I've been following the updates in anticipation for the release of the system, and given that the early version of the PDF went live in a Kickstarter update today, I was hoping I could get information on when it will be available to purchase for non-backers, or if it is possible to use BackerKit to become a late backer. Any information or answers would be appreciated!

You can't become a late backer, unfortunately; I tried and failed at that. Since I missed my shot, I just just had to preorder it so now I'm waiting for whenever it's released to the masses.
