Dynasty Background

This background seems to feel weaker than a number of other backgrounds. In some of these cases the fact that it starts off with access to Close Combat makes up for that, but then you compare it to Tragic where it seems to be very much the same save that one gives d8,d8,d6 and the other gives d10,d10,d6.

Not sure on that one as I don’t know the reasoning for any dice pairing they have for various backgrounds.  

In a lot of cases the differences in Backgrounds are in the access to various qualities and larger die sizes. Dynasty and Tragic stand out because their Quality access is very similar but the dice they send on to the next step are very different.
