In October Megalopolis is setting up for a grand Halloween festival that'll last from the 10th till October 31st however a slew of horrible undead arrive to wreak havoc. At first, people assume it's just vandals wreaking havoc (not the ones from Stolen Legacy) however as the police try to arrest these party crashers it appears they are not thugs in costumes! Thus a new supervillain has arrived. The Sinister Lord of Death. With his diabolical powers to raise the dead, the heroes must band together to stop him before he turns the Halloween Festival into a true Monster Mash.

The Lord of Death: Grimmalkin: Archetype: Minon Maker. Powers: Necromancy, Animation, Infernal. Qualities: Magical Lore, Anatomy, Dark Magic.

Looks: A dark red headed boy about 5 feet tall and wears a dark purple cloak with a flame motif and a large skull on the back. Wears fingerless gloves with a skeleton motif and wears a mask only covering nose and eyes with a skull theme.

Motivations: Mayhem for sake of mayhem, Admiring his summons.

The six issues would have this rough concept once rules are out might make Google docs to list all this.

Dense Macabre (Collection name) The heroes are tasked with battling Grimmalkin an evil necromancer hellbent on causing as much chaos as possible. A true villain who has no motive other than watching the mass destruction his army causes. The heroes must battle undead from skeletons and zombies to evil spirits as they attempt to stop Grimmalkin from opening the gates to The River Styx and ending the world.

Am I missing a pun on the word Dense?

Isn't the actual music piece Danse Macabre?

I'm a sucker for supernatural villains, so someone like your Grimmalkin could be a lot of fun to use as a 'force of (un-)nature'.  If you're looking for accomplices or the like, the March entries in The Big Villains Thread are all mystic themed, and October's entries are all monsters.  Check the index for a brief rundown of all of them!

Danse Macabre is a style of artwork to celebrate life after death. (what Mexicans do for Day of The Dead) Dense as in a dense number of undead so it’s a pun. Basically saying Crap ton of undead!!! In a poetic pun.

This is more of what I was referencing:  Danse Macabre, by Saint-Saens.

I see now what you were going for with the pun, but... maybe workshop it a bit.  Maybe it's me, but I don't tend to associate the word Dense with a horde of things. A block of lead is dense; a throng of zombies is more... swarming, shifting, almost amorphous.  It almost implies fluidity to me, not density.  But hey, ymmv.
