There are some abilities that ask you to select [Element/Energy] and others that ask you to select [Element/Energy that you have an associated power for]... does this mean that one doesn't actually need a specific Power for the former but can only select the power(s) they have for the latter?
For Example, with the Immunity ability from the Accident power source, could I select Fire even if my character doesn't have the Fire Power (basicly making me fireproof even if he can't control/effect Fire while my character would only be able to take the Element Alignment ability from the Elemental Manipulator archtype if he had an appropriate Element/Energy power (which the Archtype requires) and thus would only be able to take that ability with the specific Element/energy power(s) I have... right?
I could see a character being immune to some Elements/Energies without actually possessing those energies (a character with fur being immune to cold, someone with rock hard or thick skin being immune to fire) while other characters would need to be able to manipulate the energy in order to perform an ability.
Just looking to see if I have interpreted this right.
