Time for another one of catDreaming's dumb questions!
If a hero has Area Healing (from the supernatural power source), but they have no allies nearby, can that hero still use Area Healing?
Area Healing: Boost an ally using <Power>. You and other nearby heroes Recover health equal to your Min die

There isn't any requirement that there have to be other heroes nearby for the health recovery. If you didn't have any other heroes that are considered nearby I'd say your character would still recover health.

I think this falls under the "do all that you can" guideline. Part 2 of the ability is not dependent on Part 1 being completed.
