Apparently in the chat on Friday Christopher stated that all the Heroes in Oblivaeon would be people we had seen before. I think it's basically confirmed that one will be Lillian Corvus and another will be Baron Blade, and that none of them are Scions or Proletariat. That still leaves...quite a lot of people.
Anyway, I would like to put forward my guess, which is the ape from Quando? Ahora! because seriously, great ape.

I see Fright Train as a possibility since much like the incap side of Baron Blade it specifically states villain turn. All of the other three villains from that set don't specify villain turn.

But in the first Q&A, I am pretty sure he also said none of the alternate reality heroes would be getting their own decks. Instead, they'd be showing up in other ways. (There's been speculation that maybe they are going to be in envorinment decks.)

My bet is Harpy, Blade, Fright Train, and Ermine. And I'd say the last was Proletariat, but that's a confirmed "No", right? And Deadline has lost his tech, so he probably isn't a good option. Have to think about that last one...

I'm actually wondering if the grown-up Dreamer might become a hero deck. It's not clear how essential Project Cocoon is to the creation of the Visionary; without it, Vanessa might grow up to be an entirely different hero (or villain post-Dreamer). It's clear that she's powerful.

My hopes and dreams are on decks consisting of multiple crazy alts of characters we already know who are fighting together in a single Sentinels-style deck. That fulfills the statement that the alts don't get decks of their own and the statement that we'll be seeing them in other ways, while also fulfilling my heart's desire.

I like Spiff's idea. And I think that we may see a lot of decks that are neither heroes, villains or environments in the "traditional" sense - like a deck of allies, or a deck of quests…
I'd consider Citizen Dawn for a hero deck. She'd probably try first to ally with OblivAeon, or use him/it, but once she understands that he/it is a danger for her citizens, she won't hesitate allying temporarily with her former ennemies. Also, it's good public relations.
And if OblivAeon wins, she probably has an Ark already built to leave the planet and go build a new civilization somewhere else

While I would like seeing Spiff's suggestion, those styles of heroes just take such a beating from AoE damage. I mean, for The Sentinels (and a certain Cauldron promo), it is a drawback built into the deck, sure, but it is offset by the amount of healing that deck has. I don't know if I would enjoy another deck of too similar a gimmick.
Maybe its just me, but I hate when everyone else takes 2 damage from an attack and my poor Sentinels team takes 8.

I would love to see a hero deck that has some bonuses for being in a group with other specific other heroes, sort of like how the Naturalist's cards get extra effects when he is in a certain form. Or how some of the newer villain cards have targets in their deck that get an extra effect when certain heroes are in play.

Dreamer with the Ape would be an amazing deck.
She obviously hasn't trained the same way Visionary has, and riding a bg ape into battle would definitely change things up.
Other potential Villain turned hero options:
A Dawn related deck. (Every deck Baron does, she does better.)
Akash. (Who is more jealous of the Earth than Akash? Also hints seem to show she was affected by the fight, makes even more sense if she was involved.)

Thematically Dawn feels like she can't maintain that level for long.
I think her peak power level is insane, but it wears her down and going too strong could weaken her for a while.
Legacy vs. Dawn would come down to if Legacy can last through Dawn's worst.
Dawn would lose to Expat though.
The power of the Sun is insignificant compared to the ability to never run out of bullets. (which is clearly her super power)

[list]
[*]Luminary (hero Baron Blade) from the expansion
[*]Akash'Thriya (hero Akash'Bhuta) from the expansion
[*]The Harpy (hero Matriarch) from the expansion
[*]Stuntman (hero Ambuscade) from the stretch goals

I think the 350k reveal in Miss Information. The 'ray gun' looks more like her mask than a gun. However, I think she'll be a mini expansion rather than the fourth OblivAeon hero. They've been sandwiching mini expansions between the regular variant announcements and its clearly Deadline om the 400k outline.
This would also complete the symmetry of having a hero for the villains from each expansion. The stndard gme expansions in the main box, the minis, Vengeance and VotM as mini expansions.
I'm thinking that the 500k is the la Capitan announcement, as I still think she's another likely villain turned hero, combined with another evnironment.

I've noticed something with the revealed heroes so far.
Luminary == Baron Blade == Core set
Harpy == The Matriarch == Rook City
Akash'Thriya == Akash'Bhuta == Infernal Relics
We have five heroes total, and the first three announced are, sequentially, from the first three standard (i.e., non-Vengeance style) expansions.
So I'm betting the last two heroes will be villains from Shattered Timelines and Wrath of the Cosmos.

I recall hearing, long ago, that Revenant and Setback were either the first two or just among the first two characters created in the Sentinels multiverse, so I'd assume there's a ton of reveals left to hear there.
The five villain-heroes we got were my first guesses, but there's still a part of me hoping for a last minute reveal of Proletariat. I actually messed around with a powr that went:
Power: Destroy a non-character, non-relic card, if you do reveal the top 2 cards of that deck, put one into play and discard the other.
It was fun because you could destroy a villain card at the cost of playing a new one, or destroy a hero card and get to play a new one.

I excited to see what unique mechanics they could use for the 11 new heroes. I doubt that all have something really special but I could be wrong. Could some of them be 1 complexities?

Void Guard Idealist will be able to play a very small (possibly only one) target that is the Giant Robot. Then she'll play lots of Equipment cards on the giant robot to enhance its abilities.

They'd either be equipment cards or have another keyword if they have targets. Due to advanced Omnitron would increase the damage they do and reduce the damage they take if they have the Device keyword. They would also cause Omnitron to continue after being reduced to 0, as there would be devices still in play.

I'm also curious what the nemesis icons could be fir the new heroes. Will they're icon stAy the same like with omnitron x? But then again omnitron doesn't have a different hero nemesis.

In Omnitron-X's case, it's not so much that he kept the same icon, but that Omnitron is O-X's nemesis (because the whole point of O-X going back in time was to reduce the amount of damage that Omnitron does), so Omnitron has O-X's icon. But the fact that the icon fits very well for Omnitron itself (since they're the same character) and Omnitron appeared first means that it's easy to get the causality confused.
The new heroes aren't trying to stop earlier versions of themselves (even La Comodora, who could reasonably expect to fight herself), so they have no reason to match the earlier icons. Also, those icons are already associated with heroes (as you mentioned).
So they will all get brand new icons. I'm guessing that they will have nemesis in OblivAeon's villain decks (probably some Scions, and who knows what else), and that OblivAeon itself will be a nemesis of every hero. Probably won't have every nemesis icon, though.
Also, I'd bet that the Void Guard either each gets an icon with their quarter of the Sentinels Icon, or they get one with their Oblivion Shard on it.
Other guesses: Luminary - the light schematic from his picture Harpy - her mask or a wing or feather Akash-Thriya - a rock, maybe? La Comodora - the skull & crossbones on her sleeve Lifeline - I don't know, but it's going to be red. Benchmark - the RevoCorp logo on his chest Stuntman - his rose

And no hero card or power working on equipment could be used on them ? It would be losing lots of possible combos… Salvage Yard, Unity's power, Pervasive Red Dust…
About "reformed villains" nemesis - I'd like the Baron to keep his Nemesis, for instance. It would make things interesting when he is paired with Legacy, especially if he has cards that can hurt fellow heroes for benefit .
(Side Note : Super Sentai Idealist is awesome! )

One thing about Idealist: It would be awesome if she could have, say, a crazy prejection creature always with her (Think Star Sapphire's Predator). If it were a character card, it could also be replaced by the robot with the Super Sentai variant. This probably won't happen, but it would be awesome if it were actually made.

Oh, yeah, right. Good call. I got confused looking at new variants for heroes I don't already know, and was just thinking of them as new heroes.

Well, Devices are targets that are independent machines. Why couldn't a hero get them?
It would interact with Omnitron, which makes sense that he would boost them on advanced, he's boosting the effectiveness of machines in the area. And Vengeance Blade would just protect them.
Outside of that:
Charged attacks would trigger off their destruction.
Omni-Blade would give them health if Omnitron-X is in the game.
Internal Defense Grid, Techno Pursuer and Partial Omni Drone would not deal them damage.
Resource recycler could put them into play from the top of the trash.
Base Omnitron you couldn't win if they were still in play.
That's it. I don't think that is a prohibitive set of effects. It only would happen in four decks, and the only one that would give pause would be the win condition on base Omniron, and I don't even think that is a big deal.

Because any equipment destruction would not work on them?* It's the opposite reason to why Friction's Stolen Gear changed to a Device rather than the Equipment card it was originally (which would be themeatically awesome but game play confusing).
*And I really don't want a retcon that says "Hero Devices can be Destroyed by equipment destruction".

But there is some precident for non-equipment cards, like Unity's Bots. Granted, Bots aren't devices either, but there are cards out there unique to one hero.
Also, Omni-X has components, too (though, sadly, no devices, which I was really hoping for when that deck came out.)
It would certainly be an interesting to see how things played out if some heroes did get devices.
Also, as for the Void Guard promos, I was thinking that Dr. Malpractice's power might be something like "Until you next power phase, whenever you would heal a target, deal that much energy damage instead."

Heros don't need "devices". They already have devices. They are called "equipment" in hero decks. Honestly, the keyword device just means "villain equipment card" for all intents and purposes.

I do suspect, after a ton of cards in VotM awkwardy have wording about damaging all cards in a given play area, that at least one new Hero will follow in Unity and Cosmic's footsteps of having targets. My guess would be Akash and/or Idealist before the tech types, but many things are possible.

Omni-X's components are also Equipment. Adding a new keyword is not a big deal, what does require more thought is having a Hero card that isn't part of the standard One-Shot/Equipment/Ongoing trichotomy. (That's only done so far for Unity and Captain Cosmic, right?)

I imagine Lifeline will have equipment with the relic keyword much like his villain deck does. I'm curious how Lifeline and The Harpy will work their magic compared to Nightmist. Benchmark feels like he will be equipment heavy.

I'm still really curious about the icons. It would make sense as a possibility for there to be nemeses within the three Oblivean villain decks. it might be interesting if one of the new heroes was a loner vigilante that prided in doing things himself and didn't care whether he damaged the other heroes. He'd be doing his own thing, but that would be a different aspect for the game. The player would decide how much he wanted to damage the others at the risk of having to do damage to the villain himself later. Weird, but interesting.

I'm excited to find out what the new heroes damage types will be. I imagine a few will be Melee and maybe projectile. It seems like a good majority gave Melee or projectile I think.

I think maybe OblivAeon won’t be anybody’s nemesis. He’s everyone’s equally, so no icon.

I suspect that will be the case, with the *possible* exception of the Scholar. Thematically he'd work, but otherwise, I suspect Oblivaeon's mechanics will make nemeses moot.

I hope some of the mission deck rewards will allow you to gain cards in play that give you a nemesis symbol for him, like something that makes you more dangerous to him, but therefore focuses his attention on you.

I understand that all the new heroes will get new icons, but in a way I was hoping they'd match up with a villain in the normal play style. But it's probably unlikely that they'd overlap wth another character isn't it? Unless they have personal grudges against certain heroes? This would only really effect anything if a villain had a hero damage another hero, or effecting all targets.
