What's With the Opaque Hero Masks?

Why do Redeemer Fanatic & Dark Watch Mr. Fixer wear opaque masks over their eyes?  Are they blind?

Fixer is, yes.

And Fanatic is a winged angelic being with a magical sword. Her being able to see through a visor isn't unreasonable.

Dark Watch Mr. Fixer must be an homage to Daredevil.

Holy Vision I suppose.

I interpreted Reedemer's face mask as a little like the blaster helmet from Star Wars.

That or she wants to see no evil.

Like a monkey?

I'm betting Apostate used that line on her at least once…

My guess is it's a literal interpretation of 'by faith alone'.

If the visor was hole-ey, there's be no question how she could see through it.  Ha!

Well, if you're going the route that Redeemer Fanatic can't see through her visor, I posit that Absolute Zero can't see through his.

I wouldn't apply a lot of logic to how Absolute Zero functions.  

The workings of his suit is one of those visual tricks - if you look directly at it it will disappear.
