Foils vs. Hero Variant Pack

Hello, I am new to this forum and a long-time fan of Sentinels of the Multiverse!  I am really looking forward to the OblivAeon expansion coimng out soon.  I plan on pre-ordering the expansion with either hero varaint pack or foils.  Howveer, I am not sure on one thing.

The Hero Variant pack makes clear that it includes all variants, including those of the new heros from OblivAeon itself.  Does foil also include all the variants, or just the ones already released?

The variants pack is the Foils pack, but with no foil, so the Foil pack is also every hero ever, so all the unreleased OblivAeon heroes and variant/minipack heroes announced during the kickstarter will be included too.

OK, I've pre-ordered OblivAeon vs. Foil Heroes on Backerkit, but I have another quick two questions.

I saw an old post saying the Backerkit is closing down on the 20th... of last month.  Yet, it was and is still open and I have ordered.  What's up with this?

The kickstarter page says Foils ship in July, but if you order off of kickstarter.  I did backerkit.  Would I be correct to assume I'm not getting it until January 2017?

Couldn't be happier with the reponse I got.  My questions were answered less than anhour after sending the e-mail.

The post claiming the backerkit was locking down May 20th was a miscommunication; It's still open and anyone can order, but will close down for real once they get closer to shipping.

Also, Foils ordered via Backerkit are going to be shipped in July!

There's one point that I don't think was correctly communicated above: the Foil Hero Collection in fact includes MORE cards than the Complete Hero Variant Collection. The foil set also includes foil versions of all the standard (non-variant) heroes. Presumably that's not going to sway you away from buying the foil set.

With alternate art, too!

Oh I knew that much.  Just another reason to get it, of course.  I'm so excited for the early arrival!

Wat, OK, I have one more question.  I didn't even read that my order of OblivAeon vs. Foil Heroes includes stretch goals!!  I didn't even know there were Stretch Goals!  So that means in ADDITION to OblivAeon AND the Foil heroes, I'm also getting:

Omnitron-U, Fugue State Parse, Stuntman, Extremist Sky-Scraper, Fort Adamant, Captain Cosmic Variant, Visionary Unleashed, a Comic Book, Nexus of the Void, Completionist Guise, Luminary Variant, Dark Watch Harpy, Benchmark, Stuntman Variant, Supply and Demand Benchmark, Spirit of the Void Akash'Thriya, Curse of the Black Spot La Capitan, and more?!!!  All the way up to the Void Guard variants and the F5 variants?

I don't think I've heard yet, but just how many cards are in the foil and regular variant packs?  I've tried counting, but I'm doing something wrong since I get a different number every time.  I want to get sleeves for the foil cards and basically just need to know if it's more or less than 100 (since that's one pack of sleeves).

Seriously can't wait to get my mitts on those cards.  I'm almost wetting myself in anticipation.

Also, are they the same size as base cards? So I can purchase the sleeves

It's more than 100 cards for the foil heroes and yes it is the same size as the normal character cards.  

Although I imagine their egos are quite a bit bigger.

True though those sleeves will stop them from getting out of hand.  

You don't even want to deal with Foil Guise.

So, figuring I might be able to give a more exact answer I dug around for the post I made at the end of Oblivaeon's Kickstarter where I tried to lay out everything we were getting.

I'm 90% certain the foil pack comes with a single copy of every single hero and every single variant, new and old.

We got 11 new heroes, each with a variant. (22)

And I just got to the part of my post were I already did this math once before

Previously I had 110 cards in the foil pack and 67 cards in the hero variant pack. I shall stand by my previous work.

I imagine they would be more humble than their normal variants. Seeing as how they’ve all been foiled.

Sounds like I'm going to need more sleeves then.  Good thing I can get the simple ones for $1.

Interesting. My count is 109 and 67.

Assuming the 67 is correct, that leaves either 42 or 43 for base character cards.

Heroes:

Base: 10

RC, IR, ST, WC: 2 each for 8

Vengeance: 5

Mini-expansions, pre-OblivAeon: Unity, Scholar, Guise, for 3

OblivAeon and additional mini-expansions: Luminary, Commodora, Harpy, Akash'Thriya, Lifeline, Stuntman, Benchmark, Void Guard, for 11 

The Sentinels use three extra and Sky-Scraper uses 2 extra for 5

That's 42.

Now, if you want to print and sleeve Cleverest Legacy, that could get you to 110. Otherwise, am I missing one?! 

Also, the question to how many heroes does it take to save the Multiverse is, apparently, 42.

Right. There was some question whether this would be foiled, but it was confirmed it would be in the video.
