Huh, I posted a thread on this topic yesterday, but it seems the internet has eaten it.
I'm reposting, but if this is something the mods are taking down, please let me know in a PM so I don't try it a third time. It is possible that the minor spoilers about team names and the newest form of Akash'bhuta were the cause, but I just don't know
I was thinking about how the nemesis icons on the heroes are tied to their mythos and end up ususally being important to them as characters. Legacy has Paul Revere's Lantern, NAturalist has his "sesa wo suban", AZ has his cryo suit, ect ect ect
Now, because of mechanical reasons, all of the new heroes have the Oblivaeon icon. I agree this works for Baron Blade, but Harpy was a hero before Oblivaeon and continues to do so afterword, and she's the one who got me thinking. In the RPG, with Oblivaeon no longer a major threat, what would the nemesis icons of some of these heroes like Harpy, Benchmark and Lifeline be? We know something happens to Stuntman which may make him a canidate too, but I can't speculate on what that could possibly end up being.
So, Harpy I figure would end up as either a crow or her mask, which is the easy guess but a solid one to my mind.
Benchmark is interesting, a modified Revocorp symbol seems the best choice, but I'm also wondering if that will be the symbols for the team Paradigm's because it is likely that Revocorp made Benchmark the official leader of that team.
For whatever new thing Akash'Flora became, again I go obvious with either a sprouting seed or a tree. You know, tangent, I wonder if Akash and Man-Grove are going to end up meeting. That could be a cool story.
Thoughts on all this, any other suggestions?
