So listening to the podcast for Power Sources, Wacthing the Live Stream for Backgrounds, Supplementing Backgrounds with the Character Sheets, Getting the numbers for ROLL charts from the Live Stream, Weighing out the Character Sheets and Creating Rules I have come up with a PATCHY-RAG-TAG-QUICK-N-DIRTY character creation document.
This document is a stone compared to a pyramid next to what we can expect in the core rulebook. But I really wanted to get a game going and my players are Pre-Gen snobs and will not really play unless they made their characters. SOOOOO in order for me to play I had to create this document. It worked pretty well for us. It is a rules light game so luckily fudging things is totally fine, but I thought I would share with the community for suggestions, edits, and fair use.
This may keep our appetite going through the long wait until January! Stay Strong my fellow Sentinels.

Ha, We made a thing like this a few months ago. Good work.
I just offer a few ideas. The Abilities on Red tend to be more powerful, your creator should work this in or have the players agree to this. I would make a cap for each zone (Like a max 3 point ability in green, 5 in yellow, 7 in red. Just throwing out numbers)
The HP should be based on something else than just a roll, It be weird if the caster types have more HP than the non-physical types, Maybe make it base on a physical power or Quality (some other games do this). Can you add a bit about making a unique Quality that related to your hero(Veteran, America's Finest, Wealthy CEO, Intern), I remember Christopher saying that once. For the arrays, you are missing Unity's 10, d8, d6 array.
My experience the background/personality/power source/Archetype don't mean much in the game until it Narratively does. It is more used to focus a character Idea. I feel that people are placing more importance on these than they should get.

It was so very interesting to see the actual character creation rules after looking at my little hombrew system lol.
