Hi.  I was wondering if anyone else from the USA is still waiting on the Wrath of the Cosmos preorders.  CSI has had it in stock for a week and a helf and I was told thathey shipped almost two weeks ago but still haven't received anything - not the preorder or even a tracking number?  Is this unusal or is anyone else in the same boat?

Yeah, I still haven’t recieved mine either. They had a lot of orders to fill; I’m going to be patient a little while longer.

If you just can’t wait, however, try contacting craig@greaterthangames.com.

If you live in the US and have not gotten your WCOS preorder yet, send an email to Craig!

I'm still waiting mine from CSI. I got an email earlier this week saying it shipped. For the Record I ordered through CSI NOT through >G as I didn't dscover Sentinels til after the pre-order was closed.

US order#24591 still in preorder status.

Not happy. With the overly high shipping charge, I've paid $12 (or $16) too much, to get my copy a week late (paid $31.99 incl shipping to 》G for preorder), can pick up locally *today* for $19.99 (or a town over just for $15.99!).

No more preorders for me, I think.  Cash for tangible goods and services.

But if you do that then you won't get the promos and mini-expansions, which would basically cost that much anyway but you get for free by preordering.

Paul has said that they have no way of updating the order statuses at this time, so it will keep showing "Preorder".

My order has been received. I just haven't seen it yet. The joys of interstate travel for family medical.

@DocHogan

If you have not received yours yet, something must have gone wrong in shipping. Send an email to warehouse@greaterthangames.com if you have not already and we'll get it sorted out.

Still waiting for GTG to even ship the EU ones, so you in the US are getting it easy. And my local game store has already got all the mini expansions and expansion set in the store. Hell I could actually have bought them in his store with the discount I have for LESS than what I spent on the pre-order given the insanely high shipping cost. I'm actually uncertain as to what I'm getting in the WotC pre-order set than I couldn't get right now in the store. Puts me off the newest pre-order especially if the promo's/mini expansions in that one are going to be available on retail anyway.

What you get in the pre-order that you cant get at your local store are the 6 promo cards (Prime Wardens + KNYFE) plus the art prints.  For Villains, it will be the 7 promo cards + art prints.

I'm in the US. At this point I'm almost willing to make a bet that the EU people get them in their hands before I get mine in my hands.

So, current status on my pre-order is...S.O.L.?

Per Paul's advice in 1/19, I emailed warehouse@gtg to advice of non-receipt on 1/23.

> I have not yet received my pre-order *or* shipping notice for WotC. Please advise!

On 1/24, I received the following reply from Jodie, GTG Warehouse Manager (she also cc'd Craig@gtg):

> Hi!

I'm sorry you haven't received this, yet.  Because of the way we had to ship these, we were unable to send notifications on US orders.

I'm showing that your order was delivered.  It's FedEx: 246399035xxxxxx.

This might be enough information for you to follow up on the shipment

Upon receiving that reply I checked tracking#, and FedEx showed package as having been delivered the afternoon of January 6.  That package was absolutely not delivered to my address.  I immediately followed up with FedEx, with these results, which I emailed in reply to Jodie:

> Called FedEx on Sat 1/24

    3:30p - Brian opened Case#0124 512298

4:15pm - Per Victoria, case is too old and FedEx will not cover, contact sender

I received a Vacation autoreply, Jodie would be out of office several days while attending PAX.  With no reply or follow-up from Jodie by January 30th, I sent the following to Jodie, with a cc to Paul@GTG:
>

Jodie,

Hope you had a blast at PAX!

Checking in to see if we had any resolution for my missing pre-order.

I have yet to hear *anything* in reply.

I am currently VERY unhappy with GTG customer service and shipping. If a shipping notice had been sent, I could have been on watch for the packages arrival (or non-arrival in this case); in this instance of non-arrival, I could have opened a case with FedEx within their investigative window.

As it is, communication, follow through, and support from >G has been overwhelmingly...underwhelming.

You will run into problems like this, because they aren't a big company, and if they are away you have to wait for them to come back.

They are usually very helpful when they are there to help.

I know that really sucks to hear when you are waiting, but yeah, SOL until there is someone there who can deal with it.

It has now been over a month since the item was supposedly delivered, and 9 days since my last email was sent to >G staff inquiring about this.

"Small company' is not an acceptable excuse for the current situation and lack of communication.

Have you tried sending them another email?

Something being "not acceptible" and them being very busy are two conflicting issues.  I know they want to help out and I know you want your order to come through.  But getting angry rarely helps any issue.  Being patient, however, often helps.  Your decisions once the issue is resolved can be whatever you want based on this experience, but please treat people with kindness and respect.  You'll find them much more interested in helping you and will be appreciative of your patience.  Anger in this case doesn't help the issue get resolved faster and it just makes your day and theirs worse.

I don't have anything in my inbox from you since the 23rd of January, which Jodie responded to. To whom did you send an email 9 days ago?

Hi Craig, thanks for jumping in here.

As per the quoted post I left above, I sent the following to Jodie on January 24th:

Called FedEx on Sat 1/24

3:30p - Brian opened Case#0124 512298

4:15pm - Per Victoria, case is too old and FedEx will not cover, contact sender

Upon still receiving nothing in reply by January 30th, I sent the following to both Jodie and Paul:
> Jodie,

Hope you had a blast at PAX!

Checking in to see if we had any resolution for my missing pre-order.
to which I still have received no response or feedback of any kind.  Both emails included all previous correspondence.

Ah, ok. That explains why I didn't have anything in my inbox. I'll poke Jodie tomorrow and see what the situation is.

Thank you Craig!

BTW - since my most recent response to you tonight, and going through me sent emails to confirm quotes and times, I noticed that Jodie had cc'd you to bring you into the situation; I had not noticed that at the time and had simply replied to her email.  Had I noticed at the time, I would have replied all and kept you in the loop, which would probably have kept this issue on the radar.

Everybody hits a breaking point eventually, and they are naturally going to vent a bit. In the long run, it's probably a good thing.  The whole WotC preorder has been one giant customer service disaster, and people being patient hasn't seemed to do much to inspire the folks at GtG to make a concerted effort to improve it.  I can certainly see DocHagan' s frustration when he's sent two emails over a 16 day period without a reply.  When you go that long without a reply, but a GtG employee gives you a response within a few hours on their forums, it definitely begs the question if they are doing a good job of prioritizing their man hours.  Similarly, with all the shipping issues they had, do you really need to take your warehouse manager to Pax and leave these issues hanging until they get back?  I've worked for a small etailor before, and frankly, a lot of the stuff GtG has done with this preorder, like holding up the bulk of an order without contacting the customer to see if they would like the option of splitting up the shipment for an additional s&h charge and not sending shipment verifications simply wouldn't fly.

UPDATE:  Replacement package received and opened last night, everything looks great.  Base WotC, 3 expanxion decks, a few art prints, and a pack of small alt cards including KNYFE.

THANK YOU Craig, for stepping in and getting this taken care of!  And thanks to Jodie for fixing the issue!
