Speculation on Future Villains-Turned-Heroes

After already seeing Omnitron and Fright Train change their ways, it appears with the box cover for Battle for Broken City that the Matriarch eventually switches sides to join the heroes. If they ever made a Matriarch hero deck, that would be really cool.

What are some other villains that could potentially make this switch in the few remaining Sentinels of the Multiverse expansions?

A few thoughts:

• Baron Blade

This seems doubtful. Considering his past deeds and his apparent madness, I'm not sure he would ever choose to work alongside Legacy.

• Citizen Dawn

Pending reconciliation between her and Expatriette and her mysterious father, this one might be possible.

• Voss

It's unlikely that that the galactic dictator would have a change of heart but he might however be persuaded to work together against a common threat.

• Ambuscade

As more of a hunter/mercenary type, Ambuscade seems like a leading candidate for a hero conversion. It would be fun to be able to play traps and use his fancy equipment.

Well, I know one for sure, it's <REDACTED>.

Engine of War Bunker is Fright Train.

I'm not sure when we first learned about it, but I think this post pretty much confirms it.

I'd like to note that we only know Fright Train goes hero in the timeline where Young Legacy died. The main timeline it appears he will not, thanks to him appearing on the receiving end of Bunker's External Combustion in Sentinel Tactics

heres a question then. Out of all the stuff that takes place due to the shattered timelines how much of it actually merges into the main sentinels universe or are all these alternative heroes and villians only appear due to time going crazy.

Fright Train fights against the people in charge, when the people in charge become villains, everyone suddenly looks at Fright Train differently.

Hmm, villains that could be redeemed. For now I'll assuem we mean proper villains, and not other folks in villain decks.

Miss Information seems like a likely candidate. Shes psychotic, but she can work through that.

Deadline could be another possibility. Again, he is damaged goods, but he could be a force for positive change, if he gets some therapy.

I'd love to see a healed and hero-yInfinitor. I find his story particularly haunting, the picture on Whispers of Oblivion gut shots me right in the feels.

Hmm. Bit of a recurring theme there, looks like the pyschologically damaged villains strike me as the more redeemable. :D

I'm guessing that Miss Information is a lost cause.  She's one of the Villains of the Multiverse, I believe.

In Tactics, Proletariat is mentioned as fighting against villains and heroes alike, anyone who works against the interest of the common man (as he sees it). So he'd be a pretty easy to justify as a hero deck. Although if he was still named "Proletariat" as a hero that'd have some... awkard interactions with the villain deck if you were pulling out the vengeful five.

Also, he's not a villain deck per se, but when brainstorming my own hero decks one of my favorite subjects is Char.

Actually, it'd be pretty cool to see an environment target turned into a hero or a villain.

I'm thinking the T-Rex would make a good hero.

I can't help but think of Futuresaurus Rex from Atomic Robo…

Robo: "It evolved to have missile launchers?"

Dr. Dinosaur: "Obviously.  What do you think happens in timelike loops?"

Robo: "I'll tell you why you're stupid later.  We've got bigger problems."

And Atomic Robo is now offered for free!  Man, maybe like Kvothe we can get a Robo promo.

I was thinking about this last night and what about Deadline? Here is my reasoning. His whole mission was to knock the Earth back into the stone age so this Cosmic Entity would ingore it. Well after SoTM we are going to assume the Sentinels defeated this Cosmic Entity. Therefore his reason for being bad has been removed. Ultimately he saw himself as the good guy in the situation. So I could see him going 3 different ways (if the Sentinels were not forced to kill him during this battle).

1) Deadline becomes a good guy looking to make up for the fact he tried to destroy the Earth by using his device thingy to protect different worlds ( by not destorying them)

2) He goes back to the Endlings and is serverly punished and we never hear from him again

3) He is mad because he got smacked around by the heroes or he wasnt the one to save the universe and desides to come up with a new plan to be bad.

What are everyone thoughts?

I'd say Deadline redeems himself when the Cosmic Entity arrives by fighting for the heroes, but dies in the process and so never becomes a full-fledged hero. Mainly because we already have two alien heroes and he seems too similar to Tempest.
