So let me start off by stating what may be obvious to some but I don't have access to the Backer stuff. I have preordered but that's it right now. With that being said, I'm curious about 2 things:

1) Does this version of Sentinels have a Nemesis option? Can we make villains that way?

2) And if so, then how do we play it? Do people GMing just decide who your nemesis is? Has anybody approached this idea yet?

The answer to these things can be simply, "Yes, it's in the ruleset" and I need not hear anymore but I'm just curious because it is something that I was always aware of when playing SOTM. Thanks for the help.

There are no nemesis rules in the RPG core rulebook.  Christopher and Adam have mentioned it might be something they do later on.

It's something that you could houserule in fairly easily, tbh.

Yeah, you could simply give a hero a bonus to all actions against that particular villain, and the villain the same against the hero.  I'd personally rather tailor something more specific, though--a hero squaring off against their nemesis is a much more significant scenario in an RPG than in the card game.
