Where are they now?

I was sitting here wondering where some of the other villains are. I figured I might as well post what I think.

• Citizen Dawn - I don't see her wanting to work with the heroes. She also seems full of herself that she probably thinks her and her Citizens of the Sun could take out OblivAeon by themself. I think she is waiting on Insula Primalis for the "first wave" to take on OblivAeon. If they succeed, then she won't have to get her hands dirty. If they fail, then she will enter fight.
• Grand Warlord Voss - It seems very likely he is still bound to where NightMist sent him.
• Omnitron - Omnitron-IV is in Environment, so it sounds like it'll be easy to have it in the final battle.
• The Chairman - I'm fairly certain he goes into his underground facility around the same time as Progeny arrival. We know he emerges in Tactics, so this seems like where he'll be.
• The Operative - We seen in Tactics that she has acquired a new dragon tattoo. We also know she has visited Zhu Long at least 3 times. It seems likely that this may be going on during her third visit. We don't know how long it takes Zhu Long to ressurect people, but i'd assume that the bigger the wound the longer it'll take. Considering the size of her newest tattoo, it seems likely that it would take awhile.
• Plague Rat - Due to his primal instincts, I don't think he'll even realize what is happening thus won't bother being a big help in the final battle.
• Spite - With The Chairman in his underground facility and with the knowledge that Spite clones are being made there with what little DNA they could gather from him after becoming an Agent of Gloom, it seems quite safe to say that Spite is dead during this.
• The Ennead - We know they are all dead.
• Apostate - He can be seen in The Block. He could still be there. Or perhaps his whereabouts are to do with The Host.
• GloomWeaver - The fact the world isn't in chaos before OblivAeon arrives suggest that GloomWeaver is most likely in the Realm of Discord. I also don't think the heroes will want to help him get out to help with OblivAeon, as a full powered GloomWeaver would be quite hard to handle afterward.
• The Dreamer - She's still very young and probably lacking complete control over her powers. Sounds like she'd be more of a liability than an asset.
• Kismet - This could be one of her times in The Block or she doesn't feel like she has the power to assist against OblivAeon.
• Iron Legacy - Honestly, I have no idea. Did they kill him after his defeat? Is he locked away in some sort of prison? His whereabouts are quite the mystery.
• Infinitor - Confirmed dead on Update #1 on the Kickstarter.
• Progeny - Is a lacky of OblivAeon, I don't see him helping the heroes, though he may be in the expansion somwhere. It would be neat to have a Character Card included that works with his Wrath of the Cosmos deck. We'll have to wait and see.
• Kaargra Warfang - Another one that I have no idea what happened to after her defeat.
• Miss Information - Going by her incap in Villains of the Multiverse. I think she's too out of whack at this point to be of any use.
• Wager Master - He most likely knows what OblivAeon is and does not want to get involved.
• Chokepoint - Golly! Too many characters I do not know what they could possibly be doing after their defeat.
• Friction - She looks very bad on her incap. We also have confirmation that most of the Vengeace teams is indisposed during OblivAeon, so she may not have recovered.
• Ermine - Even if she is able bodied, she doesn't seem to have any ability to handle an OblivAeon situation.
• Fright Train - Like Apostate, we see him in The Block. Whether he is still there or not is a mystery. Bue as said previously, since most Vengeace characters are indisposed, i'll assume that he is.
• Proletariet - I don't have the foggiest idea what he is up to. I also do not know if his incap is how Baron Blade found him or if it takes place after his defeat.
• Sergeant Steel - I wonder how long ago his incap took place before OblivAeon. As that bomb may have killed him or at the very least crippled him for quite some time.
• Biomancer, Bugbear, and Greazer - I have no clue what these three could be up to.

Where do we see Apostate/Fright Train in the Block? (Is it in their own decks, or in The Block?)

It's in The Block, on Prison Riot.

Progeny could conceivably be doing the Silver Surfer turn, although that seems pretty unlikely.

About the Chairman - do not forget Progeny destroys Rook City at the beginning of the "event". The Chairman is both hiding and trying to keep the organization together in the local chaos. Maybe even becoming Exemplar right now.

Iron Legacy would be the biggest question mark for me.   We don't have an indication he was killed entirely but that would seem to be the only way to get him to stop him.    If alive he could certainly help but I'm not sure you'd want to take that risk.  

IL may have gone back through the time cataclysm too, he might have been beat back and sent home.

You forgot the most important one, where is the rest of La Capitan’s crew?

This is what I had thought too, but I can't remember where I got that notion from. It seems the most logical to me. There is no way they would kill Paul, even if it was a much different Paul than they knew you know? The question I have is if they managed to make him see the error of his ways, if Iron Legacy had any sort of redemption moment in his defeat to take back to his time. I would like to think so.

And where is the Cursed Acolyte during all of this? I assume he is out shopping for pants, or maybe (gawd help us) we will get a Cursed Acolyte deck as the $1m stretch goal?

Kaagra essentially has a pocket dimension where the Bloodsworn Colesseum exists and travels around reality. She's probably still doing her thing. If she isn't a Scion of OblivAeon (after all, she made a deal with some cosmic entity for her power and her colesseum... Could she have been the first test, Progeny the second?)

Bugbears incap seems to me like Nightmist sealed him away in some pocket dimension until she could cure him, putting him out of the fight since she wouldn't go and throw him into this fray.

Greazer is inter-galactic. Very possible that people not on Earth are unaware of the danger going on. Also, Greazer is in it for the money and no one is paying to take down OblivAeon.

Biomancer hiding most likely.

I can see him watching from the side, wondering how he could snatch some parts of OblivAeon and use them to make new, improved fleshchildren.

I'm not sure exactly what time the Ennead gets killed off.  That might happen during the events of the expansion.  We might even get a mission to recurit them onto our side.

As for La Capitan's crew, I think a better question than where they are is when they are.  If they're in the past, they don't know that OblivAeon is making his move.  If they're in the future, they already know that the world will be saved without them.

You forgot the most important one, Curse Acolyte's Pants.

In the art stream yesterday, Christopher said that Iron Legacy was returned to his own timeline, much worse for wear.

On the one hand, this seems a bit rough for that timeline.  If he hasn't learned his lesson, then recovers and gets free, they could be plunged into disaster again.  On the other hand, maybe even he was injured enough to not be able to break free for some time.  And, if he is in prison there, I bet it'd be a veeery sturdily constructed facility. 

I do hope he might have changed his ways...  But it's quite a lot to have to face up to: not only that your daughter really is gone, and you can't compensate for that by becoming hard and eliminating mercy, but that you killed some of your friends and oppressed a world that you were supposed to help and serve.  That's a lot of failure and shame to live down.  C.S. Lewis once wrote of shame: "If you will accept it – if you will drink the cup to the bottom – you will find it very nourishing: but try to do anything else with it and it scalds."  From drinking so very much shame, a deeply nourished man could emerge.  But to be able to drink it all in the first place would be more difficult than I can adequately express.

One cannot speculate to the location of something that never existed.

About Iron Legacy - let's just hope his defeat did not incite him to find a way to gain more power. Thinking he could be one of the Scion makes me nervous.
