Muerto's Haunt Electronics is phrased a little oddly compared to most other hero abilities.  For instance, his Principle of the Gearhead:

Overcome a technological challenge. Use your Max die. You and each of your allies gain a hero point.

This is like most other abilities: A check type is defined, then the special stuff from the ability.  So for this one, you get to make an Overcome check to overcome something, and in addition to that, you get to use a more beneficial die and gain a hero point.

Now Haunt Electronics:

Overcome using Technology. On a success, enter an Electronics form on your auxiliary sheet. Then, take a basic action with your Min die.

This is the only ability that says "Overcome... On a success."  So I'm not clear: is this like a Principle, where you get to make an Overcome check to overcome something, then if you succeed you also get to possess something, or is it that you have to succeed at the Overcome check just to try to change forms?

I read it as you are making an overcome to possess something. The minor twist could be losing a power or die size for a round, while a major twist could be the loss of one of these things until the next time you change form. This could represent your control over the form
