Just discovered Sentinel Comics RPG, what do I need to know?

Hello all!

Apparently I'm like about 7 years late in discovering the Sentinels multiverse.

Spotted it recently via Ads and articles in the GTM trade magazine and promptly

picked up the Sentinels Comics RPG starter kit as I intend to run the full game when it

comes out. (yeah, via kickstarter I read that part.  :-))

I want to brush up on the multiverse lore and all the Heroes and Villains past history.

To that note, I also just bought the:

Sentinels of the Multiverse cardgame

Rook City & Infernal Relics expanson

Shattered Timelines & Wrath of the Cosmos expansion

and the single "Unity" and "Miss Information" packs.

I'm hoping they will help fill me in on the various characters and some of their

past history before i start running the RPG.

Any other good sources of lore for me to use in prepping for running the RPG?

If you're looking for items to prep for upcoming RPG sessions, I have a "Villain of the Day" program ongoing a thread in this very sub-forum.  Check out "The Big Villains" thread for a new villain every day, usually around noon.

Keep in mind; none of those are canon.  While many of them have references and background elements that fit them within the greater multiverse at large, they're my own creations, not those of Christopher, Adam, or anyone else at Greater Than Games.

You can run this system with knowing the lore. My players have taken characters in interesting directions. The system is very fun and lose.

Now if you do wanna hear the lore there is The Letter Page podcast where Christopher and Adam are reading letter to us. . . It them expanding on the lore of the world.

I do want to note that they are comic book fans. The Sentinels world has another world with a plushblish company that prints Sentinels. Very meta.
