I know he's not an official promo, but as written, if you use his power on Dawn's deck and discard any Citizen, you can immediately win the game. Omnitron and Voss (in Dok Thorath) are similarly vulnerable.

How is discarding a Citizen different from destroying it in terms of, it just goes into the trash like normal.  How does that win the game?

Legacy can destroy a card that shares a keyword with the discarded card, Dawn has the Citizen keyword.

Heh. I guess it should be errata'ed to read "non-character card"!

Also, if you discard an environment card that doesn't have a keyword (like Temporal Event), then you could destroy any hero character card except Sky-Scraper, as the statement "Heroes and [insert environment card here] share a keyword" is vacuously true.

EDIT: Well, I suppose that the staement that they don't share a keyword is also vaciously true, but that's not as fun.

That's what playtesting is for :)

Seriously though, it's not nice to tease promos that will never be released.

You could do similar with Skinwalker Gloomweaver if a zombie was revealed.  In that case you would just have him flip immediately instead of winning.

Yeah, dpt is right – if we'd playtested it, it would have "non-character card".

Nice catch!

I disagree here. There is no keyword that the two cards share. On the other hand, if the power said "destroy a card that has all the keywords of the revealed card", THEN it would be vacuously true.

(I think about vacuous conditions all the time in my day job!)

That's how Experiment works in the video game – I once experimented on Wagner Mars Base, which revealed two of the same card (Villainous Weaponry), and discarded both because they had no keywords to share.

Sounds like a bug to me. A card without keywords shouldnt have any keywords to share to trigger the effect.

They get discarded if they don't share a keyword. It sounds like what happened is exactly what was supposed to happen.

And now I wish Cleverest was a official promo. He sounds fun and adds a bit of utility to Legacy's deck.
