Promo cards storage

How do people store their promo cards? The box I used is too small to hold them all. What does everyone do to store them? Do they put them with thier deck, or seperately?

I place them in the same location the Vengeance villain cards are at.  They're accessible but not really ordered well.  

The promo cards are currently the only ones I bother sleeving, and I keep them all separate from the decks.  People can take a look at promos and see if they're intriguing, or just go for a deck that they already know they want to play.

I keep all my non-GTG printed promos with the heroes, because I don't really care if they get damaged. They're replaceable.

I keep all my "official" GTG promos in a sleeve, as well as a toploader, with my leftover hero/environment box, which aren't replaceable, unless I want to spend tons of cash.

I started preordering before Wrath of the Cosmos came out, so I don't have many of the previous ones. Although I did get a set of the Freedom Six, thanks to a good friend of mine.

My setup is a bit cumbersome, since I use premium Mayday sleeves, so I need all 4 large SOTM boxes to store everything nicely.

I treat them like the original character cards. The hero character cards go with their respective decks while the villain character cards (I only use the oversized cards, myself) all go in a stack in the Vengeance box (including the V-format character cards).

The oversized cards are the only ones I have sleeved, and that's just because that pocket of the Vengeance box also has other things that bang around against them a lot and I want to keep them legible. (I'm not worried about protecting them -- they're not collectible and I'm sure I'll end up buying another set some day down the line, anyway.)

Mine are sleeved and in an extra box (with a mustache on it) that fits into the big compartment of the Venegance box along with the tokens and the oversized cards. People occasionally play my copy without me keeping an eye on them and that way the promos aren't in the deck and being confusing (have I ever encountered someone who tried to play a deck with the origininal character card and the promo at the same time? Maybe!).

Plus if I start feeling all Gollum-y, I can easily take my promos out before I lend the game to dodgy strangers.

I'm always torn between lumping them together so people can see what they look like, vs in their respective decks for simplcity. 

I might go for the latter. 

The only reason mine aren't lumped in with the other decks is due to the toploaders. Otherwise I would totally do that. It makes setup simpler.

For a little while I started taking all of the character cards away from their respective decks and gave them to players to see what gauged their interest, but that never flew well with me. As such, I'm back to the tried and true method of keeping every hero's Hero Card(s) with their deck, usually ordered in date of release. When someone grabs a deck, if it's their first time through it, I urge them to select the topmost card as their avatar.

I tend toward the oversized villain cards, but since I lack large cards for most of the promo villains, those just hang out with their respective decks. To save on space, I store the normal sized cards in one of the small expansion boxes.

I keep all of my cards in one tall pile, randomly ordered. All heroes, villains, and environments are involved in every battle.

I keep all of my cards sleeved, with all character cards kept separate from the decks in one giant, ordered pile. The oversized cards have hard plastic Toploaders to protect them, and are separated between the Vengeance box (for V-format) and the Villains box (everyone else.)

That is sort of like my massive card castle. Man, is it a pain to build scaffolds to keep the thing up when I need to extract a card from the middle of it…

So it looks like I'm the only one paranoid enough to use toploaders with promos, haha.

I do not sleeve any of my cards. However the Kvothe of the Six String promos I have are sleeved, purely because they came that way and I have no reason to remove it.

Almost all my promos are home printed, so they are in top loaders to keep them together and accessable. Those are in the Vengence box in the space for the oversize villian cards. My only "real" promos are the holiday pack and right now they ride with the heroes side in the Vengence box.

I sleeve my cards and store the hero cards with their decks which are also sleeved. The oversized cards fit into an iris photo case. All my heroes are in SotM box, villains in VotM box, vengeance villains and environments in Vengeance box. Store tokens and dice in the oversized areas in the Vengeance and VotM boxes. All of this then fits into an Army Transport bag along with Sentinel Tactics and box of minis on top, with the cases for the oversized cards of both games fitting into the front pockets of the bag. So everything i need for SotM is in one bag except for the poster maps for Tactics.

I sleeve my actual boxes. Then I put all the boxes in a pile, and sleeve the pile as well.

You can never be too careful.
