Hi everyone,
I did a search for this and couldn't find the answer. Has anyone figured out how many cards this game will have in the end? I am ordering sleeves for it tomorrow and I want to get enough extra to sleeve Oblivaeon and all of the extras when they come out.
Thanks.

We don't know how many cards each of the three OblivAeon decks will have. We can make educated guesses, though, and probably get within a few dozen of the actual answer.

This is from the ks update about gameplay.
2 for OblivAeon (more on that in the “Gameplay” section)
10 different Scions (originally, it was five, but then we brought more in)*
Decks:
25 card OblivAeon Deck
25 card Aeon Men Deck
25 card Scion Deck
25 card Mission Deck (this was originally 10 cards, but we added 15 more because we had additional awesome ideas)*
Other:
5 different OblivAeon Shield cards (was originally just one - decided to expand it for more variety)*
hero tokens to indicate hero location
tokens to indicate Battle Zones
Plus 2 environments and five hero decks.
And then there's the two hero mini expansions and the four void guard decks.

With that information, I estimated the game will have around 3200 cards.

Total Hero decks: 37 decks at 40 cards each. 1,480 cards.
Total Hero character cards: 35 normal heroes, 60 normal variants, 9 cards/variants for the Sentinels, 6 cards/variants for Sky-Scraper. 110 cards.
Total Solo Villain decks: 24 decks at 25 cards each, plus 11 cards for Kaargra's Bloodsworn Colosseum. 611 cards.
Total Solo Villain character cards: 24 decks at 2 cards each, 8 extra Ennead members, 2 cards for the Operative, . 58 cards.
Total Team Villain decks: 15 decks at 20 cards each. 300 cards.
Total OblivAeon decks: 4 decks at 25 cards each, 5 shields. 105 cards.
Total Environment decks: 24 decks at 15 cards each. 360 cards.
Total standard-size cards: 3,124 cards.
(Depending on how many character cards you end up having duplicates of as a result of getting the foil heroes pack, non-foil variant pack, and collecting the original limited-run variants, you may need a few more sleeves, assuming you sleeve every duplicate. Our hypothetical obsessive collector probably also needs a few extra sleeves for original art Impale and assorted pre-errata things from the first edition - I leave it up to each reader to determine how much of that might apply to themself.)
If you're sleeving oversized cards, it's 24 solo villains, 6 villain variants, 2 OblivAeon cards, 10 Scions. 42 Oversized cards.

So if one is only sleeving the foil cards:
97 includes all new heros? the two mini expanions and nine new heros?
42 Oversized villain cards?
We know the shields aren't oversized cards because they aren't in the oversized card section of the update.

Strictly speaking, the Void Guard are also a mini expansion.
Which actually did cause me problems, as I forgot to include (both versions of) the Void Guard last time. On recount, it seems that there will be 106 total Hero Character cards in the foil pack. This includes all the heroes current and upcoming, all variants, and base cards. It might, however, just be 105 cards, since I have no idea whether the Sentinels' set-up card will get foiled. It hasn't any art, after all.

3x(1+1+1)= 9!!!
It's another clue people!
EDIT: The final card count has been edited - this made sense at the time of posting… (3x4)-(2+1)=9 is probably a bit too contrived, even for an ARG joke…

Do those number include the extra character cards for Skyscraper (and variants)? She's not mentioned as specifically different, but I'm also bad at checking math.

When I tried to do a calculation myself I came up with 109, I made sure to include Skyscraper's 2 sets of three, completionist guise, and the alternates for the mini packs and such. I'm not 100% about my math though.

Darnit, there is Sky-Scraper! This is what I get for not having WotC yet.
So, that's 4 more (+2 for base, and +2 for Extremist, each of which had only been counted as one card before). Editing.

For Kaarga Warfang you've added 11 extra cards, but there are only two extra cards: Crowd's Favor and the Bloodsworn Colliseum text card. The rest of the Bloodsworn Colliseum cards replace what would have been regular villain cards.
Your numbers add up to 3,024, not 3,124. With the Kaarga Warfang collection, they'll add to 3,015.
For myself, I've been collecting the variants along the way, including the eight variant villain cards (four pairs of two each for Blade, Omnitron, Spite, and GloomWeaver), and since I plan to sleeve the Complete Hero Variant Collection (67) and the Foil Hero Correction (110), my total is 3,200.
Complete Hero Variant Collection: 67 (New art, replacement for Kvothe, who is owned by Worldbuilders)
Foil Hero Collection: 110 (New art)
Foil Kvothe: 1
Cleverest Legacy (unpublished): 1
Total: 3,251

I only get the stuff that has been officially released by >G, so what would the card count be without Cleverest Legacy?

3,247, I think, since both Kvothe cards were released by Worldbuilders and the first Super Scientific Tachyon might be considered released by Handelabra.

I mean, I wrote and designed the Kvothe and Super Scientific Tachyon cards, and Adam arted them, and then GTG printed them, so I'd say those count.

So, it's the GTG printing them that makes them official. Otherwise, I think Cleverest Legacy at this point has had as many copies printed as the original Young Legacy.
Speaking of which, did you guys ever get that pack of like 50 Cleverest Legacies I sent to the GTG office?

I'm here to stay!
I mean, I'm traveling Wednesday of this week through Monday of next, so it'll be sporadic if at all that I'm posting in those several days, but I am genuinely eager to be part of this community again. That is, if you all will be so kind as to have me back.
Been making a dent in the playtesting areas as well.

So i picked up a complete copy of Sentinels of the Multiverse Enhanced Edition with all content stored in the Ultimate Collectors Case.
Now its time to sleeve, would 3300 Sleeve King Standard Cards ( 63.5x88mm) be enough for all non oversized cards.
:
Sentinels of the Multiverse Core Game
Sentinels of the Multiverse: Rook City/Infernal Relics
Sentinels of the Multiverse: Shattered Timelines
Sentinels of the Multiverse: Vengeance
Sentinels of the Multiverse: Wrath of the Cosmos
Villains of the Multiverse
Villains of the Multiverse
Sentinels of the Multiverse: Mini-Expansions: (Unity, The Scholar, Guise, Ambuscade, Miss Information, Wager Master, Chokepoint, Silver Gulch 1883, The Final Wasteland, Omnitron IV, The Celestial Tribunal)
