Is there anywhere you can get hero, villain and environment cards like the ones in the mini-expansions? I realised the other day how neat it was to be able to hand a new player something that gives them the bio for the hero, putting the lore in the box and save on passing round the rulebooks. Not sure how they could take promo cards in to account though
Not that I know of, but these ought to be a thing. Homebrewing something would be fairly straightforward but enormously time consuming. They would also be a great way to randomly select heroes without requiring an app to hand, I tried using the character cards in this way but it just made things awkward when people want to choose from the box.
I don't much care for them myself; just another thing to keep track of (that I still want to keep around). And for OCD's sake, I wish the first six mini-expansions were like the blister pack cards.
I keep all of my rulebooks and character supplement inserts if I want to know more about them and their difficulties/complexities, so that does the trick.
You could print out the wiki bios and use those. One problem there is that promos generally have an entirely seperate page, it it’s still doable.
I believe that the reprints will all come in blister packs. At PAX Unity and Ambuscade had them along with the three new ones
It was just neat being able to hand someone the card when they were interested in Unity, to give them a sense of the character. Printing the wikis would work, it just would add a lot more paper to the box. For people familiar with the lore, these are far from essential, so I won't be shocked if there is a lack of interest in the cards, it just appealed to the ex-roleplayer side of me

Seriously though, the blister packs were genius. No more bent dividers and whatnot.
I liked the cards that came with Unity and Ambuscade and wouldn't be opposed to the a 'deck' of bio cards being available for past heroes and bios coming with the new ones as they get published. Make the deck bigger and give us Villain ones too. Both for the main guys and the folks that pop up on nemesis cards like Tantrum and The Crackjaw Crew.
The promo cards could also come with one as a bio-update type thing. What makes Rook City Wraith different? Why is she RookCitying at this point in her career. Why is Engine Of War Bunker a different dude? That kind of thing.
Edit : It's just occured to me that what I actually want is an A-Z of the Multiverse. Probably too big for bio cards. I'll see myself out ;)
Wonder if the Ambuscade in the blister pack has the recent errata for his cloaking device.
