Well, that sucked

I was playing Fanatic, DW Expat, Wraith, and Fixer against advanced Citizen Dawn in Silver Gultch.

I had almost beat her down before flipping, when a Sustain the Portal came out, killed Citizen Spring (her 5th citizen), and flipped her.  Getting her to flip back cost me everyone but Wraith, but Wraith was completely set up at this point, so she managed to clean up the citizens, and I was one good Inventory Barrage away from victory... when another Sustain the Portal took out the two Explosive Wagons.  And that, my friends, was that.

Man, Sustain the Portal is the worst. I use its helpful ability maybe 5% of the time. And its interaction with Explosives Wagon makes it worse than Hallway Collapse.

Well, next time you'll know to play Chastise.

Not as bad, but I had a game against Blade where he had 12 cards in the trash, and Atlantis played the top card of his deck, 3 Hasten Dooms.

Or the games where either Pillars of Hercules or Atlantean Throne Room made Omnitron play Electro pulse during or before the start of his turn and then murdered everyone.

I had similar occur but against Voss.  Two explosive wagons were out and a Sustain the Portal came out causing a chain of explosiveness that my team did not survive.  Had Voss at 9 HP after all that destruction. 

Two explosive wagons are NEVER good news.
