OK, there are four different Backerkit pre-orders I am considering, but I need to explicitly understand the exact differences with what comes with each:

https://sentinels-of-the-multiverse-oblivaeon.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders/43578

  • OBLIVAEON vs HEROES (Foil & Non-Foil) COLLECTED - $139
  • TOTAL OBLIVAEON - $249
  • THE ENTIRE MULTIVERSE - $399
  • EVERYTHING EVERER! - $499

What does each level have that the level before didn't?

Thanks.

Ahhh, that makes sense - only with the Entire Multiverse do you get the whole card set of all the cards, it kinda of seemed you got that in earlier levels, but now I see that you don't.

What are  the Art Print Set (special playable cards??), the BBQ Grill Promos (more playable cards?), and the deck building game, all in the topmost tier?

Further questions: with the Entire Multiverse:

  • Does the Ultimate Collector's Case come preloaded with the cards, or do we load it?
  • I am thinking that the UCC will carry ALL materials from all released SotM products including Oblivaeon, yes?
  • Do the cards come already sleeved or with sleeves?
  • Do the cards fit well in the Ultimate Collector's Case if they are sleeved? Is there enough extra wiggle room in the case to accomodate sleeving?
  • Are there any playable variants, promos, or other playable SotM cards that are not included in the Entire Multiverse tier (apart from possible the BBQ/Art Print set whatever they are)?

Thanks.

I left the link so you could investigate for yourself.

To answer your questions as best I can

  1. No.Shipping cards like that would be horrendous for them.
  2. Yes
  3. No
  4. You jest.
  5. No

Art prints are prints of art, no card text.

BBQ grill promos are promos for other games.

Oh! BBQ grill is not SotM, that is very good to know.

I thank you for your insights - one last question (I think - not promosing anything, grin!):

Why do I jest? Is it because

  • *of course* GtG would leave enough space for sleeves because it's obvious players would do that? Or of course that would work because sleeves add negligible dimensions?
  • Or contrarily because *of course* adding sleeves to cards would increase the necessary volume beyond anything GtG could engineer, and therefore DON'T plan to sleeve any cards that are going in the box?

I would really prefer to have the one box to rule them all WITH sleeved and protected cards...

He says you jest because that was the most frequently asked question from the Kickstarter that it has become a running gag at this point.   Yes, the Colletctor's box will fit sleeved cards and they are going to test it on their prototype with a few different varieties.   It will have foam blocks included too for those who choose not sleeve or still have space after sleeving cards.

Oh, thank Uni! That's a relief. By the way, is there a cut-off date for ordering this? (I'm probably going to get the Entire Multiverse level)?

I mean there has to be a cut-off date, but I didn't see one?

I'm not fully sure on that one.  I thought they were locking it down last month but it appears to still let you make preorders.

And welcome to the forums!

Apologies for being so short in that second post, I was in a library and my time was about to run out.

Yeah, the only thing that won't fit sleeved is the digital version.

-gasp- The digital version won't fit sleeved? President/Monarch/Supreme Ruler of Everything everer Guise is going to hate that.

Also, if you sleeve the Ultimate Collector's Case, you cannot fit it inside the Ultimate Collector's Case.

Nevermind that you couldn't fit it unsleeved, either.

Sleeved Mr. Chomps will also not fit.

What about sleeving sleeved cards?

Sleeve a card enough, and it will no longer fit in the known universe.

I know you're joking, but KMC makes their Perfect Size sleeves specifically to fit inside other sleeves.

But you know your cards will be well-protected from typical hazards of tabletop gaming like meteor showers.
