Thought I’d ask this here since I hadn’t seen any news about this anywhere else. I just went to a local game store, and they had a third edition printing of the Base Game. The front had updated art, but apart from that, I couldn’t tell any difference.
Anyone know more? Same stuff inside? Updated art? Did I just see things? Is this old news and I’m slow on the uptake? 
What game are you talking about? If you are talking about SotM they might have done a reprint but it wouldn't contain new art on the cards. Possibly I could see the box art redone but that would be it.

During a recent art twitch, Adam answered the question about a new edition of the game by saying they might if there was enough interest. He didn't give any indication that it already existed, though.
Are you sure it was the base game?
If you go here and scroll down to The Entire Multiverse level, you can see the new box art and it looks like it has been changed to "Third Printing". Updated cover art, wording clarifications, and a better rulebook are my guess as to what is different. I guess dividers for other expansions are out of it as well.
The only difference I see is more red tint on Baron Blade.
Some other easily noticable differences are Absolute Zero's head is facing a different way, his right arm is now down, Tachyon is smiling, Tachyon's movement now comes from behind bunker, Legacy is looking to the left, and the lightning has a slightly different glowing effect.

Yeah, probably not much of a real change to it. I think they would have announced it, if there was anything substantial.
The third printing just has some updated art on the cover, and a gift from Handelabra for the video game. The contents are exactly the same.
Any chance you'd tell us what the Handelabra gift was?

Oh, wow, they fixed the kerning in the title! (Take a look at the space between the "L" and the "T" in "MULTIVERSE".) Seriously, I was never able to play with my partner because that kerning bothered him too much.
Were the hero card backs changed as well? My edition has "Sentinels of the Multiverse" with the poor kerning.
The GtG web store still has the second printing cover. If we order now, would we get the second or the third printing?
Really? That is…the most minor of complaints.
Obviously I don't have this problem playing Sentinels, but I can totally understand it. My partner and I are both academics, and in our daily life we read lots of papers. Frequently inattention to detail in things like the typesetting points to sloppiness in much more consequential parts of the paper, which can lead to a great deal of extra effort on the reader's part. Running across something like this in a game can remind me (or him) of that extra pain in our work lives, which in turn seriously impedes ability to relax and enjoy the game.
(Also, he's just not that big a fan of board or card games in general, and Sentinels isn't particularly the type of game he would enjoy. So it doesn't take a lot extra for a veto.)
One thing I appreciate about Sentinels is how much care is taken with so many different aspects of the game, for instance the language use. Things like Omnitron-X's "Innervating Ray" are just awesome.
Sorry I'm coming late to the party, but as a previous owner of an earlier version of the Enhanced Edition, I wanted to add a few things that caused me to drop $40 on this third printing.
1. The third printing's cards are cut to the correct length. Earlier cards were cut just a bit longer at the top than they should have been. I've heard this has made issues with sleeving when using "perfect fit" sleeves (although I don't sleeve so I can't verify this). The difference was also noticable when making the support deck of un-used hero character cards for the two-player variant that included hero cards from expansions. Also, I ordered replacement cards for the re-printed errata cards (see point 3), and I couldn't use them with my earlier version as the lengths were different.
2. The box of the third printing is of the correct width. Earlier boxes were made just a bit more narrow than the expansion boxes, which I heard caused issues with storing sleeved cards (again, I can't verify this)
3. The errata cards are included in the third printing. About 4 of the cards, which were re-printed with errata (ex. Fanatic's "Chastise"), are included in this version.
Just sharing in case anyone else with an earlier version might benefit from this info.

the reprinted cards were Solar Flare, Embolden, and Pushing the Limits (IIRC). they all require the affected character to take some damage at the appropriate time, or else the card is destroyed.
Don't forget Fanatic's "Chastise". The re-printing of that card added the word "non-hero" to it, which drastically reigned in (in a good way) the possibilities of that card.
"Solar Flare" (2x) is in Ra's deck.
"Pushing The Limits" (3x) is in Tachyon's deck.
"Embolden" (2x) and "Chastise" (2x) are in Fanatic's deck.
There used to be an errata pack available, but that's sold out by now. You could order replacement cards, although you might run in to card size issues.
Hmm, I purchased Sentinels a year ago and have the errata'd cards.
The 3rd printing with these changes exist? or this just a "wish-to-have"?
@UXM266: The third printing box exists. I found it at my FLGS a few days ago on Saturday. It says "Third Printing" near the barcode on the front of the box and I believe the copyright year on the back of the box was 2016 (might be 2015, but I really think it was 2016).

The second printing was the one that fixed the errata, right?
@dpt: Based on Belle's response, I'm going to assume that there is at least one pre-third printing version of EE with the errata cards included. I had the original EE version, which definitely did not. Anyone interested should check the cards they have before ordering replacements.
yes I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty sure I have the second edition and it contains the errata.

Wasn't there also errata for Wrest the Mind and Rampaging T. Rex? I seem to remember hearing that Wrest the Mind had its damage bumped up and "Non-character card" added, while the T. Rex's text had "besides itself" added to its targeting.
Those are changes made going from the "first edition" to the "Enhanced Edition". The latter is the only thing commercially available now; the former had flimsier cardstock & no real way to fit decks back into the box after getting opened.
The second printing did NOT have the errata for Divine Focus, which it should have.
Did the third printing add it?
My second printing copy of Divine Focus has the errata. That is, it says that if the damage isn't taken the card is destroyed.
There are multiple versions of the Second Printing, I don't think they change it with every print run. When they change I cannot say. The main difference I know is the box. So perhaps they change the printing number whenever they update the box?
