Out Ability Question

When a hero is Out, they only have access to their one Out ability. Do they only roll 1 die associated with that ability, or do they roll 3 dice and use the mid like normal?

If they roll 3 dice, what do they use for the status die? I wasn't able to find much in the rule related to Out abilities.

Good question! When Out, you roll just the one die indicated by your Out ability.
