the 4/5 boardgame stores that i visit complain that the sentinels of the multivers game is hard to get.

i dont know if its out of print or that there is a reprint comming. does someone know?

country:the neterlands/germany (visited gamestores in the border region).

i even go to essen and normaly dont vind a greater than game game there.

last few times i demo ed the game in januari at the local store, but the store owner complained that the game is hard to get and that he cant sell it if he does not have a copy. he even mensiond that i shoul play less until its available again, becaus he doesent like to sell NO to customers, witch makes sence.

if annybody knows what my local store owner (multible stores) can do plz coment, ill give the mesage to him.

I wonder if this is maybe a language issue--it's quite English-dependent, so perhaps continental game distributors are hesitant to carry it?

The base game sometimes goes out of stock at Greater than Games, but has generally been available. I think the most recent reprint was in the Fall. Of course for your game store to get it at a reasonable price it needs to go through a distributor.

One of my FLGS (Brave New World in Cologne) happens to be the lone German distributor of GTG games. I was told one time that every shop that stocks GTG games in Germany has gotten their copy of Sentinels from there, and because they are the distributors, the Brave New World booth is also the only booth at Essen Spiel that ever sells the game- and they do tend to run out.

I don't know exactly how much Robert (the owner) orders each time he orders from GTG, but I can say he mainly does it each time a new expansion becomes available, at which point he apparently orders a couple of whatever else happens to be in print at the time. Then some of those copies make it to other German stores, but I think it's never more than two or three per store, max, and not everybody does it, obviously. Even the Brave never has more than one copy on the shelf, and usually not the whole range of expansions.

So basically, your game stores would have to ring up the Brave to see if they can reserve some copies for the next time that there is a shipment of GTG games and then work out whether that's financially viable for them. Unless one store wants to become the Dutch GTG distributor, in which case they should probably talk to Paul about that.

I just sent some SotM to Brave New World, so they should have it in a few weeks!

i will ask if the store wants to import it them selfs. and english is not a problem, evryone i know only buys english games.

the reson for that is:  * not evrything excists in dutch

                                     * other option is german (witch manny dutch players dont like)

                                     *translation isues, other languages except english usaly have translation isues (if in english a card says buy a card in the whole game, in dutch it could be buy or purchase. ) (dominion is a great excample, manny players complain about the language issue, end end up getting a english copy).

even magic is english only, yea thay did a atempt on duch, but thay soon quit.

My FLGS (3 Trolls Games in Chelmsford, MA) has some SotM stock on the shelves, including some of the mini-expansions, and also has most of the game available to try in their open gameing parlour.
