow" first.
In that vein, here’s another theory: maybe Akash’Thriya’s deck has “Primordial Limb” cards, but they all have text like Unity’s bots reading “this card cannot be played during your play phase.” Then, all “Primordial Seeds” are copies of the same card and say, “When this card enters play from the Environment deck, Akash’Thriya may play a Primordial Limb. Then, destroy this card.”
It turns out I misread the card. They're not "Figments", they're "Fragments". Are they fragments of her Oblivion Shard? Who knows?
Probably something like fragments of thought that she's imagining into full-fledged concepts. Given her power's name, it sounds like her deck's themed around imagination becoming reality.
That's not too surprising, given that that's exactly what her power set seems to be - pretty much every card depicting her in the original Sentinels deck shows her imagining glowy blue things to attack people (or help them, in the case of heroes ;)).
Looking at Akash's deck again, Primordial Seeds can't be a means to get Primordial Limbs into play, ala Unity. Her variant has her Primordial Seeds in play do damage, so they have to stay in play.
Also, I strongly suspect that Akash has some way, probably multiple ways, to shuffle or stack the environment deck. Otherwise, if you have to put Seeds into the environment trash, it would take far too many turns for anything worthwhile to result ( waiting for the entire environment deck to cycle ). Either the ability would be too weak for a base power, to the point of uselessness; or else the Seeds are so awesome that a ten turn delay is "balanced", and the game completely breaks if you have any means to speed the process. Either way, not good design. So, she either has other ways to get Seeds into play, or she has ways to cycle/shuffle/stack the Environment deck.
Akash does have 50/40 hp depending on variant, she could be long game focused.
For those of you that saw McBehrer's post here and are confused about why it is no longer here, I deleted it, as it contained playtester priveledged information. If he posts such information again, I will be forced to strip him of his playtester status, and possibly ban him. I would hate to have to do that.
I am saddened that this is what I am posting on the forum currently. I'd rather be posting fun new story stuff or sneak peeks at what's to come.
