Sentinel Comics RPG Chapter 2 Access

Hello all,

I made it through all the videos of the Sentinel Comics RPG, and absolutely can't wait to play this game. I've been playing since 2012, and have participated in every sentinels related Kickstarter/Preorder/Patreon since. However, in the chat, it was mentioned that chapter 2, character creation, would be at Gen Con, which unfortunately I can't attend due to having just started a new job, and then on the Playtesting forums. So, my question is, where are those forums/what would it take to access those forums? Or is this a thing where if I can't make it, I just can't see it until January.

Thank you for any help, and as a side note, I'd certainly be willing to throw dollars to them as well, if I have missed the option to become a playtester somewhere, like some other RPG centric companies have.

I am going to Gen-con and will help you out, but will wait for more details before I make any arrangements. 

I miss the context of when they said that. Is it chapter 2 of the Live stream or another mini-chapter before the RPG?

In the chat during the live episode, Greater Than Games mentioned that they hope to have chapter 2 of the Core Rulebook, which they said was the character creation chapter, at GenCon. And then they would post that chapter to the Playtesting Forums. I can't do Gen Con, but I don't know what/where the Playtesting Forums are to access it that way either.

I might have mis-typed in the chat, so I wanted to clarify here! This does in fact refer to chapters of the Core Rulebook, which is currently being refined and edited and laid out (which is quite an extensive process). The chapters are:

1. Introduction
2. Playing the Game
3. Creating Heroes
4. Running the Game
5. The Bullpen <- (creating GM elements)
6. Adventure Issues <- (2 premade adventures)
7. The Archives <- (premade heroes/villains/minions/environments/etc)

We are hoping to have Chapter 3 at Gen Con, and to run some stuff from Chapter 6.

How does one get a playtester badge? Join the Cult of Gloom? Contribute DNA for a flesh-child? 

Whichever chapter it is, I'd love to also have access to that Forum. So I'll second the question of how to get that badge for access to those forums. I'm also not opposed to the first of rickjonzz' methods of entry.

We are discussing our options now for adding more playtesters, especially since we just hired Braithwhite on full time!

Will this function similarly to last time?  (Which I believe was done via announcement on the GtG main page?)  Count me in on also being interested.

I’d love to, but it would depend on the commitment. I can send lots of time proofreading and theorycrafting, but playing actual games with real humans in real-time, not so much.

Anyone who thinking about becoming a playtester: I’d recommend reading this awesome post Phantaskippy made last time new playtesters were added. It helped persuade me to sign up, while going in my eyes open to the downsides as well.
