Oblivaeon shipping?

Is Oblivaeon shipping before than expected? Got a "Last Call" email to confirm my address and I'm getting my stuffed shipped with the main game (I think!)

Yes, the foil packs just missed being shipped before Gencon, which is why they weren't for sale at Gencon.  OblivAeon is still in production.  With all the heroes we unlocked and the sheer number of cards involved in the OblivAeon format I doubt the art is even done yet.

Just the foil heroes pack.  OblivAeon won't be until early next year. 

That's when the rest of the stuff, like the variant pack, will ship as well?

Yeah, variant pack will ship next year with everything else.

Huh, So I got Oblivaeon and the non-foil hero pack (plus stretch goals, of course). I thought that I would get everything shipped together with Oblivaeon.

I imagine they are nailing down all addresses before sending out the Foil hero packs to those who pledged for it.   If you didn't get the Foil hero pack then there is nothing shipping to you yet. 

I backed the Kickstarter at a level that includes the Foil hero pack, and haven't received any email. (From GtG - I received other emails both today and yesterday.)

Unless your address changed since you entered it in through BackerKit I wouldn't be too concerned.  If it has I would access the BackerKit page to update it.

I'm under the impression the first round of mailings is going to be all the non-Oblivaeon stuff, i.e. the previous expansions, core game, etc., along with the foil pack. Or are foils going first-first? Will I end up with an entire box of character cards I will be unable to use? XD

It's the Foil cards shipping.   Not sure offhand when they intend to send the pre OblivAeon sets.  

Hopefully, given the recent email, there will be a KS update soon. Anticipation of getting the game has only been keeping me going since January! :B

I got a notice last night from Fedex.   As far as I can tell I've never gotten a shipping notice from GtG.   I get it from Fedex because I made an account and have it setup to send me an email when shipments are being sent to me.  I think GtG should probably add this to their FAQ as this comes up everytime GtG starts shipping out preorders and KS stuff.

Anyone from Canada got a shipment notice? Also, how long should I wait before I contact them?

I got the notification from trackingupdates@fedex. The message names Greater Than Games. Sorry for being unclear about that.

Interestingly, I got a second notice this morning, and I’m a little unsure which things these are! I have, on order, OblivAeon w/foil stuff, Spirit Island, Exoplanets, and New Bedford. I figure the 5th Anniversary hero cards and New Bedford are the most likely items here, though I wasn’t really expecting New Bedford until late in the fall. Whatever they are, I will look forward to getting them next week!

Glad they are being shipped. Haven't gotten any shipping notice but hope they come by Friday as I leave for college Saturday. But anyway can't wait to get them.

Also is there a way to buy things like the Foil Villian Box. I didn't have the money at the time but still want to get it. 

Just got my shipping confirmation today- and I went ahead and ordered 200 sleeves since this is the only thing I actually intend to sleeve... Other than the Oversized Foil Villain Cards, but I don't have to worry about those for a few/several months. Speaking of which, does anyone know of good sleeves for that size?

Here are the sleeves folks have used / suggested for sleeving the oversized villain cards. They're soft, not rigid, but given these cards are never shuffled or anything they work very well.

Did you buy two sets of foils so you can display the incap side just by flipping the frame?

I was hoping to just have it visible on both sides, so I can spin it to show both sides-- sort of like a clear backing sleeve. You're right, though, on inspection, this wall does not seem to actually have a clear spacer; you'd need two photos, one for front, one for back.

Is there any way to stop having GtG shipments coming through FedEx Smart Post?  It adds three or more days to the delivery to get the package and with the Xmas sale you had last year it almost ended up with a completely lost shipment.  

Well, instead of driving the short 2 hour drive to my house, FedEx decided to send my package in the opposite direction.

Not yet. Going by previous experience, I expect US orders will be fulfilled first.

I got the shipment notification on Monday.  I was a little worried as it intially said it would be there Saturday and I am out of town until Monday.  Today the estimated delivery is now Monday so felling a lot better about it.  Exoplanets can't possibly be ready yet so it has to be the foil heroes.

I finally got a notice today.

Looks lke they sent it on the 17th and it should arrive on the 23rd.

Hopefully I get it by the 21st, because after that classes start and I won't have nearly the time for drooling.

Foil cards and sleeves both due to arrive tommorrow.  I will try to post some squeeing and general bragging when they arrive.

My sleeves I ordered aren't in but the fedex tracking lists the foil cards are out for delivery today.

SmartPost is annoying in that it takes longer, but GTG did gve us free shipping in the US so I'm OK with them using the method that saves them more money ('m assuming, I really hope its significantly cheaper, considering the delays).

Personally, I ship Oblivaeon with Gozer. They just seem like they'd fit well toget- oh, we're not talking about that kind of shipping, are we?

Lucky; mine's ETA isn't until next week... And it's Smart Post, so my local inept USPS branch will be handling it. I'm tempted to ask them to hold the package at the post office so that the postal worker doesn't try and smash it into a much too small mailbox (which they've done with packages multiple times in the past...)

My original FedEx notice said estimated to deliver next week. However, I just checked the tracking and it shows that it will come with my mail TODAY!!

Well, I'm a little bummed out. My foil package was supposed to arrive today. USPS claims that it was delivered to my mailbox. Went to check, and it's not there. Been on the phone with USPS/Fed Ex, neither of them can find it. Checked with my neighbors to see if it might've been put into their mailbox by accident, but no luck there.

I'll reach out to GtG to see if there's anything I can do, but I really hope they don't use FedEx Smart Post when they deliver the rest of OblivAeon.

When "Rest of the World" starts reporting in that they have received copies.

Looking at the list of backers on Kickstarter, they're somewhere between 5000 and 6000 backers who are getting foil cards. (And it's not counting preorders) So...it might take them a while to ship all those out

Hopefully I'll find mine before then. :(

I don't suppose it would be possible to add other purchases from the >G online store to our OblivAeon shipment to cut down on shipping costs?  I was planning on waiting until the next time I saw their booth at a con to pick up some of the mini-expansions, but now I sure want to pick up Guise sooner rather than later!
