Hi Playtesters & Christopher,
I ran into what seemed like a few minor glitches in Ch5 (The Bullpen) I thought I'd share.
The version I'm referring to is the one shared in the Kickstarter.
1) p. 243
"Overlord" Villain Archetype asks you to "Count the number of minion groups and individual lieutenants ... to determine their current status", which is defferent from the description of the "Legion" archteype (which is sort of the mirror type to this).
However, I can't find a definition of minion "group" anywhere, and the dice list below refers to the number of (individual?) minions, without mention of Lieutenants, quite like the "Legion" archetype. Maybe a leftover from earlier versions?
2) p.261
Typo: The table for temporary abilities allows you, for 4 hero points, to "emporarily upgrade one of your Yellow abilities" - missing the T.
3) p. 256-257
Not really a glitch, more of a UX thing: When you want to whip up a twist on-the-fly, the table is not really structed in a very user-friendly way.
As it is, the type of the twist (add a threat, create a challenge etc.) is the defining top-level argument, while you have to skip across the table to gather the twists that match the current GYRO zone. This certainly seems convenient when writing and balancing the various levels of the same effect type.
But when playing, you'll usually need quite the opposite structure: The zone is already defined by the situation in play, so you'll look for suitable twist matching that zone (and pick the effect source from there).
Therefore I'd suggest to sort by zone first, and go through the various effect sources on 2nd level within those zones.
Hope this helps!
