There are a few things that I am hoping come with the last expansion, and I was curious what other people might also be looking for. Obviously, we all want hero versions of every villan and vice versa, but I mean little conveniences.

I think a lot of people are already getting their wish with the storage solution, but surely there are other little things that might be helpful!

Here's some things I'm hoping for:

-A single page that lists all heroes, villains, environements with their difficulties.

-That the Promo Pack either doesn't come with unique promos, or, if it does, those ones are available seperately. I've already got all the other promos, so I don't feel like I need to double up--but I also know I'll be compelled to get it anyhow if there are unique promos. (Just like I did with  the Oversized Villains Cards)

The promo pack comes with new art even for older promos. I think that itself makes even doubles worth having

1) I'd like to have the full story finally explained, perhaps in a booklet that comes with the expansion.  There are story twists that I'm sure normal (i.e. non-hardcore) players of the game have missed but which are really cool and should be explained more thoroughly.  It's a shame to let all of Christopher's intricate story work go unobserved by so many players.

2) I'd like many, many alt. character cards.  I love those and this seems like the perfect time to put out a bunch of them.  It sounds like some version of this may already be on the plate.

3) I'd love to have many of the decks in the final expansions be Sentinels-style decks made of multiple characters, but with them being teams of villains or teams of multiverse alts.  That would be a good way to make it feel like you're bringing a huge roster of characters to the fight, with multiple characters per deck, but still not having more than 5 decks per fight.

However, if #3 interferes with #2, I'd rather have #2.  Hundreds of alt. character cards FTW.

1) I'd like to see the Time Cataclysm deck updated with cards that represent all the new environments that have been released since Shattered Timelines.

2) We've seen Omnitron incarnated as a villain, a hero, a villain target, and an environment. All that's needed to round things out is a hero target version of it. Maybe a supplementary card for Unity?

3) Unity gets a nemesis that's devoted solely against her.

Campaign mode. Similar to Descent 2e. Along with rules to change out cards in each hero deck to show their advancement. ...Okay, maybe that's asking too much, not sure if this should be here or in the UNreasonable thread...

That being said, I'd love for alternate hero decks- for example, a unique Beacon deck to use with the Young Legacy promo, or to even subsitute with the other Legacies. A new Wraith deck where she has a different set of equipment, a new Bunker deck representing an entirely different suit... Stuff like that. Granted, there's no way they could do that for EVERY hero, but seeing a few of them would be nice.

I am perfectly fine with all new promos for promos I already have (and I have all of them in some form or other). I look forward to the new art.

The two things I'd want to request are already being included in the kickstarter - the new box and the promos.

Edit: Okay, getting normal-sized cards for the villains who don't have one yet would be great.

Yeah, I was the one who asked, and I was pretty thorough. I asked if Bunker, Unity, and AZ would get their own, non-nemesis-style, solo nemeses. And he just said, no.
This is probably because Chokepoint fills that role for all 3 of them. Still, that does leave The Scholar as the only hero without any non-nemesis character-card villain at all, which is pretty suspicious.

That being said, I think she does count as their “main” nemesis, with Proletariat, Fright Train, Miss Information, Magman, and Radioactivist being their secondary nemeses, and Iron Legacy just being a bonus one. This leaves Biomancer and Hermetic as The Scholar’s secondary nemeses, with an empty space for his primary.

I feel like The Scholar not having a solo villain nemesis is going to be important in the final expansion. I'm speculating that he might be the mysterious entity from Scion's Aid, but I at least hope we'll see something with him in the set.

Speaking of which, the other things I'd love to see in the final set.

  • Some reference to Voss and Citizen Dawn. It's highly likely if not already confirmed that we're getting a Baron Blade hero deck and Omnitron-X promo; it'd be cool to see reference to the other two villains that helped start it all.

  • As a treat to the kickstarter backers, a physical comic that serves as the last issue of the Sentinels of the Multiverse story arc. Feels like stretch goal potential if you ask me.

  • Since they did variant art for all the villains in the oversized villain pack, I'd love to see the same treatment in the promo pack and provide alternate art for all the hero cards, and not just the promos.

If I haven't dreamt it while following the chat, we will have the Citadel of the Sun as an environment - I would not be surprised to see Citizen Dawn & friends helping the heroes, this time. Her own hero deck would be awesome , but a way to enlist the help of the Citizens of the Sun would be great.

And I'd like a "Sentinel Comics : the whole story" book. Though I doubt it will for this time.

This can not be stated enough.  This was noticed a long time ago and has come up periodically.  While recency bias may have us ignoring it for newer hints there is a very strong likelihood that Dawn and Omnitron are going to be involed in this expansion.

In fact I would guess that the 4 core game villains all show up in the final expansion, as heroes or scions.  Both Dawn and Omnitron have Cosmic connections, Baron is shown to be likely a hero in this one, and in Tactics looks healthier and younger than in Vengeance, while Voss vanished and is a likely choice for a scion.

I continue to want World War II promos of at least three characters who don't have them already, to team up with GI Bunker and Finest Legacy; along with a Nazi Germany environment deck so they can punch Hitler in the face. :D  (ANZAC Haka is an obvious one; I can see a previous AA, but he's got a lot of cards already.)

Black Fist Mister Fixer.

And if you're set on not actually printing Cleverest Legacy, please at least illustrate a card back so we can make our own? :D

The incap powers wouldn't be hard to think of either, we should just agree on them as a community. For example:

-One hero may play a card now.

-Select a hero and a damage type. That hero is immune to the selected damage type until the start of your next turn.

-Reveal the top card of a deck. Put it into play or discard it.

My reasonable request is:

Can someone say how long will the kickstarter last? It looks like >G's last kickstarter is for 24 days (January 19 to Feb 12). The Shattered Timelines KS lasted from October 30, 2012 until November 29, or 30 days which is what kickstarters usually seem to run for. Galactic Strike Force also ran for 30 days.

Mostly I am hoping the kickstarter lasts into March as I will get paid again (I get paid monthly) and be able to pledge more. If it's going to last for 24 days, that's great. If it's only 20, though, that would suck. :( I have no reason to assume that it will but just checking to be sure.

I was hoping that Voss and Dawn would get promos with the final set so that all four of the core villains had multiple versions you could play against, but Christopher shot that down in the Art Q&A, saying that "the oversized villain card pack claims to have every villain card, and it's not lying"

That said, I'd love to see more with them. So my wishlist for the final expansion includes:

Citidel of the Sun environment

TCF Stalwart environment

(which, along with Omni-IV and the Mobile Defense Platform, would give each core villain their own environment)

I also think it'd be cool to get some updated decks for just a couple of the classics.  The ones you said would be perfect, Wraith with a new equipment set, a new suit for Bunker, and maybe an Eternal Haka set?

I also second the compete storyline booklet.  IT doesn't even need to be something intense just a storyline laid out with a graphic or peice of art here or there.

Yes Promo cards!  But mostly I just want more decks!

I also like the idea of having a couple of new heroe decks that combine heroes into a  Sentinels team.  A freedom Five deck, or the Dark Watch?  I'd really like to a see a deck that has a Batman/Robin Hero and Sidekick dynamic.  Or even just a pair working together!  So excited for this the last Expansion, thanks Greater/than/games!

This would be pretty easy to do too in a way that takes less space and is more graphically oriented than the current tokens… maybe just round tokens with symbols for each type of damage (like the ones used in the Sidekick app) with the normal symbol on one side and the a circle and slash through it on the other. The slashed symbol is immunity and the other side can show modifiers with +1/-1 tokens…

Fantasy Flight has put out a "story bible" book for the Android: Netrunner universe, and is rumored to be doing the same with their Arkham/Eldritch Horror universe.

I'd really love--maybe as a stretch goal for the Oblivaeon kickstarter or the like--a similar book for the Sentinels universe, telling the story from the beginning while featuring the awesome art accompanying the game.

Judging by the Unlock Conditions for Freedom Wraith in the video game, it seems that she took down the whole organization by herself (remember that in our timeline it is the Dark Watch team that does this). This explains why she has the Operative's weapons (likely trophies of her victory). The name "Price of Freedom" might indicate the personal price she paid in order to achieve this goal. By all accounts, the Wraith we know is the kind of hero who is more likely to tie the bad guys up than flat out kill them or get real down and dirty with it in the same way the Dark Watch is. How many did she have to kill to eventually kill the Operative and the Chairman? This Wraith lost a piece of the person she was. But it was the "price of freedom" she paid for Rook City…

Thats my new working interpretation of the events anyway in light of the new info.

good to know. Was debating on this because it sounded like OblivAeon is going to have more decks than a normal expansion. More like the rook city/infernal relics expansion combined. Hopefully once the kickstarter hits we will know how many heros decks, villians, and environoments before stretch goals we are looking at.

Foote,

Also in the video game, Iron Legacy's text with her taunts her about being The Chairwoman now, so it seems part of the price may be running the Organization. Or using the Chairman's chemicals to keep her alive, ala R'As al Ghul and Batman in some elseworld tales.

As far as environments I'd like to see... TCF Stalwart and Citadel of the Sun have already been mentioned.

I wouldn't be surprised if they give us a Ft. Adamant environment, since it seems there are at least a few big battles that go on there. (Chokepoint and at least one encounter with Oblivaeon, I believe).

I think an environment that was basically Nightmist's pocket dimension would be cool.  Like a place where she keeps various relics, like a vault or something.  It could be full of magic items that either the villain or the heroes can use. With end & start of turn effects dependent on whether a villain target or a hero target is holding them.

I also wanted a "La Paradoja Magnifica" environment, where the battle can transition between the various decks and locations of the ship. All of which would have specific effects on the battle.  This would allow you to have a thematic battle with La Capitan on her ship.  Or some wacky fights with other villains who have somehow commandeered La Capitan's ship.  This would also allow us to have a card called "Poop Deck".

I still think we need a Revo-Corp HQ environment.  I imagine it working like the Freedom Tower environment, but every room is terrible and harmful for the heroes.  It would be to Freedom Tower what Rook City was to Megalopolis.

I also think an environment for The Slaughterhouse Six's Evil Lair would be grand!

I imagine the largest part of the cost of this would be the incredible amount of time and effort it would take to create the content. It would basically be a project all on its own. They've stated that they intend for the source book for the RPG to fill this role, since it's going to be full of character background stuff anyway.

That. Would be awesome!! Maybe she realized she needed the power of the Organization to take down Iron Legacy and the Chairman wasn't interested… so she took him down and took over.

This is the kind of back story that really needs to be told!!

A hardbound lore book for the whole story arc would be the best thing I could ask for in this last expansion Kickstarter. You don't even need a whole lot of new art, you can use existing card art and just place it in sequential order and tell the stories in between. I'd pay $50 for that.

But don't people already have to buy Tactics to find out what happens after the card game? Well, I suppose they don't, really, since it all gets discussed on here, in which case it probably doesn't matter in what form any further lore is released - it'll make its way here sooner or later ;).

I imagine, to tell the full story of SotM in a satisfactory way, it would take the equivalent of at least a couple hundred of those cover+story pages in the ARG. Christopher may have extensive notes and all sorts of tidbits in his head, but it takes a lot of work to turn that into a cohesive narrative, especially given how non-linear the story probably is. Not to mention the time/effort it would take for Adam to make the art (I would settle for card art, but to do it right, I think, would require a lot of new pieces). It costs time and money to make things - and they've got plenty of work to do making games. Since they are already trying to make a game that will include a bunch of story information, it seems pretty reasonable to let that game pull double-duty. The RPG source book will probably cost consumers less than a coffee-table book, anyway.

Another thing about source books, a setting/world book would be very similar to just a book detailing events. The primrary difference is it will reference the RPG occasionally. Considering GtG probably knows that a lot of people are into the story, there will come a time where they will have source books just like that. That would be quite accessible to players and non-players of the RPG. It certainly sounds like the most logical course of action to me, as it will be killing two birds with one stone.

Sure, for the story of what happens after the card game.  But for the story of what happens during the card game, it seems logical that that would be spelled out during the card game.

I don't know why we think it would be such a burden to put this info together.  A paragraph or two on the big events of the story arc would be plenty.  It doesn't have to be fully illustrated or narrated in exquisite detail.

RO

Let's remember, what you originally suggested was not a summary of important events.

A full story and a summary are two very different things. That is why people would think it would be such a burden, as the full story would certainly take quite some time to complete. A paragraph or two would certainly have a better chance at being manageable.

I'm with Spiff here. The story of what happens during the card game should be available with (or better yet, as part of) the card game.

I'm not looking for a 500-page fully illustrated tome. I'm not even looking for a 100-page illustrations-from-the-cards softcover. I'd be happy with a couple dozen pages of text with a nice cover pic, and maybe a branching timelines diagram on the back. And, quite frankly, that's well within their reach to include in OblivAeon.

(Mind you, I'll likely buy everything associated with the RPG, but that's not the point. The point is, I shouldn't HAVE to buy anything associated with Tactics or the RPG to get the story that's covered by the card game.)

Hmmmm. Doing the whole story thing on the RPG sourcebook is a passable solution if done well... I'd probably buy it anyway... Heck I ended up getting a bunch of White Wolf's World of Darkness books just for the story and the world background back in the day (2nd edition, of course) never actually played it.

But the ideal thing would be an SotM: The Card Game Companion which compiles the character bios, showcases the major pieces of card artwork, and outlines the main story elements of the whole arc. Money in the bank!

Heck they can even recycle half of that material for the RPG sourcebook (instead of the other way around)  :)

Of course, they don't owe me anything, this is just what I'd like to see.

I have a question for all the people discussing whether or not the upcoming OblivAeon kickstarter should have a story/lore book for the card game in it.

Would you rather have a "SotM: The Card Game Companion which compiles the character bios, showcases the major pieces of card artwork, and outlines the main story elements of the whole arc." as jagarciao put it…

…or a "SotM: Roleplaying Game Book which compiles the character bios, showcases the major pieces of card artwork, and outlines the main story elements of the whole arc" that may very well end up costing a comparable price to the latter?

Basically what I'm saying is, why can't >G save money, time, and effort by making the two things one and the same?  Sure, I'd buy a Card Game Story Companion book, but I'd much rather have an RPG book that does the same thing… and then some!

That being said, while I'd love to get some more story details, I absolutely would not want it to take time away from the design/playtesting of the actual expansion.  So I hope they don't have anything like that in the expansion.  I'd want them to take the time to do it right, both in regards to the story companion as well as OblivAeon.

In any case, I'd say this discussion if edging it's way towards thread derailment. Haven't seen many people posting what else they'd like out of the last expansion…

Maybe we should start a new thread discussing any potential story book?  It seems like something that might be better suited to it's own thread anyways.

For effects that affect all villain targets or all environment targets, we just cross two of the appropriate tokens (put one on top of the other, but at an angle) in that area to remind ourselves that everything there gets it.

I also have some dice I use if the effect is multiple; I just put the appropriate number facing up on top of the token.

Dividers.

When I got my copy of the enhanced edition I was happy to see dividers, until I tried to use them and found out how easily they bend. So I would be very happy to see thicker dividers in this kickstarter.

Honestly, I don't have issues with the current dividers bending; I have issues with the tops coming apart from getting hit with things (mostly the cards that people are trying to put back into the box). I actually taped over the tops to protect them.

I'd disagree here. I find the dividers to be perfectly functional and to have just the right height, with the text cleary legible. I adore these dividers.

On a somewhat related note, I believe I've read that new dividers will be included with the "deluxe" storage solution. I strongly suspect vertical storage of the decks will be used for this "deluxe" box planned for the KS, in which case the current dividers will simply be obsolete…

The only thing in any of my games that I have put sleeves on is the SotM dividers. Works a treat. But give the people what they want, I say.

Back to the topic in hand, some things I would like to see in the KS are:

  • An errata'd oversized card for Gloomy Spite.
  • Foil versions of the base hero cards as well as the promos - and why not with new art too!
  • A booklet with a very brief overview of how each hero deck plays, including what nuances to expect with variant character cards, and put into groups of rough types (e.g. damage dealers, support, versatile).
  • Place cards for "All Heroes", "All VIllains", and "Environment" that we can chuck tokens onto for global effects. I have my own ones that I did a pnp on and they are nigh-on essential for me now, but I'd like to see an official take on this.
  • A place card for Setbacks tokens. Again I have my own pnp one which I couldn't play without now, but an official one would be nicer. I don't think we need special tokens as the HP ones are just fine so long as we have a meaningful place to store them.
  • Environments for TCF Stalwart, Citadel of the Sun, and Ft. Adamant (as others have also previously mentioned).
  • A timeline for the SotM story arc listing the main events and referencing the comic book numbers for those that want to dig deeper into flavour text etc. Not necessarily a big booklet full of in-depth essays, just an overview so we know which character variants and which villains go where in the timeline and what the significant canon battles are.
  • A bunch of promo cards for some of the alternate-reality heroes we saw in the ARG :slightly_smiling_face: I'm with Spiff on having lots more variant cards as it adds a nice additional dimension when choosing a hero to play.

I don't ask for much do I!

And a seperate card that shows the turn order on one side, and the venegance-style turn order on the other, so the new players can still see the turn order while somone is looking through the rules.

Oversized hero character cards would be great.

In case this is not an option - make sure that the ultimate case at least has room for all of Spiffs oversized hero cards

A good point about the case. In my opinion it doesnt have to be handles on the case, but any solution for carrying the box around would be welcomed. I would even be ok with a sturdy bag of any kind that will be sold seperately, or any reasonable solution that you guys might think about.

Also, I've seen a lot of different requests here that are all essentially address the same topic - Sentinels of the multiverse has a plot, and most people don't know it very well. Through the expansions we got to see the advancement of this plot without really knowing it at all. Some people might go to the wiki and suck out every single detail they can. This proccess is slow and you get your plot in a weird disjointed way, and even if you made that effort, you might still have missed something. Now with the final expansion we would like to have a solution to that problem.

Personally, I would be ok with that solution being sold seperately or developed seperately. just because OblivAeon is the lase expansion doesn't mean there couldn't be any other products such as this.

I would also prefer this solution to not be part of the SotM roleplay game. The plot of SotM is an inntegral part of the cardgame and should be included in it.

Whatever the solution might be, I would appreciate it if the ultimate case has room for that (In addition to the room for accessories, not in place of)

The first solution that comes into mind is a compendium that includes some information on all characters, villains, enviroments, and events, preferably in chronological order.

I did think of a another solution that I think should be on the unreasonable requests because of the sheer amount of content that would be, but I'll write it just in case. In the video game there are weekly scenarios with some small amount of background text as context. a "campaign book" made out of such scenarios detailing the plot of the game. describing big events with several scenarios, introducing the heroes and villains when they appear in the plot, maybe adding some special requirements for some scenarios. This campaign would take A LOT of work and will probably be a a rather thick book.

I know that I had the ambition to try and make that campaign myself, but I know it would not be as good as an actual product made by GTG. Still, if this one wont be made by anyone else (and it will probably wont be) I would rather put the effort to make something that is not as good as it couldbe rather then not have it made at all

Thank you, this looks great and I'm going to give it a try for sure. The campaign I had in mind is very much like that one, only it would tell the story of SotM instead of being a story in between what we know of SotM. It would be much bigger in amount, and will take more effort to make because you'll need to make sure you are being true to the canon and also don't miss any detail. I didn't say its more likely be an unreasonable request for nothing, it'a a load of work.

Still I would love to see this happen, and might attempt to make one myself when all of the expansions are out and I have some way of getting all of the details and information about the world to add to the campaign. I'll be ok with the information being disjointed and difficult to read, if I make that campaign it'll be in order to sort it all out as much as it would be a series of challenges

I want to see a health tracker board.

I made my own and it worked wonders for players, so I think it would make for a great stretch goal to be added to both KS and retail copies of the game.

My track only tracks the health of heroes, but it allows the players to see at a glance who has the second highest and/or lowest health for certain effects. Players can gage how to mitigate damage better, and it keeps the health token count low, while making for a clean presentation. My group and I are fine with using health tokens on villain targets because it creates this feeling of stacking damage on them, and they tend to have low health values anyways.

My track also has an area that indicates what the value of H is for the current game.

The track as a whole is 7" squared and numbers 0 - 40. Each hero's health is tracked with a counter depicting their icon. H is tracked with a small wooden cube.

Just an idea that has proven very helpful when I play the game with both new players and vets alike.

Ever since the Shattered Timelines' Kickstarter, I have wanted a story compendium as well.  My sincere hope is that like others have stated before, we get a story synopsis that has the hero bios, their first appearances, and a cannon storyline of the order in which Sentinels of the Multiverse should be played with which heroes ala campaign mode.  I made an unreasonable request in the other thread which pretty much took this a little overboard... :-)

My current Sentinels gaming group tries to create fun "story" scenario battles that have (or at least may have) taken place within the Multiverse.  But I'd love to see a comprehensive synopsis or chart that shows all the characters and how they're connected to major events throughout the story.

I'd also love to see more printed comics, but at this point I'm just pumped we're at least getting one :stuck_out_tongue: I wouldn't mind seeing more comics with various story archs added to the Kickstarter campaign as Add-Ons.  Though this may be diving into "Unreasonable" request territory.

I've got lots of RPG sourcebooks that I play, but just found great to read as they're chock full of background material on the world in question ( Hellboy and Atomic Robo are two that jump to mind).  You just skip the chapters on stats and game mechanics, and dive into the chapters on character and world history.  I'm guessing the the Sentinels RPG book will have a ton of details about the world, way more than they could include as a separate thing for this Kickstarter.

Given the modesty of what I'd like, and the general size and structure of RPG sourcebooks (from TSR, White Wolf, Wizards of the Coast, R Talsorian, FASA, right up to FFG), 2/3rds is conservative. A lore book has to contain system information to cover a lot of possible usages, include story information of various points in history, and generally give over a fair amount of space to illustrations and reference tables. An RPG book wouldn't just give bios, it would have to give full character sheets so those parts alone would be about 3/4s dead space to me.

BS
Belle_Sorciere

It depends on what's in the games. Sentinels looks like it's going to be rules light - it'll have the basic resolution rules, rules for character creation, and character stats for the characters. The stats will include a background/biography for each, and there's probably going to be a significant fraction of the book devoted to the setting's history and current situation.

Your list of rulebooks has a wide variation in just how much rules crunch is in each - WotC's D&D is mostly mechanics, whereas White Wolf's products have a lot of setting information as compared to mechanics.

> Your list of rulebooks has a wide variation in just how much rules crunch is in each - WotC's D&D is mostly mechanics, whereas White Wolf's products have a lot of setting information as compared to mechanics.

Yes, they do. But they all only give over a small fragment to recent history because they have to cover a wider range of it. Even a white wolf rulebook would be 2/3rds dead space. All I want is the storyline of the events of the cardgame (with set-ups for people to play them where this is possible), Hero and Villain bios collected in to one place (rather than spread across the rule books and set-up cards from the mini-expansions), descriptions of the environments. The bulk of that would consists of a few paragraphs for each item. Now compare that to a hypothetical lore book - Rook City alone could fill a sourcebook, or a good sized chapter within a much bigger book.

I'm not saying an RPG lore book would be a poor product, just that to me as someone with no interest in the RPG, having to buy it to try and get something for the card game would represent poor value. In comparison, the 2nd book in the BloodBowl (2nd edition) game was about 32 pages with nearly no crunch, it merely gave context to the rules in the first book (and was very funny in places)

I'm with ViolentSilence on this one.  It sounds like we won't be getting a campaign/story compendium for the Multiverse...and will have to wait for the RPG.

That's fine, if RPGs are your thing. But they're not mine, really. So I'm a little bit bummed.

I get that an RPG sourcebook can be used to fill in gaps and whatever...but it sounds like the intent of the RPG is to tell the story between the events of the card game and the events of Tactics. And I want the part where the story of the card game itself is lined up with potential game set-ups or campaign scenarios...I know I can sort of figure that out on my own--but an "official" version would be cooler.

Now, we are getting a TON of stuff that comes with Oblivaeon, and I know that is all going to take a TON of work to get done in time, so I understand that what I'm wishing for isn't possible. Thanks to GTG for all you have done and are doing...but I can still lament that one of the things I wanted won't happen.

I'm sure I will still get this RPG sourcebook for the history/ story and whatever, but it won't be exactly what I'm looking for.

And hear me clearly that I totally get why it won't happen and this isn't complaint, but I'm still a little sad. And that's ok.

I'm hoping that the RPG will be more like a GURPS sourcebook - more focused on the backstory, characters, and plot hooks, than on rules.

That said, I totally get where you're coming from.  I've tried Tactics a couple of times and it's just not the game for me (I've never enjoyed miniature combat games).  Like you with the RPG, I'd love to read through all the materials that come in those boxes, but I'm not willing to pay for a set just to do that.

My dream for a compendium/timeline is made up entirely of comic book covers.  Give me 150 or so covers presented in chronological order representing the basic history of the Multiverse.  Each page/cover would essentially be a challenge or mission.  Not so much a set of missions that you chronologically work through, but just scenarios that allow you to play out the major events of Sentinels Comics history.  We see which heroes, villain, and environment were represented by that comic cover, and those are the decks we use in that challenge.  Can we emerge victorious?    And you don't have to play in order.  Just pick a comic issue to experience.

This way, I get a broad overview of SotM history, in a creative, engaging way, with some simple gaming content included with it.   And they can still save all the minutiae for the RPG.

YES!!!  I love the game, but I resist playing certain villian decks because of the extra space the large format character cards consume on my table.

At least two nemesis tokens would be great, to mark the villain as well as the hero.

And multiple pairs of nemesis tokens (one colour per pair) to mark situations where there are multiple, different nemesis combinations in play.

Personally, given the success of the campaign, I'm still really hoping that GTG still surprises us with one extra stretch goal at the $1,250,000 mark (which we're inching towards).

In a sense, the Pledge Manager is exactly that.

yeah. They were able to do it due to the success of the kickstart. They've made it clear there won't be any new content after the $1mil stretch goal but if there's anything they can do cosmetic wise or production wise, I'm sure they'll do it.

Now that we know OblivAeon must use flippable tokens for (at least) The Harpy, I’m gonna resurrect this thread to put in a request for a set of generic, whatever-the-players-want-to-use-them-for tokens. For example:

  • One token with every hero’s nemesis icon

  • Tokens with “!” icons

  • Tokens with comic-book explosion icons

These could be useful for reminding players of triggers on Ongoing cards, marking priorities, marking Best of Times Chrono-Ranger’s target, and so on.
