Well sort of. So my friend and i do these things where we have a tourment thing. So what we do is we pick a villain and enviroment. We then ban one character and then force the other to play one character. Then we pick charactera with no repeats until we have a four man team. So if anyone has a suggestion that i could use to make this more interesting

You can have the option of letting them take away one of your characters or adding a character to their own roster in order to change their villian to advanced rules.
Oh thats aound interesting might do that

Try picking the team that the _other_ person has to play with. Or maybe mix and match, something like:
Player 1 bans a character
Player 2 bans a character
Player 2 chooses a character for their team
Player 1 chooses a character for their team
Player 1 chooses a character for Player 2's team
Player 2 chooses a character for Player 1's team
Player 2 chooses a character for Player 1's team
Player 1 chooses a character for Player 2's team
Player 1 chooses a character for their team
Player 2 chooses a character for their team

You could also have some sort of lifeline system. Where each person gets three lifelines they can use before you start
What do you mean lifeline?

Something that will either make their game harder or your game easier. Some I had in mind were:
(As I mentioned before) Your oppenent must face the villian in advanced rules
Your opponet mus start the battle with each Hero taken 5 damage already
Your villian starts with a certain amount of health gone already (I was thinking 10%, rounded down. So deadline would start with 8 damage taken, Omnitron would start with 10 damage taken, etc, etc)
Stuff like that that you can use before the fight to make it more interesting, and to help you

There were a couple of competitive events on the forum. Although they were mostly do your best against your opponents, and not directly affecting your opponent.
So any other suggestions. I like everything so far but there got to be more ideas. Id appreciate any input.
Maybe the villain and environments are randomized and both teams use the same ones, then they can ban ___ heroes and draft the rest, then whoever wins in the leadt amount of rounds wins? (Or whoever lowers the villain the most or something if the both lose)

Villain and environment could be known or unknown beforehand. One person creates two teams (without any overlapping heroes). Second person chooses which team they play and the first person has to use the other team. So, there's incentive not to make one team way better than the other.

Ah, the "you cut, I choose" mechanic.

I know whenever we can't decide on a villian or an environment, We roll a dice (usually a D20 for villians). So once both of you choose a team for the villian, roll for the villian. Who know, maybe you end up with a team that's a hard counter to the villan, or end up with a villian that will wipe the floor with you
