The Vengeful Five villains had an easy-to-use team name, so they were easy to refer to. But in discussions about the new villains, I find myself tripping over describing the "new villains you fight in a format similar to the V5 villains, but there are more of them to choose from... except you can also use them with the V5 villains too." And calling the new group of villains the Villains [of the Multiverse] villains isn't much better. So what's the solution? Are they the:
1) V10 (there are ten of them, right?)
2) VV (Villains villains)
3) something else much cooler than either of the suggestions above?

Team villains? Partner villains? Group villains?

Well, we might need two different terms:
One for the VotM villains specifically (Decadoom)
One for the entire collection of 15 team-style villains (Sesquidecadoom)

I'm calling them Vengeance villains, even though they're not. It's slightly shorter than the more accurate Vengeance-style villains.

In all my correspondence about it, I've been referring to them as Vengeance-style villains, but I agree that this is a bit awkward.

I call them Teamers.
I was wondering how you will implement them in the randomizer. As a new "meta villain", as the V5 ? Combined with the V5 ? Or will there be a V5 entry, a "teamer" entry AND a "V5+teamers" entry ?

Roman numerals maybe?
X-Villains
It you shorten it to XV then you get 15 so it covers the V5.

Just to check, we can mix-and-match these new guys with the Vengeance Five, can't we? So, you could fight, say, Bugbear, Sergeant Steel, and Proletariat in the same game? If one of the villains is Baron Blade, does he still go first even if the other villains aren't all Vengeance Five villains?

Yep! You can mix and match them anyway you like! I take the Baron Blade going first as a suggestion rather than something that has to be done.

I am ashamed. I think i killed this joke of too soon....
I'm planning on adding them in with the V5 and treating them the same way (if the randomizer chooses a villain team as the villain, it will randomly choose which out of all the available team villains to display).
I've been trying to decide if I need to do something similar for the Sentinels, now that you can mix and match each of their character cards. I think I'm not going to do that in the randomizer. You'll either get the normal Sentinels or the Project Armory Sentinels, but not an option to mix them. There's nothing stopping anyone from mixing them on their own if they wanted to, of course.

@ Spiff : it will do. I fully agree for the Sentinels. I'd like to have both "vengeful five" and "mixed villains" as separate entities, but that something I can manage myself depending on my mood. And thanks for all your work - your randomizer is the basis of the vast majority of my games.

That's not a bad idea, to leave the V5 as they are and then to add a new set that has the new villains plus the V5 mixed in. I'll take a look at how complicated that would be.
