Small vs Oversize Villain cards

Out of curiousity, which do you prefer for the Villain cards -- two small cards or one oversize card?

I prefer the two small cards, simply because they pack more easily with the rest of their deck.

The one big one. The transport issue is not a big deal for me, because if I have just one box, it will be the Vengeance box.

But I did recently start packing the two small cards with the deck, just for contingencies.

I prefer the small villain character cards. They're easy to take out than the oversized cards.

I prefer over-sized, myself. Easier to play (flip), easier to read, and thematically more entertaining. (That big card really stands out on the table!) I agree that it's a bit more effort to have the over-sized cards separate from the decks (assuming the storage solution even allows for it), but I feel like the extra effort to get them out and put them away has been worth it, myself, as the benefits last through the entire game.

I like both.   The oversized card is easier to flip and stands out more.  The smaller ones just are easier to transport and don't have much text blocking the main villain character card art.   I know they said they won't make any but I'd still like to see the two card setup for the Vengeance style villains too.  

I don't use either anymore. I actually hire an actor to dress up as the villain and constantly give verbal reminders of HP and what needs to happen.

I've considered it, but it doesn't fix the storage issue, only changes it.

Two small, definitely.  I find them easier to deal with (storage/transport/flipping/table space) and they match the aesthetic of everything else on the table.  I too would like the Vengeance (and presumably Villains) villain cards in that format if that could be done sometime (maybe when the full promo pack becomes available.)

I can see both sides, Even though I have Sentinel Sidekick, I still like using the Damage counters, and I find it easier with the oversized cards to have the damage and see the card (especially with high HP villains). It's also easier to randomly select a vilain with the oversized, because you just fan them out, and have somebody pick one of them at random. But the small ones are easier to carry, and you need less table space for them as well. I've only played about 2 games with oversized villain cards, but I personally like them more because my friends like reading the cards, and the oversized ones should prevent people from having to pass it around

Big cards.  "I want my next scheme to be small, portable and convenient" said no villain in this game.  Respect the Villainy, go big.

I haven't used an actual villain card in years.  I use my oversized custom villain cards because it's so much easier to read the text and as Rabit says, the larger card/picture really stands out on the table as the focus of action.  If I were forced to use only official cards, I'd definitely use the oversized ones.

I prefer the smaller ones - they fit better with the decks and take up less space on the table ;).

This is all really interesting to me--I had just assumed as a matter of course that people would prefer the oversized cards.

I prefer the smaller ones and have made my own small versions for Vengeance and Villains.

I am definitely a fan of the oversized cards, and my gaming group sees a lot less play out of Wrath villains just because people feel put off by their puny size, haha.

For me it is totally dependant on table size. Smaller table, get the smaller ones. Room for big ones? Go with oversized. Unless I'm playing Omnitron II or something where the small one is not avaliable to me.

I go back and forth. I usually end up running the villain in most games. The small cards are nice because then I can have the picture card on the table with HP as a placeholder for everyone else and the rules card closer to me so I don't have to read upside-down. The oversized cards are nice because they're easier for other people at the table to see and (especially for newer players who can get distracted by al the minions) are a good reminder of the primary goal.

But plagues themselves are pretty small! Viruses are very compact, very portable and very convenient!

I use the oversized cards whenever possible, but I have the regular cards too. Transportation is not an issue for me, as there's a place in the Vengeance box for them.

Plague Rat doesn't really have schemes though.  He just wants to be left alone.

Baron Blade has real style, even whenhis plan is a small vial of toxin he makes sure he goes big for the delivery, no buying a pizza joint and ruining the Parson's pizza night, nope, he sets an elaborate trap at a mars base for that.
